- Hey everyone and welcome to the Bohemian Bandana Cowl! I have decided to make this a made to measure pattern as I think it’s great being able to grab any kind of yarn from stash and just get straight to it. I will provide measurements that you will work towards! It comes in 2 sizes, Kids aged 5 to 10 and then Adult. There is also a video tutorial to help you on your way!
The tutorial is in US TERMS.
Here are a few links of some of the things that I used during this tutorial. These are affiliate links so if you purchase through them I will get a little of bit of commission to go towards my small business.

Section 2 consists of...

34:56 - Row 8
Keep repeating sections 1 & 2 until you reach the correct width for the size you are making.
If you would like to keep a track of your stitch counts then here is how you do that...
Row 5 - Add 14dcs to each side - For example, the 1st Row 5 that was created had 19dcs on each side, the next time Row 5 was repeated (Row 9), it had 33dcs on each side. The next time Row 5 was repeated (Row 13), it had 47dcs on each side. Therefore Row 17 will have 61dcs on each side, Row 21 will have 75 and so on…
Row 6 - Add 7dcs + 7chsps to each side - For example, using the same process as above Row 18 will have 34dcs + 30chsps on each side, Row 22 will have 41dcs + 37chsps on each side and so on…
Row 7 - Row 7 will always have 7dcs, you will need to add an extra 14 puffs + 14chsps on each side - For example Row 23 will have 7dcs + 37 puffs + 37chsps on each side and so on…
Row 8 - Add 7dcs + 7chsps to each side - For example, using the same process as above Row 20 will have 38dcs + 34chsps on each side, Row 24 will have 45dcs + 41chsps on each side and so on…
Row 11 - Add 9dc + 6 pops + 13chsps to each side - For example, using the same process as above, Row 19 will have 24dcs + 14 pops + 29chsps on each side and so on…

I have finished my bandana cowl and I’m very pleased with it but my popcorns don’t ‘pop’ very much. What am I doing wrong? Thank you for the lovely pattern and video tutorial.
@@sharoncross5371 I usually tighten them when I join the last st to the first stitch, give it an extra little tug!

I love this pattern. Just a quick question.... is it okay to finish in the middle of a section. Mine measures 65cm at the moment and i would go over the measurement if i complete the whole section.
