I would love more videos like this! 😊 You explained it pretty well and easy (non native english speaker here 🤗) so i understood what you did and how. I love mechanical stuff (wish i could insert a pic here about the 60 cm tall Ironman statue i built), learning like this is easier for me. Seeing it is waaay better than reading about it (even with highly visual mind). 😅 The only thing I would do differently in the vid is the POV, so we could see what you actually look at.
Hey, i dropped my bike couple of days ago 😅 and now my shifter doesn’t go into first gear. When I try to do so, it rubs against my kick stance to prevent it from going into first gear. I pulled the shifter and it goes into first. I’m assuming its time to get a new shifter
When putting the lever back on the splined shaft does it matter the angle you put on at?I know you mentioned it affects the height of the lever but does it have to go back on the same angle or I can move it where I need it?
I have a question. At the beginning of the video. You mentioned that the shifter is bent. Did this shifter being bent prevented you from changing gears like going to first gear.
Hey sorry for the late reply, there's quite a few places, Hotbodies is pretty popular, you could also look at Sportbike Trackgear. You could also talk to the dealership!
🔧 Should I make more videos like this? Do you guys appreciate people who get to the point? Let me know in the comments below if this helped! 🔧

Thanks for the suggestion! That's a great idea, I can definitely do that next time.
This was exactly what I needed. Had a silly tip over and bent my shifter 😡 so it wont change gears. So happy now i can get back on the road

Where did you get that lever with the whole assembly? How much paid? I see just the lever itself for sale....
I got it from a friend who had a spare set for some reason and got it for free 😅😅😅

Mine has been bent for a while and I can shift just fine but you should replace it
Great video
Do I need a torque wrench for this?
What size was the hex wrench
I can't remember, but I used the kit in my bike's tool bag! The correct size should be in there.
Wow thanks for this video I was about to pay somebody $60 to do this 😅
Do you have an idea on where I can get a cowling kit? My 2018 ninja was laid over and ruined the whole left side.
