  • This is the 28th annual Halloween Haunted House walk thru.
Poison Oak Street is a haunted graveyard where rotted corpses and zombies rise from the dead. It is an intense walk thru haunted house with strobe lights, loud startling sounds, 40 animations and live actors.
This production takes about 2 weeks to set up with help from 8 good friends. The majority of the work is done 2 days before the show. Take down takes 7 hours with 8 people. Thanks god for good friends.
It takes two 60 gallon compressors to run the show. It's A LOT of air.
I build all the animatronic props and build the sound track for each one except for the 4 props from Home Depot and Spirit.
A fun Halloween spectacle for 2 nights that the community loves.
    Enjoy the show!

I wish I would have saw this earlier, I would have included it in my home Haunt review ugh! RUclips algorithm is terrible, I'm hoping the video I posted does well, I would love to do more of these videos. Fantastic work! Unbelievable set up, I really enjoyed watching, I'm sure nothing compares to seeing it up close. 3very aspect of what you did was genius!

You're such a huge talent ... not only the amazing creature designs, but the incredible animatronics, the set, the audio. And even a good job on the video. You should be back in the movies! So awesome!

Your props are the best in the industry and it makes for such an incredible yard display but the topper for me is your storyline that you have been using for several years now of what’s he building in there. For the people that come to watch your yard show I’m not sure how much of them actually have a chance to listen to the entire storyline cause I am sure that they are jumping at so many different things that you have going off but it is just making me chuckle but then I have a heart that is black. Happy Halloween and all the best to you Adam. 🎃

Thanks so much Paul. Yes the storyline is so fitting for my show. I still love it years later and have friends repeat the lines from it all the time. We have a good laugh about it. This year I built 15 new props. Big year for inspiration.

      Thanks Mark!
I built all these props except the 4 from Home Depot and Spirit.
I used to own Poison Props but now I’m retired.
I have the set down to a science now. It takes about two weeks with five people helping.
I lay out all the electrical, first, the fencing, the lighting and then the props go down.
The tear down takes seven hours to get everything, stripped down and put away. It’s crazy. I’ve been it for 28 years.

@@adamjohnston2311 thanks, that's amazing that you made those. I'm scheduled to retire next year as well . I'm contemplating buying a couple of props from Poison Props, would you recommend their reliability, and quality? And besides building some myself, can you recommend other sellers to check out! I just ordered one from Beastcraft. It'll be for my front yard, I might have some in the garage as a walk through. Thanks again 🎃

@@markhall8874 Yes. PoisonProps is good, Distortions unlimited, Unit 70 and Gore galore are also really good. Scarefactory can be risky. A lot of people don't get the props they order. He takes your money and ghosts you.

@@adamjohnston2311 thanks again, I've got a couple of Distortions products. And I've been looking at Unit 70 as well, I'm liking what I see on Poison Props, they're a little costly but if they're quality materials and durable it's worth it. Thanks 🎃
