For me it is Forklift 4, because it shows me all of my icloud drive folder, like the Good Reader folder. The other file managers like Commander One or Path Finder where not capable to do so. I was frustrated of them. I was searching something that comes close to Directory Opus 12 for Windows which is 10 years ahead of all mac file managers.
Nice! Glad that some people still like those file managers. I find myself using Finder most of the time.

@nomadic Dmitry do you know a file manager that sort by "author" "artist" like windows? because pathfinder do not even give an option for this.
I am not sure about that. Honestly, I've started using plain Finder for just about anything now :)
Could anyone please tell me, how to increase the size of file thumbnails? This solution that I found doesn't work on Mac: "Thumbnail Grid: Displays thumbnails in a grid; change the size of the thumbnails by holding Ctrl and rotating the Mouse Wheel"
I need it for photos, but thumbnails are too small in Thumb Mode, I can not see anything.

Open a window in the Finder. Select Icon view. In the Finder menu go to View > Show View Options (Command + J). You're welcome.
Unfortunately, all Mac managers I tried turn out to be pale copies of Total Commander. Out of competition.

I always found that these filecommanders are slow and buggy and tend to freeze if one side is a NAS with (AFP/SMB).
So, what solution are you using instead to access the servers? Is it FileZilla or something like that?
@@NomadicDmitry simply the finder on all of my machines up from LC to the latest M1, but I use an K6/450 with Win95b and total commander to copy and sort files, even on the mac partition of the NAS. I know about the fork, therefore only compressed files.
@@drzeissler Nice! Everyone seeks what works the best for them. Maybe NAS is indeed a different scenario.
