Blimey. Insightful. Especially about feeling safe/free within confined restrictions.

So many good points here. As a self employed like you I'm currently working on level 9 monk mode to plan my day and provide structure. It's the only way to conquer your brain I think, but it's hard especially if you work from home alone as I do atm.

Definitely man. We're tribal creatures - and that's a predisposition I don't even want to try and fight.

You hit the nail on the head Jim on all those topics, I still can feel the immense sense of freedom when I walked out of those barracks gates the day I left and that was 45 years ago but as you said you still have to check your self and keep striving for perfection because that is the military way and probably the kind of personality you are.

So true, Dave. You wouldn't have even been attracted to the Military if that wasn't an innate part of your wiring! What did you go into after the Military?

As with anything there's the good and the bad.

Spot on.. i would suggest to cut the swearing out, you're only going to alienate people from hearing your message and you're better than that.

Appreciate your kind words - but in all honesty I think it can be quite expressive when deployed with the right frequency.
