Not developing the Northern Territory so that it remains flooded out for a significant part of the year causes a supply-chain problem, making the area endemically poor. They are wasting the God given water. The area requires multiple canals and underground cisterns. Stored water is a source of wealth yet no Australian has thought of this. I am not Australian but just by listening to the report, I identified a major problem and offered a solution.
@estebancorral5151 chances are if it was as easy as talking about it they would've already done it and we live in a profit driven society if it was deemed profitable enough people/ companies would have already done it.
Please Australien Canberra government and all construction companies of Australia, let English speaking citizens of the world move to those towns in the few hours to Darwin or Cairns or Brisbane in the inlands , millions of people who have got Bachelor degree or above masters, certificates, diplomas, phds or above. Give us australian citizenships and let us flourish in government built high rises in the deserts inlands of Australia with public pools, shopping malls
