What a great video to wake up to. So glad to see you and Dobby. Thanks for sharing your journey.
Probably thought of this.. If you build a storage cabinet on the tongue it can have a slope to help with the wind . Would also be good for the water heater or propane and electrical service.
God Bless You, Your Family, and your Loved Ones.🙂
My grandpa used to say, always have two of every tool you think you need and if you can afford it, go ahead and have three.
Great progress!! Looks awesome. Glad your test drive went well.
You are doing a SUPER JOB. I love it. You and your family will have forever memories with it. Take care
I enjoy your channel!
Alright! Thanks
Can’t wait to see the finale…. Excellent Building advice as well. 🎊 💯🎊🤗
Wow this Cabin on wheels is turning out really well. You are such an example of being able to mess up and learn and continue on. I give up so many times and don’t even want to finish, but thank you for your perseverance. It will pay off👍❤️
If I was to attempt something of this magnitude adventure, brother I’d find you to for sure oversee it, I’ve seen other guys (truck houses) but I’d definitely trust your knowledge.
Using a metal cutting blade in your Sawzall makes a more precise cut
Can’t wait to watch this one all the way through. 🎉
You are too hard on yourself You are doing a terrific job Your tiny cabin looks great. All the best Take care.
Just an FYI when using that butyl tape you're supposed to leave the backing on it when you apply it down and after it's all laid out then you remove the wax paper
I looks great 👍. Can't wait for the next video.
Just recently joined the team at timberville store
I'm a big RUclips fan and loved the video
I haven't laughed so hard in a long time
Great video brother 👍👌cheers 👍🍻
this is awesome.i have an old horse trailer at my homestead in france. thinking about using the frame to build a tinyhouse on. something like you're building
Lookin good dude!
I love watching the progress.. but my OCD really spiked when I was watching you install the sheetmetal around the front and sides without lining up the ridges.
watching Luigi buld a trailer cabin is better than the game
Ciao e complimenti per il video, grazie 🐺
Sweet!! Can’t wait to see the finishing 😊
I'm subscribed and I love the channel
Such a cool project, enjoy your videos!
Love your music/soundtrack, reminds me a little bit of Mark Orton's "Nebraska" soundtrack in flavor.
Great video!
❤ GREAT
Enjoyed again, Matt
You remind ne a bit of Timmy from Truck House Life. 😊
We are best buds me and Tim
@@alaskacabinadventures how cool!
Excellent work!
Old blade on skill saw wrks great
Fun vid. Music is great
Looking good 👍 😊😊😊
Looking good nice😂😂❤❤
yay, thanks
Probably too late… for the future, put an inlet power plug on the outside wall, in case you need power via outside generator.
Use a old skill saw blade and reverse it, it will cut better and won't vibrate all over the place
Nice videos, If you had put the 2x4 under the hammer the nails pull out easier.
⚠️⚠️ heard that RV's by law, can't use screw caps on electrical wires, because they come loose with road vibration. Please use crimps and shrink wrap insulation.⚠️⚠️⚠️
Ever try a metal nibbler for cutting that?
If you really want to kill any residual mold, etc., get an ozone generator and close it up tight and let it run inside for a day or so. Do research as I am guessing at the time. You can do this at any stage of the construction. You can use o3 (ozone) in an old house, just don't have any living beings there. (Dogs, Cats, etc.).
A guy over in Russia treated the wood [studs and joists as he built the house he is working on now, the wood shouldn't get moldy and rot
You do not look like you sound. Your voice is awesome (Golden). Very rare. You look as ordinary as me. 😄❤✌
U can turn the skill saw blad backwards it will cut much better
It’s a metal cutting blade
@@alaskacabinadventures I have done it with a normal wood blade too
Amazing Project. We would like to show your work on our channel with your permission. We will add your link and your name will also be mentioned in the video. Let us know what you think
What kind of blade did you use with the circular saw?
that roofing sheet is kinda thin..is it 2mm? i had it once and the wind destroyed it..go for 3mm thick or 4mm..even better
Would that Delta 2 max power a 5000 BTU window unit A/C?
Someone told me it's better to cut roofing metal with the blade turned backwards....?
Only when you’re not using an actually metal cutting blade like I was
Next time cut your sheets upside down. That’s what I do it’s faster and it’s smoother
If you look close you’ll see I figured that out on my very last sheet I cut for the siding 😂…live and learn
Nice thank you for your videos keep it up
Oh god that tape stuff is THE WORST. I had an old boss insist we use it on an arbor thing, made me want to blow my brains out
Tongue weight horribly unbalanced, that’s going to be dangerous towing especially after all the additional weight is added when it’s done.
What actuelly happend to your tool? What a crap man! Best Regards Peter Eriksson Sweden Europe 😊😮😢!
nice but I do see a list of problem being that I'm a builder by trade. I'm not saying nothing cus you get all the know it all jumping up and down with what you do and you do lurn from your missake
OK, NOW I AM HAPPY! GREAT YOU TUBE!!!!!
FINALLY.......!
Sorry, I've had a lot on my plate!
Rare to see someone using 12V DeWalt on RUclips. Use mine daily at work and it works perfect for this sort of thing. And we ran the same sort of Inlet at our cabin. No sense in complicating things if we don't have to.
And I'm impressed, a sparky who sweeps.
AWESOME!!! Thank you!!! 👍
Nice to see you use different brands of tools. You're not just tied to one but use what works for your build and budget.
Heck yeah! Been waiting for an update on the travel cabin.
Some almost Black Queen music vibe going on. Good stuff.
Great build! Love the thinking ahead and pre drilling holes in the roof metal!🙏
Hey…I used that same Penofin on my wood benches. Boy it was stinky for the first week !😝
Like Buckley’s I guess…Stinks bad, but works good.😂 Nice build 👍
Hahaha yeah it stunk up the whole area around it for days
I take my hat off to you big undertaking for such a tiny house and enjoy your travels when the time comes 😅.
Regular skil saw blade turn it around backwards it will cut tin perfectly
It bothers me when people stop the video to tell me to subscribe but you have a good approach by sandwiching it between some good content that makes it pleasant. Good choices.
Looking fantastic, can’t wait to see when it’s finished!!!!!
Stoked about seeing the final result with this little log cabin on wheels man!!
Finally a new video, was waiting for the continuation of this series
Do you realize had you attached vertical 1x2's at all 8 corners the siding would have butted up to it with no ugly open ends? Water will blow into the openings and get behind the siding thus rotting the wood. Also, remember when pulling nails from the 2x4 mistake? Next time use the small piece of 2x4 between the hammer and long 2x4. Nails will practically fall out when pulled.
Finally, try to sell this one ASAP and start over building another correctly. Be sure to sell this one AS IS with ZERO WARRANTY. Love the music!
14:19 What's up with that motorcycle sitting by the shed? Looks like a fun project. 😀
Do You Guys In Alaska Have
Harbor Freight?
Can someone tell me how much Salmon Can I Fish Per Day In Alaska Not A Resident But Have An Alaska I.D
Greetings From Yuma Arizona I Leave Ads On Your Videos
Loving this build series mate. The 'tiny cabin' is coming along very nicely. I love the corrugated iron siding along the bottom quarter panels of the cabin. Really looking forward to seeing how you do the internal fit out.
Very similar in many ways to the guest 'bunkhouse' you did out on the main property .
This Im sure was by design 😉🤣.
All the best mate, greeting from Australia
bro you needa follow the rules of this shii measure twice cut once bro i watched u f up so many times cuz u dont do this step at all and im only 26 and ik this by heart
Great work fella, humble and honest video, the way people used to be once upon a time,
Coming along great!! Are you in touch with timmy would be great for him to give you some pointers on all the issues he had to overcome. Music fabulous! Thank you and hi to the missus and baby from northern ireland 🇮🇪 ❤
Just realized I’ve been watching your videos over a year and wasn’t subscribed, thanks for the reminder 😂
Where did you get the inlet box you are using for this cabin?
neewsflash for you son...! if you ve put oil on wood you cant paint it anymore..oil sux because sun destroys it fast..a nice colour would have been better in my opinion..those boards look bad
I love your cabins...this one is great, ready for family fun and winter adventures. I missed the info on the trailer but hoping you have some beefy tires and a great spare to get you out and back safely. I am not a builder of anything but have followed you for a few years. Always well crafted vids. I salute you and your relentless energy and talents.
Love your channel(s)! And, I’m a subscriber 😅
You could pull the ridge cap off and try to pop the seams and tuck the front under the back couldn’t you?
Us a circle saw with the blade turned backward. Those right angle grinders can kill you.
Well done brother! Just a suggestion, a side railing would be nice for the porch maybe, with log pillars that go to the roof on both corners. It would help define the space and make it look more appealing with room for a couple of chairs.
That’s exactly my plan! Thanks
Nice! Love your channel man
Dude get bigger batteries. You’re supposed to use no smaller than a 6ah battery for a grinder
if u revers the saw blade on the skill saw it will not damage the blade and will give less sparks and such
Glad you found and used a water sealer that’s not Thompson.
I case you do more metal roofs the butter tape is best if you put it on the trim first I made the same mistake as well.
You are not stupid.
How do you avoid bears?
so far so good
Looking good
Big project. I was surprised what was required for a “trailer”. I think you’re going to enjoy the results.
Looking good! Great to see the cabin drives ok.
From experience with wood on boats, I'd stick with the oil finish. Also will say that it's next to impossible to get varnish to stick to wood that's been oiled. So I've found. Maybe there are some tricks I don't know.
I'd be worried about condensation under that siding along the sides. Also about water getting in the ends, but I guess you'll seal that up too.
I just adore that you say "shore power", never heard that outside a boating context.
To funny ,i brought a 1991 honda back to life from completely dead part way through project i wish i never started it was way to much work
Next time you have to cut roofing, make a crosscut jig for that circ saw and you'll be loving life. Norman should have suggested that, but it seems he was on vacation during this build. Great project and content.
You’re doing great! To cut metal roofing use a circular saw and reverse the blade. It works great but wear eye and hearing protection!!!!
Fantastic
