In Section5 PARTNERSHIP NOT CREATED BY STATUS. The relation of partnership arises from contract and not from status; and, in particular, the members of a Hindu undivided family carrying on a family business as such, or a Burmese Buddhist husband and wife carrying on business as such are not partners in such business.........What does the clause "Burmese Buddhist husband and wife carrying on business as such are not partners in such business" mean?............ Kindly help me..
It means that according to section 5, partnership arises from contract and not from status. So, Hindu Undivided family or Burmese Buddist couple are not partners unless and untill there is a separate agreement of partnership between them. There should be a contract between them only then they can be considered as partners. I hope your doubt is clear now?

Good morning ma'am,
Your lecture & way of explanation of Act is very good.
Small suggestion regarding voice clarity- you please put microphone static, instead of holding in hand.So that voice clarity may enhance& impress the audians.
Thank you.
Madam you should select at least one language
