I forgot to mention, rest the jewel stick on the wood to keep the angle consistent. Thats why I tape the board and the lower part of my jewel stick.

Excellent idea. I get them to what feels sharp but not sharp enough then I start wasting time.

Thanks for the insight. I am looking forward to your thoughts on the Great White. I wonder how they will work with a 50lb recurve? How often do you think they will get a complete pass through on shots 15 yds and in?
