@@QF_Dan72 Nice, I just got to the top of the mountain without assist mode and realised I still need all strawberries, all B and C sides, all hearts and to do the last 2 chapters. I feel pain.
@@QF_Dan72 same, using a non-notched controller. the sensitivty on whether i dashed right or up-right was super frustrating. I just couldn't the keyboard controls down.
This is one of the best final levels in all of video games, putting you through the ultimate test that tests all the skills you gained over the course of your adventure up the mountain.
the suspense when theres the 3000m left was just soooo.. like u can tell in this playthru too, there's an intensity to it. you know you're so close. its a little intoxicating
I tried to take a screenshot of the art of her sitting on the mountain, but that caused my freakin game to crash so I’m glad I found this and am able to see what would’ve happened
12:16 has such a feeling of "Youre so close" and "Fire up, this is gonna be tough." to it, and the 3000m flashing on screen really ties it all together i love this game
i was literally crying when i reached the top of the mountain. The amount of rage, pain, failure, anxiety and doubt in exchange for this ending is simply sweet and victorious. I really like how the game started counting down from 30 to show how close you are to the end. One of the best game ever made
When i beat this game for the first time, i was crying due to the amount of deaths and fails i have to went through. Reaching the top of the mountain was something so sweet and victorious. I only got like 38 berries and when the characters hated the pie i made, my mood was ruined and i'm completely speechless. I feel like once the credit was shown, the game should've return back to the main menu before unlocking the epilogue. I was on the verge of crying but then this scene ruined everything.
The moment the wind changes direction and suddenly rises upwards, like it's helping you. Like the mountain itself wants you to triumph. I got so emotional I needed a pause at that moment.
its so funny to me that some people got an anticlimactic ending bc they didnt get any strawberries madeline is COMPELLED to make a strawberry pie of the strawberries she ACTIVELY AVOIDED
I've been HOURS on 7:44 just because I didn't remember you could move that block. I swear I got to the last jump after the UP arrow and didn't know what to do at that point. I'm feeling like an idiot now! lol hahahahahahaha
Ohh nooooo my boy how could you go through the whole level without skipping any dialogue and then skip the piano line as Madeline looks on from the summit????? The most beautiful bit of the level by far?? Goddamn that is shocking
Like reaching the summit for the very first time and it’s a unique piano line that reverberates in you, with modifications that leave no room for progress because you’ve gone as high as you can. So so satisfying to hear that and take a breath as you process not only a fantastic level and exhilarating race for the peak but also just an incredible game overall
All of the screams and pain my thumb had to endure from sitting on my dpad was worth it to get to see this game’s ending, one of the most beautiful games I’ve ever played

I don't know if it's the PS4 controller I was using or my own lack of directional precision, but I really struggled with those change direction maneuvers. Anyway, thanks for making this video! :) I wanted to see the story and such but also how the platforming was done.
it hurts to see him just fly through after i wasted hours on these (maybe because i was using keyboard) but i am sure even though i had a keyboard i wouldnt be able to play this well ❤🎉😂
Madeline: falls once
The entire mountain: is 10 times harder now
the path to the summit from reflection is just harder
The thing that sucks about this game is you only get to experience it for the first time once.
That, and how much I suck at it.
That’s every piece of media
@@DrewLevitt Underrated reply, I suck at this game too, But I still had fun with it
i can only can cry and scream at this game for only the first time

Those bloody feathers got me emotional. Awful, awful, awful mechanic. Almost ruined the game for me.
@@jmckendry84 i loved the feathers, hated the dynamic red shit at chapter 3 its the only chapter i gave up on strawberries on

Took me two friggen days to get past that

Climbing celeste mountain was challenging, but, I'd have to admit that I loved the view of the sky from the top of the mountain.
14:44 is just way too tough on joysticks
