An inventor never stops improving! I can't wait until the day I can afford one to take out to the claims in Washington!!

So the gold drop can't catch flour gold? What if the sample was more fine gold than big dumb gold? Then no need for the $2k gold drop, just buy a mag sluice?

Howdy Johan, since innovating the current Goldrop model with the Vortex Spinner, which is what you have, the Magnet Sluice has been discontinued because it is no longer needed. Using water to mix the trap contents is now accomplished by the Vortex Spinner. This has reduced water flowing through Goldrop retaining the flour gold in the trap and not washing it out into the tailings. To operate the Goldrop Vortex Spinner with sand, set the drop water flow to .2 GPM with a trickle of water to wash dirt into the trap. With the dirt fluidized in the trap. the dirt added into the funnel will displace dirt in the trap pushing it vertically up the trap column and out to the tailings. The reduced use of water with the Vortex Spinner allows for more and smaller gold to drop into the jar and remain in the trap. Processing 1/8"- will require the upper mixing water valve to be 1/2 open or so to help fluidize the larger matter. As I experiment with new ideas and improve performance, Goldrop will continue to evolve.

I heard that this thing cost 1,200 bucks why is it so expensive if that's true I'm not sure how long does it take you to run a 5 gallon bucket it doesn't look like it's fast and it's only used for paydirt or concentrates another question is how long would it take you to run 40 buckets on a claim for 1-day dig it just doesn't look like anything that would work here in Southern California most of the gold is fine it would float right out of that jar I'm pretty sure maybe do another video on just find gold micros only and run maybe 45 gallon buckets or something time it to see if it takes more than 10 minutes

It's $2000 for the system. A yard of paydirt, 25-5 gallon buckets a day can be fed through the GOLDROP. Any gold that floats out of the GOLDROP is captured by the magnetite lining the bottom of the Magnet Sluice. Recent testing finds the GOLDROP recovers microscopic gold no other device can and recovers more gold than using mercury. The GOLDROP is as close to 100% efficiency, better than any other gold processor can achieve! Steve Darney, a GOLDROP owner, lives in Washington, Maine. Steve mines his 10 acres fore the glacial till deposited when the ice age ended and the glaciers melted. Every other process he tried failed. now he recovers flour gold like crazy! You can read the test results report on my website, www.sluicegooseindustries.com
