I love your videos John! The gold you recovered is beautiful. From my experience cleaning the 100- to 200- gold I know oh too well how a little looks like it should weigh something, but collected and bottled up it will sure weigh then! Keep it Golden!
If I were to salt the sand with gold, which I did not do, I would have added gold that had weight to it to make it more impressive in recovery. As it is, to recover large, visible gold flakes, "Cape D nuggets", from the Cape D sand that does not register on a scale that you have never seen before is a testament to the efficiency of the Goldrop/ Magnet Sluice system to capture flour gold that is not recoverable by other systems, www.sluicegooseindustries.com.
@@sluicegoosegoldrop2821 iwas just kinda joking but ive been going down there for years and catching smaller gold than that with my gold cube, weighable amounts and they dont show up on the camara as good as yours did. And im not have trouble catching smaller gold so i doubt im missing the bigger?
The flour gold recovered from the beach sand did not have enough mass to register on the scale. That is a testament to the efficiency of the Goldrop to recover tiny gold that is visibly gold so small, it takes a lot of this gold to tip the scale even .1 grams! No other device captures this tiny gold! That's why the Goldrop is great for beach mining and for mining glacial till too! www.sluicegooseindustries.com.
Great job all around fam. Cool setup indeed. Keep on having fun getting that au and living the dream. Gold Squad Out!!!

Why did the scale register 0:00 when the gold was added?
