I really enjoyed your detailed explanation of your Goldrop classifier, very nice job. I have seen at least two other types similar to yours. I copied one a little similar called Quicksand Gold concentrator and added a jar to the bottom to capture the gold that falls to the bottom.
So, I have a 5-gallon bucket of minus 50 mesh concentrates in need of processing; do I have to do a cleanup after every scoop? I don't see any place for the tailings to go, or is the tailings another procedure? It seems awfully slow, even compared to a blue bowl, and the blue bowl flushes its tailings without another procedure. I'm out!
You can process the 5 gallon bucket of cons through Goldrop, nonstop, in 30 minutes. No need to cleanup after every scoop. I doubt you can do that using a blue bowl. The tailings are discharged and end up in the first bucket. Switch it out when it becomes 1/2 full of tailings. Check out some of my other Goldrop videos. There are over 90 of them searching Goldrop with more on the way! To decide your out after watching 1 Goldrop video because you don't understand its operation would cause me to investigate further. Send me some of your cons for a video test. Done that with gold miners before they bought one.
Just a thought, would it be better to attach the collection jar with a clamp system rather than threaded? Experience tells me that with more and more use, any inadvertent collection of grit along with wear and tear, will make it harder and harder to screw it on or off.
So... you have to classify your paydirt,, then run it through the golddrop,, then collect the cons. Then pan the cons to get the gold. Am I missing something? Why go through this very expensive step to do what we were doing in the first place? I really am asking if I'm missing something.
So did the gold get stuck in the discharge tailings elbow or when you flushed things through the bottom.can you do a video of where it gets stuck so I know where to watchout for.im thinking about buying this in the next few months
The washings of the 2mm dirt deposited the gold on the ledge I believe. The washing of the .5mm sand knocked off the larger gold from the internal ledge of the exit elbow and into the jar with the smaller gold. I emptied the chamber and found no gold in the chamber on the ledge so not much of an issue. A minor modification I have planned will eliminate the ledge and the issue. Thanks for being interested. www.kellycodetectors.com/catalog/sluice-goose-industries-goldrop-paydirt-separator
@@stevelemleyjr8579 Howdy Steve, your GOLDROP was shipped yesterday. Puyallup is only 200 miles north so you should have it this week no problem! I have more detailed videos coming using Goldbay Paydirt to post too will help in learning the GOLDROP procedures and operation.
I have micron sized powder that dropped out of solution in my Aqua Riga process. XRF says it has powdered copperas base metals in the mix to separate out from the silver . Can this machine do it?
Copper has a density of 8.96 gm/cm3. Silver has a density of 10.49 gm/cm3. I believe these metals are too close in density to each other to be efficiently separated by the elutriation process of the GOLDROP.
The GOLDROP is patented in the US . I have filed additional patent applications through the world . The terms “GOLDROP “ and “Sluice Goose” are also Trademark protected through the US Patent Office.
What an incredibly well thought out device. Thank you for sharing!

Great thorough instruction video !
Thanks Shane! I hope it answers any questions you may have! If not, ask away!
@@sluicegoosegoldrop2821 Hello. can your goldrop hatch all micron gold from black sand concentrate?

Exactly 🤔
No, not really. It washes your dirt real good before you pan it anyway!

How long is the process time?
One can process a yard of 1/8" classified pay dirt through the GOLDROP per day.

Respected sir, I want to ask you how to find such a device or can I manufacture it myself, thanks
