Something similiar actually happened in real life. A man was taking photos on a deserted beach somewhere in North America when he got the bright idea to climb up a cliff face to get a better view.... Yeah, he fell and smashed his lower body to pieces. He spent three days dragging his body up the cliffs to a path before he was found and by that time he was almost dead. "I shouldn´t be alive`" made a whole episode about it.

the exact episode is called "Climb Out Of Hell" from Season 5. It actually happened in British Columbia.

This also happened at the Maryhill winery in Washington, a kid was working and fell from a cliff and spent days in the rain crawling to help. Unfortunately hes paralyzed now.

@@HateshWarkio The fish hook wasn't the only thing he was going through when he passed out though, he also had the whole skinned hand that seagulls were trying to eat daily, a shattered hip which was causing internal bleeding, as well as all of his wounds soaking and sautéing in salt water.
So no, it wasn't just a "little pain"
Also I forgot to mention his head was bashed into a rock multiple times, and that would make it even harder to stay conscious, I'm surprised he was able to remain conscious at all with all the possibilities of brain trauma / damage.

This man handles a broken hip, sliced hand etc. But one fish hook also knocks him out. I understand the exhaustion and everything but come on. Also, I love your videos!!! Keep them coming!!
It wasn't just one fish hook, it was one fish hook ON TOP of all the other things you just listed.
Think of it like this, it wasn't just one fish hook that knocked him out, it was one fish hook, multiple bashes of the head into sharp / jagged rocks (Possible brain damage there.), a broken hip which was causing internal bleeding, a ripped open hand that seagulls were eating while he was awake and asleep, as well as all the wounds he had endured soaking in salt water, and if you've ever had salt on an open wound, you know how absolutely eye tearing, death wishingly painful that can be, especially since one of his open wounds was on his hands and fingers, aka one of the places that has the most nerve endings in the human body, meaning you'd feel it *a lot* more than anywhere else.
All these 1/2 person survival movies like 47meters, pool, cliff, tower, solo, nowhere... Etc makes me want a "touching spirit bear" movie
You know what'd be a cool horror movie idea? Someone Getting a bunch of "How to Beat Horror Movie" video creators together to figure out how to beat a REAL supernatural entity! The sequel could be a stranded situation lol

Torn hand, shattered pelvis, head cracked into a rock. My dude, just call it fuckin’ quits lol
I was in a really bad car crash when I was 28 and shattered both hips. When they were being careful to get me out the pain was so bad I nearly passed out, 2 more seconds and I would have. A fishing hook would be a massage compared to that.
I had an acetabular fracture when I was 17 due to an accident, I was so groggy that I thought my hip was dislocated. I had to crawl up the steep creek bank bc the driver and other passenger were concussed. To this day I don’t know how I did it.
What about a fishing hook on top of the shattered bones and internal bleeding? Thats what everyone here is failing to understand, the fishing hook itself wasn't the only issue / thing that made him pass out, you have to understand it was also the shattered hip causing internal bleeding, a ripped open hand that seagulls were actively trying to eat everyday, and all those wounds soaking in *salt water.*
Oh I forgot to mention all the head trauma from his head bashing into rocks, that probably didn't help him stay conscious too well either.
i cant be the only one to think the ending was just a hallucination..

These survivalists films trigger such a stress response in me
Because they are rooted in reality, if we arent careful this might not just be a horror movie like all the scary ghosts and goblins, this could actually happen to you or me, that's what makes these survival horror movies so terrifically terrifying, they could actually happen, sure the grudge and the ring is scary but we know that no long haired woman is actually gonna come crawling out of a well and kill us in 7 days, this however, we know this could truly happen to us if we aren't careful, if we go to a beach and lose our footing on a cliff (Which is very possible) we could live out this exact scenario, but it wouldn't just be a horror movie, we would actually be living it.
It’s like skiing. You either go with another person (ideal) or make sure there is someone waiting for your message that you got safely off that beach.(mountain)

You can see the ledge beneath the cliff, he cant. Even if he could if he missed the cliff, he's dead. He made the right decision to count and tume the waves.

I once took scuba diving classes and i learnt one thing - NEVER go to an ocean (or a place somewhat deserted and far from civilazation) completely alone. I mean, if you are underwater and you run out of oxygen, you'll probably die. In this case, going surfing alone comes to the same terms (a heatstroke or a foot injury can be fatal). I totally agree he acted like an idiot

I for one would be interested in a playlist of solo survivalist content. I would bet there are more meaningful groupings you could come up with, like deathgames. Could help rake in some monitisation of past content and help with navigation.
