the fact that none of the beasts ever speak during this and all wear masks hiding their whole faces makes me believe they might've had their mouths sewn shut or might just have been rendered unable to speak in some way

Thats what I was thinking. Its also odd how they know the rules of the game, but the survivors don't. So that tells me, that someone gave them more information from the start (probably at a cost aka their tongues).

I honestly love the thought put into this death game, it just makes me feel more intrigued in the whole thing. I'm sad that girl killed her guardian though, he seemed sweet despite killing people
My thing is were the beast killers before hand or kidnapped like the girls like why were they put in boxes like the girls if they wanted to be there it doesn’t make sense I think the beast were random men stolen and forced to kill I mean all their kills seemed kinda sloppy for killers at least real ones enjoy the hunt these guys seemed stressed and like they haven’t killed before instead using brutality to kill instead of efficiency

I wish they utilized the beasts more, even just one scene where the a beast saves a player from another beast, and the player just goes "hey buddy" would've made this a 10/10.
The beast should’ve used the universal language of crouching up and down over and over to establish a team.

The pairing of the “beasts” and the “beauties” are actually kind of a genius that separates this movie as “just another generic death game movie” kind of wish they had more of an emphasis where they used it to their advantage to make the plot more interesting.
I was thinking the same thing lol. Actually super interesting and refreshing.
I think it would of been easy to bollock it up but dang it, I am willing to see that movie.
They should have it build on that concept more, but nope the bad guys just take slightly longer to kill the girls

I wish they did something more with the MCs partner. Of ALL the "death game" movies, THIS is the one without a stupid romantic sub plot or an "Unlikely friendship" included between the main character and their "other half"? They could have done so much with it, though I do get why they wanted to focus more on the "beauties"
This is really a super creative movie that fleshes out the killers. They might not be just evil. They are jn the same position as the girls just with different rules. It looks like one of the beasts tried to save the other by taking out his eye and letting him live. Then that beast came back for his beauty regardless
Yeah I think the beast were also victims they seemed really scared to die if that’s the case why join a game where you have to keep two people alive to survive and then they were brought in boxes like the girls why if agreed to it doesn’t make sense I genuinely believe everyone in the game was a victim of this group being forced to kill to survive
If done right, this would actually make for a pretty interesting game mode for Dead By Daylight.
A 10 payer mode where five Killers have an assigned Survivor to protect, and to win you need to take out the rival’s Survivors by working with your partner and planning a strategy.
At this point you should make another channel called "villain summary" this time helping the villains win

I feel bad for the beast linked to the 6th beauty, he showed that he was her partner, by not attacking her, waving, even a whole thumbs up, just for her to kill him, Ik sometimes the situation is extremely stressful. BUT SHE EVEN ASKED IF HE WAS HER PARTNER AND DID THE THUMBS UP, she wasn’t acting out of fear, maybe out of stupidity but was not pressured

yeah, the only reason i would see it as valid for her to kill him would be if the last pair had to kill each other, which she didn't confirm, letalone thinking of the possibility. she had everything to lose by killing him and shes lucky she didnt cause her own death by killing him, and lucky that she escaped before encountering the last killer, who she wouldve been defenseless against, especially since it wouldve been a 2v1

As a epileptic, having multiple seizures within a short time and her not taking her medication can kill you also know as status epilepticus. Causing prolonged seizures
15:47 man, it’s already clear at this point, that if a “beauty” dies, her “beast” dies. But from other indications, it’s likely that if the “beast” dies, his “beauty” doesn’t. The way to beat it, seems to have one killer standing, and since the killers seem to prioritize each other over the girls, the earlier plan of pulling all the killers into one area, is the best plan. It may even be just a competition between the killers, where the girls’ deaths are not needed.
Imagine taking an innocent stroll in the park and then you hear Cinema Summary’s voice echoing in the clouds saying: “Ok. this guy is about to have the worst day of his life”
Or just stand there and hope nothing happens

@@Lolgoodbyeiquit Unfortunately, that was your biggest mistake. You were transported to woods where you're being chased down by giant radioactive sentient spiders whos only goal is to kill you. But the faster you run, the more your legs heats up and after only 3 seconds of running, your leg will explode. In addition, stealth is your biggest asset here. It's much easier and safer to hide behind the trees instead
if you got stuck in the elevator with cinema summary, he would eat you within 30 seconds saying it was for nourishment

My solurion to the issue of being watched would be to scoop the other eye out of the dead girl and check if that has a camera too, if not, just close or cover whichever of your eyes corresponds with the wired one on the other girl. It seems highly unlikely that the game designers would’ve thought to alternate the camera eyes on the different girls
Best way to win this game is, after you figure out the whole beauty and beast concept and that they are your partner, team up! After teaming up use the beauty as bait to lure in both the beauties or their beasts then attack. If you know someone is your partner you should work together to survive, everyone else be damned. What is important is staying alive, forsake your morals and friendships until after you're free. You may lose your friend but you can make new friends.
Was literally so angry when she killed her corresponding beast…..just….WHY¿ it didn’t make any sense to me . On two separate occasions that same beast had been docile and harmless to her, she should’ve used context clues and assumed he was her beast. Maybe they aren’t allowed to communicate with the beauty’s using words as it might be against the rules I’m assuming, but he literally waved at her…they could have teamed up. Also want to know what happened to the end girl and her beast since he clearly probable lived as well.
It's easy to analyze their situations when your heart is not beating tens of times the regular rate lol but the trauma of seeing the man throw an axe into the back of her previous ally probably overrode critical thinking.

@@kpamii when they first encounter each other and he waves at her, he fights off a different beast, that beast ends up gouging his eye out, thus disrupting the link they have to rack together.
Not only that but why did he let her kill him in the first place, he stopped an attack from the girl at the start just by grabbing it, why did he just stand there and do nothing to defend himself

Would like to point out following birds to find water is not as smart as most think. The birds could simply be flying back to nest, to a hunting spot, gathering nesting materials, etc.

Ikr this has so much potential to be really good none of the players were bad guys they were all in a bad situation which makes it so much more interesting would’ve been nice to actually let the beast talk with their partner idk just feels like they tried more to make a shocking plot twist than a fun movie
Hopefully with this if a sequel comes out they’ll explore that scenario more

8:00 the person was actually helping him by gouging his eye AND sparing him instead of killing him so he can escape the game yet beast 6 went on to look for beauty 6 hoping to get to her before she gets killed, And he wanted to help her yet she killed him without a second thought ... Concept was pretty interesting for a death game movie. Would had been more interesting if it required more cooperation between the beast and beauty imo. Maybe later revealing that the beast are actually the beauty's lover but disfigured and mute as a plot twist at the end.
Ikr, the concept is so good I want to create a game based on it. They have to make the movie shitty and put out plotholes, would've been cooler if they could incorporate more of the beauty and the beast fairytale. 😭
I thought they also kidnapped their boyfriends or husband and those were their beasts since thats how the story goes if i remember it correctly
It feels like an experiment rather than a game. If it was a game, the Beauties would have been told some of the rules at least. I think it was an experiment to try and induce stockholm syndrome, and try to get the Beauties to actively seek out their guardian, despite it going against all common sense.
@@jardex2275 Actually after the first fight between Beasts I thought it was going to end up with a setup of maybe 1 beast becoming the boss protecting the beauties while being cruel himself. Once it was made clear that the beasts die if their beauty dies, I was really hoping the realization between the 3 beauties that they were rivals and not teammates would lead to them seeking out and teaming up with their beasts for the rest of the movie. Definitely some cool concepts with missed opportunities.

*Your link with your partner gets severed and you could escape, proceeds to continue the game and protect her partner anyway.
*Your beauty partner takes your hatchet off your hand, lets her kill you anyway.
Dude was a KING, such a shame he got killed by the one he tried his best to protect. I enjoyed this movie want to see a sequel of this but using the unique dynamic more between the beauty and the beast.

as someone who we are pretty sure has seizures it definitely depends on how bad they are. It goes from like I just want to take a nap and act like a 4 year old who hasn’t had one to being unreasonably stubborn and physically crying even though I have no reason to. What I do want to point out is that pretty much any seizure with motor issues will still have motor issues coming out. Someone doesn’t have a seizure with motor involvement pass out and be able to do this. Hell no one has a seizure and is completely fine after. Seizures have 3 separate stages they before during and after. Only if it was a type that is very rapid after a trigger she would most likely know if she was going to have one and what her triggers are unless this is something caused by the the electrical implant.

I’m from Japan but I lived in Australia for a couple years. It’s massive, there’s no landmarks in the bush and it’s easy to get lost. Being dropped in the middle of Australia is roughly like being dropped in the Sahara desert. With the population density being so low, you’re not finding any civilisation in a death game

@@SkinSexi I'm from Australia, a huge bush walker/ hiker and also volunteer at national parks. I can confirm, park rangers tell people not to wander off the trail as you can be lost a few seconds from trails. This forest is far more sparse then most forest around so pick a direction and keep following the sun and there is a chance they could find a small town but those chances are still very slim. If it was the proper bush or the desert in the center then no way in hell would they find anything.
Edit: If it's deep outback before desert as the movie suggests then you've got even less chance.

It's literally in the capital of Australia. plus canberra has a population of around 500,000 people. If the death game participants were to run away, they would have found civilisation quite quickly.
Cinema Summary is the one person you wouldn’t want in your death game. A smart mind is the most dangerous weapon.

As a person with epilepsy I can confirm we all see through someone else’s eyes when we have seizures.
As a fan of Dead By Daylight this movie gave me the same vibes as the game and I get real excited and was thinking that it would have the same premise as the game but once the second killer was introduced I was like, "Hold up, this is a killer battle royale?" Loved the movie.

Also, turning on each other and playing the game is actually a terrible strategy. The people organizing the death game can't afford to let any of them go, because then they could alert the authorities to the existence of the death game. So the right strategy is to all work together to break the sensors, escape, then go to the cops and get the people who run the death game arrested and prosecuted.
agreed, any sicko who would go to such lengths to set all this up cannot allow any of them to survive and report this, so presumably they either kill the "winner" or "winners" or they just keep them prisoner and make them play this game again and again until they die

This would've been a fantastic idea if executed a little better. Instead of having Kayla kill her Partner, she should've realized that they were partners and he would help her, and kind of use that to defend her and her friend.
As soon as I realized that I was paired up with a killer, that man is my friend, brother and my goddamn daddy all in one. He needs help? I come in swinging and stabbing. I need help? He'll come and do the same thing to help me. Simple.
I just want to point out that she did realise he was her partner and killed him deliberately despite that knowledge.
Just saying, she didn't lack the understanding of your proposed tactics, she just valued her duty to her teammate higher.
Honestly this feels like the easies death game to beat to me at least from the beauty side now the beast has a little more challenge ahead of him

She could've used a makeshift eye patch in order to block her eye which would most likely not prohibit the visions of the killers view, getting rid of the eye camera without losing her advantage.
she got rid of her eye because of the sensors. The eyepatch would have done nothing lol
There were sensors that were clearly established she gets to close to releases a disorienting frequency that could possibly kill her or knock her out with prolonged exposure

For the eyeball part, it’s literally the easiest fix ever. You can literally be a pirate and just cover your eye with something. Wrap some cloth around that eye and simple. Yes, you’ll be at a disadvantage but I’ll rather have less vision than the enemy having constant sight at me
It's a sensor, not just a camera dumbass. You'd have to disable it and the gamemaster probably had trackers as well. You wanna let a sadistic lunatic have access to your location?
The beasts can’t see you, only the game creators can. All you’d do is make them not be able to watch you later.

Was there ever a moment where one of the Beasts died and his corresponding beauty had her head blown up? If not, then theoretically all the beauties could team up and win. You w9uld definitely have to test it on someone you knew wasnt your ally to be safe.
From what I saw only 1 beast was actually killed by a beauty and it was the one with the messed up eye but it's safe to assume since he dies if she dies it's the same the other way if his eye was smashed by the other beast
The corresponding beauty can shield against her beast, while the other beauty goes to town with him. But then it will be called beast and the beast. Lol
@@rayburks7059 Just because losing their assigned beauty was a loss condition for the beasts doesn’t mean losing the beast they were assigned to is a loss condition for the beauties.
if they assumed the main girl died when her eye went offline, why wouldn’t they assume the same of the killer who they actually saw being attacked by another killer?
Also, a game that has asymmetric sides like this one will usually have more complicated or difficult win conditions for the powerful side (in this case the beasts) and simpler or easier ones for the weaker side (the beauties).
Plus, if both were life linked to their partner, there would be no reason to have the beasts be clearly distinguished as the aggressors, they could just be thrown in as regular guys and it would just be a battle royale in teams of two.
Lastly, the beasts seemed to know the rules going in, but the beauties had to figure them out mid game. If the beauties had the same insta-death loss condition the beasts have, what would be the reasoning behind telling one group but not the other?

One of my sisters was born with a cataract in her eye and so only had vision in one eye... but only recently had an eye surgery done which inadvertently gave her site in the one eye... It was the first time I learned you can't see in 3D without both eyes and that's difficult to comprehend!

I’m surprised the girls didn’t try covering their faces with makeshift cloth. At the point where they found out the guy was looking at faces, I thought they were going to use the machete to cut fabric or sacks to make bandanas.
Since they looked at faces, it likely meant that they didn’t remember or know what clothes they wore. And unless the girl looks completely different due to hair style or color, the killer would take a moment to hesitate.
Once the blonde girl took the machete I figured that plan was a bust.

So, they figured out that the beasts need their assigned beauty, but was there any proof that the beauties needed their assigned beast? The girls killing each other is a terrible idea if they don’t know that for certain, because if they don’t need their assigned killer to survive, then working together to take out all the killers is a better strategy.
Thinking about the situation as a game, this would be an asymmetric multiplayer like a competitive Dead by Daylight. The beasts start with big advantages; they have weapons, know the rules going in, and physically outmatch the beauties, so their win condition is more difficult, both eliminating other players and protecting their assigned beauty, who is resistant to their help. Conversely, the beauties begin at a massive disadvantage, they’re unarmed, know nothing, and are weaker than the beasts, so their win condition should be much simpler. If I had to guess, all they needed to do was survive. That gives them the option of working together. Only one killer can win, so they are enemies, but if any number of victims can win, teamwork becomes the best strategy, because, as the movie showed, a group of victims were capable of overtaking the individual killers.
This is true but he mentioned in the video that killing a presumably weaker girl is easier than killing a beast. If it were me, I would teamed up with the other girls to kill a beast not associated with any of us, and then killed them once their adrenaline faded and exhaustion/relief kicked in. That's 3/4 beasts at once with mine still roaming the streets
@@thisismywill *on their own. Killing one of the other girls is easier than killing a beast… on their own. Killing a beast as a group is a much less daunting task, especially once the girls started picking up weapons. Betraying the group at any given time is a terrible idea, because one, the other girls could overpower the betrayer, and two, if the betrayer succeeds, she’s now alone and likely wounded when the next killer finds her. Remaining loyal to the group unless sh!t goes sideways hard has way more benefits and fewer risks than betraying the group and/or going solo. The only real risk of the team strategy is being betrayed, but if everyone is aware of that possibility, it’s unlikely to actually happen. I know that reasoning sounds backwards, but that’s what happens when people are faced with the prisoner’s dilemma in real life the vast majority of the time.

@@-TurkiFaisalMAlAyesh if the game runners thought beauty 6 died when her implant went offline, they should’ve thought the same thing when beast 6’s implant went offline right at the beginning, but they didn’t execute beauty 6 at that point.
This death game was filmed in the outskirts of Canberra, not far from the suburbs where I live. To think that there were literally killers roaming around not far from me in the death game Cinema Summary would breakdown is quite crazy.
I'm so glad I paused the video and went and watched the movie first it was so good. I also cracked up when it got to the blonde lady because I already knew you was siding with her. Which to me winning the game that way seems like you just going to keep getting locked in. I'd love to see a sequel with the crazy girl that survived being a meance.
At 16:58 you can see that six notches are in the dudes arm. I’m pretty sure that means that he’s her guardian (plus they were both in the boxes labelled 6)
man those are the neatest seizures I've ever seen lmao. she just stares into space and goes to sleep for a few minutes. and then she can get up and run around immediately like her brain didn't just go completely off the rails...it's almost like the director was more worried about it being pretty and plot-convenient than an actual problem.
That's how some seizures work. I'm a teacher, and one of my students has seizures where she's just non responsive for 5 minutes, staring off into space. Literally nothing will get her to snap out of it. Not all seizures involve falling to the ground and thrashing around, like most movies show.
Yes, they only depicted absence seizures which is strange. Also they made it into a sort of power with the seeing the other POV which is odd. You're right though, I'd be at least a little tired of I'd just had an absence seizure and then had to go and run away or fight, it's kind've stupid that they included it with massive plot holes
some seizures work like that. the muscles contract and the person freezes, staring into space for seconds or minutes until recovering.
But I have seizures similar to that when i forget to take my medication... except mine are even less significant, I don't fall down, I can stay standing up while having one, I'm just very wobbly, and then I can continue on like nothing happened afterwards. What you are forgetting is that after you have taken medication consistently for a long time that dulls your seizures, it changes the severity of your seizures if you ever come off of it. My original seizures before my medication lasted a lot longer and involved me thrashing my arms and legs, but now if I forgot to take my meds and had one, it is shorter and i don't thrash my arms or legs. Obviously this is my own experience and people with lesser or more severe forms will have different ones.

Haven't finished watching, but due to the fact her eye is linked to one guy, he waved, and they are called beauty and beast. Each girl is linked with one of the beasts and it is a death game of serial killers and the last pair. If a beauty dies so too does the beast. That is my current theory.
I was mostly right, the ye thing was a fluke with her epilepsy only. The rest I was right though.

The sensors might be emitting a signal inside the arena that causes you to not get the sound meaning that getting past the sensors will still trigger the sound, this way the designers could have made sure escaping is not possible that way.
There were a lot of things you seemed to have missed in this video.
1. There was no evidence that there were only six beasts in the woods. It's a classic German tank problem. Kayla should have asked each girl about their corresponding number and try to estimate the number of beasts there were. For all she knew, there could have been eight or even ten beasts.
2. There was no evidence that killing a beast would also kill the beauty. Nobody tried to confirm this theory, nor did anyone even _mention_ it. If this theory proved true, it would have allowed the beauties to team up. In fact, there is a very good chance that this theory _is_ true. There were only 12 screens shown from the game master's room, and all six of the beauties were seen in the movie. Beast 6 presumably killed the beast he was fighting, but none of the girls shown died from that.
3. Couldn't the beauties have just... held each other hostage? Once they figured out who their corresponding beasts were, they could protect the other girls from their specific beast by allowing themselves to be held hostage. If they encountered a beast that they didn't know, they would have a numerical advantage. Of course, this doesn't guarantee against backstabbing, but there was no reason for Rose to kill the friend, since Rose is shown to not be completely cold-blooded, as she didn't kill Kayla as well. Sacrificing the friend was a move uncharacteristic of Rose (except stress, yada yada). Either that, or the script writers gave Kayla some god-tier plot armor.

she had the worst condition, somehow managed to meet her killer first while having a seizure, gets saved by him, and other randos dont murder her even though they think she killed the other girl? she also had a glitch where she could see others including her best friend? lol the girl is living breathing plot armor.
1. Didn't he said "at least" ? And I disagree, because when Kayla realized they were one beast per girl the girls were already all in a stressful situation that would make them lie at each other to survive. And before she realized the rules they were no reason to think they were as much beasts than girls, because in a lot of death game there is more survivors than killers.
2. The thing is that we have to think about the point of view of the survivor, the survivor DOESN'T see the screen and DON'T see what we see on screen. The logical way to think about that for her is that killing anyone from the duo would kill their ally and because like I said, the time she realized the rules the girls were already almost against each other, I couldn't see her killing a beast easily alone and except the scared girl who wouldn't be a lot of help, I don't see a lot of other girls who would have helped her. Also, her plan was mainly to save the other girls.
3. This is the point I agree with

Hint 1: the first killer was beast 6 and the person we follow is beauty 6 and i doubt they are numbered the same for a reason
Hint 2: when the second girl died around the same time the pig masked killer died
Final hint: a killer helped hide a survivor
these three things help me peace together that if a survivor dies the killer with the same number dies
the numbers represent teams and i bet only one team can survive this death game
with this at this time there are at most 5 killers left standing
One thing that bugged me here: I'm pretty sure the man with the sickle was Rose's beast. In the final shot of all the screens, it shows that Rose's beast is dead. There's actually nothing in the movie that indicates a beast dying kills the beauty, only vice versa.
