Hi gentlemen, a lot of us eat breakfast food for dinner on occasions. Omelet served with hash browns (or whatever side you want), toast and either coffee or tea. Good stuff. ❤
Omelettes can have whatever additives and spices you like. Me, I like onions, bell peppers and spinach, with some shredded cheese and milk added in. Some potatoes and toast on the side. Satisfying.
Americans would typically have toasted buttered bread to eat with their omelette. Possibly put a fruit jam or jelly one the toast. You all would have roti. Very similar!👍👍
Personally, I like omelettes that add cheese, meat, and veggies inside... Basically, you get the eggs cooking and setting up in a circular pan with some butter. Then on one half/side, you add diced vegetables [tomatoes, bell peppers, mushrooms, olives, etc.], some chopped or sliced pre-cooked meat, and some grated cheese. Then you fold the other half of the cooked omelette over the top of the side with the added ingredients, so the cheese all melts, and the veggies cook, and it's all kind of self-contained on the inside of the omelette... Yum!
This is pretty routine for my family on the weekends. In fact I recently made a 10 egg French Creole omelet. I would be remiss if I didn't serve the omelets without sour dough bread. Naan would be just as good.
I'd bet an array of cheeses from around the world...served with a basic cracker/biscuit..would be interesting for them! Swiss, Gouda, Cheddar, White Cheddar, Extra Sharp Cheddar, Brie, Munster, Bleu, Camebert, and so on. I LOVE mixed cheese omelettes! Some onion, green pepper, garlic, pepper, and a few different cheeses to get a blend of bliss. Some skillet potatoes, and I'm good. Warm flour tortillas are really good with them, as you can make impromptu breakfast burritos! If desired, bacon or breakfast meat can be added.
You should give them toast wit it. Or a full breakfast with bacon or sausage (they have veggie bacon, turkey, beef or chicken bacon and sausage in the US, but it's not as common as pork), fresh fruit, pancakes, hash browns, or any combo of the above. I like the Grand Slam breakfast from Dennys restaurant, but I normally eat it for dinner. I normally just have cereal and tea for breakfast.
In Mexico they fry the tortilla first to a toasted consistency, then we pour the beaten eggs on it. Then use toppings such as salsa, or jalapeños, cream, cheese. Whatever is at hand, really. Or we heat up the tortillas and make tacos with the cooked eggs, or scoop the egg with tortillas, like you do with roti.
I'm sorry guys but I couldn't really see the omelets very well. But when they cut and picked up some it didn't look like what I make. and eat. You crack three or so eggs ( depending on the size ) into a bowl and a spoon or two of water or milk and beat them till mixed and a little frothy . Pour into a fry pan with a little butter cook till almost all the egg is fully cooked. Take cheese and add to one side and immediately put on a plate and flip the side without cheese onto the side that does. I usually have two slices of buttered toast and a tall glass of ice cold milk. But you drink what you want.
My only "complaint" is that an amazing cheese omelette is even better with some good toast, bagel, or english muffin. Glad they enjoyed it. It is one of my favorites
You could make a great breakfast sandwich with roti and the omelet inside. Better even if it was cheese and turkey bacon omelet with some kind of sweet chutney to dip. And chai
An omelette, at least one made in the traditional (French) way, isn't browned. The eggs are just barely set, and then the sides are folded over before it is slid out of the pan. It's so difficult to do correctly that it's often used as a sort of test for potential new employees. I'm glad they enjoyed what you gave them, but it's more like cheesy unscrambled eggs.

I think you can create your own cookbook that would be great idea!
an omlette wrapped up in a roti is called a taquito..its a mexican breakfast & it is good. goes good with salsa
Flautas are made with flour tortillas while taquitos are made with corn tortillas. They can contain a number of fillings.

I prefer tea in the morning too, true gentlemen.
I love cheese omelets and sometimes I eat them for a light dinner....always with toast.
That was fun! Omelettes with mushrooms and cheese are great too. And a little truffle powder if you have it available. :-)
Try a scrambled egg and cheese rolled in a burrito or even with your roti. ❤

That's a serious knife Mansour is using , LOL
I think you guys would really like Huevos Rancheros. I hope that’s spelled right.
I always put hot sauce on eggs when I eat them.

I have to have buttered toast with eggs, unless they are hard boiled.

Cheeseboard!.
they should try a flint style coney dog
Need a piece of toast with it.😊 i throw onions, bell pepper and mushrooms in mine too
I have never used a knife to cut an omelette on my plate. Just a fork. Am I odd?
What kind of cheese? What spices?
@@robinhays1011 That’s nice but doesn’t answer my question about the omelette in this video. 😘
Why no hash browns with it. Wouldnt have been to hard to add that with omelet??
