Dinner rolls are one of the breads we eat when having dinner, instead of roti. Not generally considered a breakfast item. Usually only butter is added.
I"m sorry, but Marmalade does not go on dinner rolls. Marmalade is for biscuits and toast. Butter, on the other hand is perfect for dinner rolls. Dinner Rolls are also good at sopping up gravies and sauces that are still left behind in your bowl or plate.
Mansoor likes the food, but hesitates to over-consume. Naveed consumes what he likes when he likes (oh, to be young!). Auntie is conservative with her eating until it is fish. If it is fish, it won't last. love these guys.
Hope they heated them before serving! Chef Naveed, you can use the orange marmalade in cooking to add flavor. Like with chicken. Then make rice to go with the chicken. Add a salad or vegetable and you have a meal!👌👌👌
I love dinner rolls, maybe even more than the meat it gets served with! (Often ham, turkey or beef). There’s a famous restaurant chain in America called Texas Roadhouse and their dinner rolls with cinnamon butter are very well known.
These are great to take place of biscuits at breakfast time. Prepare some country pepper gravy, scramble some eggs, and fry a few strips of bacon. Open a hot roll in half, butter to taste, spoon some of the eggs on to the biscuit, then spoon some of that country gray over the eggs; serve bacon on the side....The grave can be purchased at the market in packets. Follow the directions, boil water, add the gravy powder and stir until blended. You can even top the split roll with some hashbrowns and friend sweet onions....PEACE Y'all!!
Typically served alongside lunch or dinner meal. Jut some extra carby goodness. But also good for cleaning the plate of any extra gravy, sauces, or wet bits... Yum!
Also, "roll" has many uses in English. These "rolls" are a type of small "bread"/"bun". But there's other things like "fruit rolls" which are rolled up sheets of thick fruit spread kind of eaten like candy by unrolling it and tearing off little pieces. Or there's other things like "spring rolls," which are a Chinese dish where vegetables are rolled up inside a thin sheet of batter, and then fried. Served as an appetizer or side-dish. "Cinnamon rolls" are a sweet bread that's rolled up [dough] with cinnamon and butter in between the layers. It's then spiced into individual pieces and baked in the oven into a kind of spiral "sweet bread roll" with cinnamon and sugar inside. Often then frosted with either a sugar glaze or some kind of butter cream frosting on top. Served as a dessert or just as a sweet snack on its own.
Mmmmm. Wish I was there. I love marmalade. Usually have some in the fridge all the time, but I am all out. I better add some to my grocery list. I really enjoy them on waffles for breakfast, supper, or snack.
They're thinking that this is a meal but it's usually served as a side dish along with meat and vegetables and used in many ways. I usually use only butter - not with jam (although that's good too). The most important part is that they must be fresh!
Dinner rolls are great with stews or soups, but good that you have them marmalade to give them more flavour. And Naveen's right - you could use them as slider buns
I can understand you serving them a dinner roll as an example of the many types of breads westerners eat. But you allowed them to think the rolls were normally eaten as the entire meal. Just one or two rolls are served along with a balanced meal (a protein and usually two side dishes). To allow them to fill up on that much bread is not healthy.
In a place where bread is a main food staple, I would think dinner rolls would go over well. Also, considering that these foods and their availability are rare or even unheard of in this part of the world, I think that they are doing a great job. To make comments like this from your place of privilege says less about them and a lot more about yourself...
Those dinner rolls look good enough for soppin'.. which means if there is gravy or juice on your plate you use the rolls to get it. So good.
Dinner Rolls also make great Sliders.
I love this reaction absolutely 100%. Keep up the good content, guys!
Beautiful job on the rolls! 😃👍❤️
I always enjoy seeing your videos, Auntie brightens my day💕.
We would always spread butter on the top, then pop in oven long enough to melt the butter.
Me too
Love them toasted with garlic butter and a good gravy on them
Definitely a great addition to dinner . Especially if there is gravy or sauce to mop up. 😋
Use dinner rolls in place of roti, or naan. That's how they are used in the West.

What is roti actually?
@@garycamara9955 A flatbread made of wheat flour.

Dark blue really suits Aunty Sobia. These are bread cakes in the UK.
Today... dinner rolls!
Tomorrow... Subaru

My favorite thing to do with dinner rolls is to tear them apart and pour turkey gravy over top. I always do this with Thanksgiving leftovers
Let them try with the roll first, then with butter, and then with the marmalade.

Dinner rolls are best to eat soon after they come out of the oven and add butter and let it melt!
We would normally eat only one or two of these as an addition to a full dinner.

You should have given them meat & gravy dinner so they could wipe up the gravy with those beautiful rolls!
Grapefruit marmalade is amazing! Or maybe an acquired taste.
No marmalade only butter is needed. Dinner rolls are a bread side item with dinner or just for a snack, grab and go.
Omg. Warm with butter. I can eat warm rolls with butter all day every day. Yes, I'm fat.
Eid Mubarak.
❤👍
Can we try a variety of jelly's jams and/or preserves in a variety of flavors that are unfamiliar to Countryfolk Try.
Why marmalade?
Did they try biscuits with sausage grayy yet?
Because of religion, they cannot experience real pork sausage gravy.
Its a roll you eat WITH dinner, not the whole dinner. Explain it to them.
Dang! Dinner rolls? lol
Give the guy a break, he's running out of foods to feed them. :)
