I’m a native of the Mile High City and food tour guide. I don’t care what people call it maybe because I really don’t eat it. 😂 The Denver or the Colorado omelette.. who cares. yes, and GSK too, but please tell mr tahir to never put a knife in or near his mouth. makes me nervous to see him do that. for safety, only bring hand, fork or spoon towards one's mouth, for safety. this is how westerners do. regards to mr tahir
@@acommentator4452 Well, the knife he used was not sharp and is ok to use like he did, but you're right in that it isn't usual at all. Perfectly safe though, it was a butter knife with a very small edge and he took a bite near the part of the knife that wouldn't be sharp.
I eat apples and pears with a sharp knife sort of similar to Mr Tahir did, and I have never cut myself doing so!
I love Tahir's take on death. It's not something to be feared, or worried about, if you die, you rid yourself of all the atrocities and problems of the world. It's not something you should seek, but to rather live in the moment and enjoy life.
From now on I'm calling It a 'Coca-Cola Omelette' 😅😅😅! Love These Guys !

Tahir is correct. When he comments that Colorado must have cold weather! These wonderful people may not have travelled, but it’s incredible how they can equate food with geography and culture.
Gul Sher is the brave, pragmatic one, Rana (where is he?) is the comedian, Tahir the sage, wise man and Chuadhary is the grandpa we ALL wished we could have.
Ohh, Tahir may be the sage, wise man but he is also a very funny one too. Tahir's sarcasm is hilarious!! Rana has his own form of humor for sure, he reminds me of my family and our form of humor.
Grandpa is Babu Bahi from Common Man in India. 😊 Tahir cracks me up! I love Chaudhary's sweet tooth. They are all so amazing!

That little shake Gul Sher does with his head has me giggling, and I am doing chemo right now and wishing I could keep down a Denver omelette but take vicarious pleasure in watching these loved guys eat. I adore this channel!

@Chris P That giggle of his gets me every single time! It's just so unexpected from a big strapping gent like GSK! Absolutely love all of their reactions to anything that they're served or they try out.
I think the best example of Gul Sher's laugh is in a video where the producers brought in one of those hand held massagers.
They all got a case of the giggles at first, but GSK was the one who had me laughing the hardest! 🤣

This is a Denver omelette. We never call it Colorado omelette.
Close enough, they are 12,200km away (thats 7,591 miles so you dont have to convert) which is literally a world away. Be happy for representation!
They are different. Denver has ham and they don’t eat ham. Colorado has bacon which means they can choose a pork alternative.

We Coloradoans like to put Hatch Green Chile Salsa on it as well….delicious.
If you're a true Coloradoan you'd use Pueblo green chile salsa on it, not Hatch. Didn't you know that there's a huge rivalry between Hatch, New Mexico and Pueblo, Colorado over who has the best green chile?😀

I am a Colorado native I have never heard of a Colorado omelet as stated by a previous commenter it's called a Denver omelet Denver is the capital city of Colorado.
Colorado is probably the state who's geography is the most like Pakistan as we have mountains plains and desert very similar to the topography of Pakistan. I hope you enjoyed the omelet

As a Colorado resident for the past 20 years, it’s certainly a Denver omelette.
I've heard of a Colorado omelette. IHOP has one on their menu and you can find them in Texas.
Colorado can be cold in winter, mainly in the mountains, but in the valleys and mesas it can be pretty hot in summer too.

Ahhh... what can I say? These gentlemen are close to my heart. I love to see them try new foods and enjoy them. They are in my prayers all the time. May they and their families always be healthy, safe, and without need.
Tahir's advice on if you die you get rid of all your problems- very true , but it did make me laugh. I love the look of this omlette , definitely a recipe I shall be trying in the near future - as Chaudhary puts it - the Coco Cola omlette!

Roll it up in a tortilla and you have a breakfast burrito. Chaudhary can put his omelet burger joint right next to Dr. Tahir's burrito shop. With their pictures printed on the packaging of course!

@@bookbabe001 I usually make scrambled eggs for them, but an omelet is basically the same thing. I like ham, potato, egg and cheese, but you could use sausage or bacon, maybe a little diced bell pepper or onion. Top with Pico de gallo or salsa or sour cream, whatever you like.

In my neck of the woods it's always called a Denver Omelette but that's close enough I guess.

They should try a nice cheese platter with some European cheeses and crackers and some fruit.
Go for classics such as Brie, Chevre, Stilton, Gouda, Parmesan and a yellow English Cheddar. There is after all a whole world of cheese.
Pair with some wine if you want to be fancy. =)

Eggs are such a versatile food, you can do so much with them. I have only heard of the Denver Omelette, very heavy with so many ingredients (ham is always in it (I know you don't eat ham).
Turkey ham is allowed, chicken sausage as well

.....additionally, Western / Denver omelette has green bell peppers and onions in the mix - along with ham...substituting beef for ham makes this something else.
Now you have to try a "Chile Colorado Beef Burrito." One of the big ones, like from a Mexican food truck or Michoacana restaurant. ❤
That is a 'Mission' Burrito, a California product and the inspiration for Chipotle.
A "real" Colorado bred and borne Burrito is a Smothered Burrito, smothered in Pork Green Chili, topped with shredded lettuce, diced tomato and melted cheese.

Yes - I lived in Denver for 37 years AND worked at I.H.O.P. The difference between Denver and Western is Denver has cheese - Western does not. Tomatoes are an option.

I suggest the team to arrange a competition among all participants. Make them sit on a long table side by side; give them food with knife & forke or chopsticks. Winner would be the one who would finish food using utensils only and not touching food with their hands. One who would touch food with fingers would be disqualified.

The folks always talk about food cooked on coals. We have a product called Liquid Smoke which is a smoke flavored seasoning. I wonder if you could trick them using it.

One of the best things Coloradoans do is put Hatch chilis on everything. 🤤 LOVED the food when I visited a friend there last year. I'd go back just for that!
@@sethgaston845 For a true Colorado experience you have to use Pueblo green chiles that are grown in Pueblo, Colorado. Come back to visit in late September to the Chile & Frijole festival. People come from all over the world for it. :)

Growing up in the 60s we called it a Denver Sandwich. Raffique Sahib is right, we ate it between two slices of bread. For some reason where I grew up it was a "dad meal", mothers never made them. It was something dads threw together for a weekend supper.

You can make an omelet with just about any ingredients. They're typically a breakfast meal, but my husband often requests them for dinner as well 😋😋😋 And the coldest temp we had this Winter was 27 degrees BELOW ZERO 😳😱🥶🥶🥶

Lived in Colorado for 40 years now. I've never had a Colorado omelet. I've never heard of one. Denver omelet, western omelet - but no Colorado omelet
At IHOP in other states it's called a Colorado omelet.
Maybe you channel creators can explain all this business about winter, summer food that Tahir speaks about so us westerners can understand. We eat whatever we are hungry for whenever.
It has to do with climate. If you live in a house without insulation, central heating or air conditioning, you notice summer heat or winter cold more. In my city it's 45°+C for weeks on end in July and August, so we eat light, cooling dishes. In winter, with no central heating, soups and stews keep us warm!
I live in Montana and there is winter and summer food here. Winter food is a belly full of warm like spaghetti or chicken and dumplings. Summer food is cooked on a grill with salad and light cool things. No one eats chili in the hot summer.

Eggs with ham, onions, red bell pepper, and asparagus are my favorite omelettes, some BACON on the side, with a piece of toasted bread with butter an sugar free peach jam. We Americans eat omelets all different ways. With different ingredients.
Eggs are a very healthy food. They have nutrients that are very beneficial to brain health, among other things. Beef is as well.. beef is a very good source of many of the "B" vitamins our bodies need. Especially when stressed.
It has a bit of B6 in it, but that's about it, fish and chicken are actually much healthier than beef and the latter even releases "feel good" hormones in the brain to help release stress actually.
