Man I Came from Forza motorsport I was one of you that were excited about the game and ended up being lied to. I'm so happy playing gt7 its so good I'm having problems adjusting to the handling but the game is so much better its amazing I love it even the regular cars are drivable
I know people are calling that a divebomb, but you cats are seriously underplaying the genius. First, to me a divebomb is when the driver is like LEEEERRROOOOY JENNNNKINS into a corner. This was perfectly calculated as P1 was repeatedly going slow in the corners and Rory saw an opening and went for it. It was pretty smooth. Second, Rory recognizes a problem at around 8:45 and talks through it, about why P1 is "so slow" in the corner. This happens on lap 4 and on lap 5, just under 2 minutes later, he comes back around and takes the corner when P1 is slow. He saw the problem. Waited for the opportunity. And took it.
I was yelling for him to make his move right at that spot, and the dude slide wide yet again. That was a textbook move, any other place could have been dangerous for the both of them
I mean at what point do they need to start using turn signals, waiting for the right-of-way, and letting others go first?? It's a race!!

Is it me or in reverse the circuit just seems to flow better?
I think it’s the run down to the second bridge that flows loads better, I would say the second half and the up hill at the end doesn’t flow so well for me.

Some corners ya
The run from the start to the bridge is much nicer in reverse but the rest of the track feels off camber and the uphill section is really bad compared to the normal circuit
The turn bridge is different because you need to slow down before the tunnel turn ,but the other way you are already slowed and not going as fast because of the small turn after the bridge.
Knew this race would be a video when I watched it live, that divebomb still gives me goosebumps 😂. Keep it up Rory 👍

Great race!!! Nice pass on lap 6! It looks like you did really well with tire management. I feel like you maybe could have used mediums? Also, from experience I know that when fuel hits 0.0 you still have a little left in the tank. I know from having had to coast over the finish line a few times myself 😂. And as always, thanks for giving me content to watch while I'm on the treadmill 👊🏽

The one time I won was a straight drag race where the guy in front of me beat me by an inch, and only because the guy quit before the final result therefore I technically took the 1st place victory.
That was when I learned to never leave the race until the results are finalized.

Wow! Great pass on lap 6. It got a bit emotional afterward but you kept it together for the win. Lap 8 and 9 were better. That Mazda really sent it on the lap 8 but didn't work. Didn't have the handling to make it work. Well done!

Track Path Editor from GT6 > every other track they could add or that’s already in the game. It’s 2024, it’s almost 9 years since that came out, almost 6 years since they took it away from us. Imagine the potential difference that 9 or so years of technology improvements could make.
