Hello Mike, thank you bud It was great to get out, It’s been a while lol, Took me a while to get my head around pinpointing with the 11 inch coil, I’ve been using the six for too long now 😂, Lucky it was easy digging, I didn’t include a clip that I filmed after the introduction, I showed the stickers on my back windshield, your sticker is faded so I didn’t think it was appropriate lol 😂, Have to replace it with a new sticker.

Thank you Bill , I only wish I could have found more relics from this place but sadly I didn’t, this morning a good friend came to this park to share some knowledge, he informed me that the American army dumped a shit load of unused army stuff in a hole and covered it up with dirt, he pointed us in the right direction but I might need mechanical help lol 😂 but knowing where the stuff has been dumped is a great thing to know.

Thank you, we had the Australian and New Zealand and American army camp on this place around 1938 to 1948, I know that the American army dumped a lot of military equipment in a hole and covered it up with canvas and dirt on top, I might need Machinery to take it out lol 😂, thank you for watching ATB 👍

@@mdmelbourne6076 I agree putting the time and effort into shooting the video akes awa form the detecting sometimes. Other times you find something awesome and you wish you had the camera to record it. I haven't been doing much detecting. Giving it a bit of a break. Been doing it over 6 years and things around the house have been neglected, so been getting into those. Plus there seems ot be a huge lack of finds in many of my regular spots. A lot of Sydney is pretty hunted out, with only the scarce finds left behind. Its getting to the point where its not worth the drive any more. Especially with the price of fuel at the moment.
@@DirtFishinDave don’t mention the price of fuel, filled up before 100 bucks it only gave me three quarters of a Tank, mine run’s on premium 98, almost 2.50 a litre, fuckin joke, It’s the school holidays here so up goes the price, I’m lucky here mate there’s still stuff to be found, all the weekend cowboys are hitting the play grounds for the Goldie’s, I know someone that only detects at night chasing Goldie’s He’s on the Dole so he’s home all day doing fuck all, not too many people bother looking for relics and old coins .

What most ppl don't realise is all the oil companies are doubling their profits this financial year, so its all BS this price hike. Detectorists in Sydney are a different bunch then. Here ts either beach hunters or park hunters looking for pre decs. Most of the older parks are pretty smashed. I know I've smashed some dozens of times. Finding spots that still put out a good amount of coins is rare now. As for goldies, unless you go hunting in parks that used to be popular but aren't used much these days, there aren't good hauls to be found much. I have a mate who found an unhunted park and scored $73 in goldies. Not bad. These days I am lucky to get $20. PPL just don't carry money anymore.

Well I have had 4 COVID shots and the Flu shots..

Thank you Bill , I only wish I could have found more relics from this place but sadly I didn’t, this morning a good friend came to this park to share some knowledge, he informed me that the American army dumped a shit load of unused army stuff in a hole and covered it up with dirt, he pointed us in the right direction but I might need mechanical help lol 😂
but knowing where the stuff has been dumped is a great thing to know.

Thank you, we had the Australian and New Zealand and American army camp on this place around 1938 to 1948, I know that the American army dumped a lot of military equipment in a hole and covered it up with canvas and dirt on top,

@@mdmelbourne6076 I agree putting the time and effort into shooting the video akes awa form the detecting sometimes. Other times you find something awesome and you wish you had the camera to record it. I haven't been doing much detecting. Giving it a bit of a break. Been doing it over 6 years and things around the house have been neglected, so been getting into those. Plus there seems ot be a huge lack of finds in many of my regular spots. A lot of Sydney is pretty hunted out, with only the scarce finds left behind. Its getting to the point where its not worth the drive any more. Especially with the price of fuel at the moment.

Detectorists in Sydney are a different bunch then. Here ts either beach hunters or park hunters looking for pre decs. Most of the older parks are pretty smashed. I know I've smashed some dozens of times. Finding spots that still put out a good amount of coins is rare now. As for goldies, unless you go hunting in parks that used to be popular but aren't used much these days, there aren't good hauls to be found much. I have a mate who found an unhunted park and scored $73 in goldies. Not bad. These days I am lucky to get $20. PPL just don't carry money anymore.
