Regarding the damp smell in the first 20 to 30 seconds of the aircond turn on, it is because the condensation of water on the cooling coil, it is common to most car as specially the older generation, my solution to this is, 5 minutes before reaching my destination, I switch off the compressor and only let the air blower on, and I set the fan speed higher, so that the air blow off the water from the cooling coil and let the water in the cooling coil box dry off, so no water stay in the Coiling coil box, hence less or no damp smell. you may use the ozone generator in the cabin( without people inside), run the aircond with fan on only, let the ozone kill the bacteria, and dry the coiling coil.

I agree with your 'annoying' points haha like the reverse camera, its slow startup and lagginess (at first I thought was a video issue). For the windshield defect, I have exact issue, same right side where there is a gap (though seems narrower abit than yours) at the top part while the left side is good so i guess you are not alone. And lastly, the doors, yes, need to close harder than expected hahaha especially when you fetching passengers and you gotta tell them to close harder haha...overall, great quality video!

I hear someone commented that you can actually get the proton service center to adjust something at the latch of the door to solve this issue but i dont know how reliable it is. Other than that, the solution is to close the door harder. Haha.

Weird aircond smell will go away after 10-20k km . Try to use hard really hard smell perfume to get rid of it . My mc1 iriz suddenly the weird smell gone .

Hi there, my unit so far no major issue. The only engine related issue i had so far was the motor oil leaking. It was easily fixed. Other than that didnt had any issue with radiator or other engine parts.
Mine the engine seems to vibrate alot when idle. Making my seat like massage car 🤔. Spoke to the proton service technition and got inform that it is normal. Weird.
Yo bro that's totally not normal. New car, vibrating like that, definitely something wrong. Whereas mine is kinda smooth. Or you could probably test drive their unit see if it's "normal" like they say.

Changing the widgets doesn't save its settings to non-volatile memory, causing it to reset everytime I on the car. Updating Spotify is the same too where it doesn't get updated properly. But these are nitpick, the car is awesome to drive and love the seats.

Betul, isu ni bagi sesetengah orang takda masalah. Lain orang, lain expectations. Ada sesetegah orang benda kecil pun nak complain. Tapi bagi saya, overall persona ni kereta yang bagus untuk harga 60k.
I think this is due to the microphone not picking up the voice properly. And sometimes due to the system still loading or booting up especially first 40 seconds after you start your car.
@@Rydia_Entp for that i am not so sure. Since the hi proton is linked to a few functions like power window, aircond, etc… i think it’s risky to change. It might also void the warranty.
Hey thats good review. Would be good if you had covered on the driving experience more than the features of the car. the persona has this not so refined CVT and jerking problems during low rpms. why there is no update on the Transmission control unit and it makes the driving nightmare on the slow moving traffic. also the constant hissing sounds on the engine bay seems like vaccum leaks which no service centre wants to fix them by themselsves and dare to deal with it. I'm persona MC1 owner where the rattling of the dashboard and almost every internal parts have squeaky sounds here and there. uffffhhhgggg. badly want to change my car for better T or H. not to say even perodua is better interms of quality and reliability.

I went for a test drive on the Persona Premium 2022. I enquired is there any issue with this car. SA mentioned the 40:60 opening compartment some have issues (noisy sound due to loose hook or something) which need to be adjust during servicing. Not all but some cars have this issue. And also proton have removed black roofing from the Persona premium which is a huge bummer for me. Still waiting for my car . 5th month now. :(

Hi thank you for the support! now i will try to answer your questions. 1. The voice command supports pause, unpause, next song, previous song. And it also depends on the music app that you are playing. Sometimes if that is the only song in the playlist then it will only stop at that song and will not be able to go next song or resume song because that's the only song available. 2. I think alot of persona owners got a problem with the FM radio, this one i am not sure if it's the signal or if the radio antenna itself has problems. But so far i do not have any issues with the radio. Someone commented before that there is a setting in the infotainment that you can change so the FM audio volume doesn't auto raise or lower its volume. But i forget which settings, you will definitely have to read some of the comments on some of my recent videos. 3. Yes the navigation is really slow and laggy i definitely have no comment on that because there is nothing much we can do about it. So I think it's better to use waze or google maps. 4. If you mean how to connect Spotify from your phone to the infotainment unit, then you can watch my QD link tutorial video. But if you are talking about the new Spotify update on your infotainment system, then i am sure because i have not updated mine either, but i assume you will have to go to the proton service centre and have them update it for you. Hopefully, this info helps and that it answers your questions.

Terpulang dengan warna dan spec. Biasanya kalau premium dengan warna space grey, sekurang-kurangnya 6 bulan. Kalau warna lain macam putih, cepat sikit.
I just got my persona standard version, and like to ask everytime i start the car and switch on the aircond the turn knob controlling the temperature for coldness is always back to the lowest and i have to turn back higher is this normal ?
hi there bro, sorry for the late reply. So far i've never experienced that problem or maybe i didnt notice. but usually before i switch off the car i usually off the aircond first. But i've after i read your comments, i try to leave the aircond on and just switched of the car. And when i start the car again it seems that the aircond fan and temperature settings remained the same. So i guess my car is not experiencing that problem. Perhaps it depends on how long you switch off the car. I am not so sure though. But from my end, i have yet to encounter the problem you mentioned.
The feature I appreciate the most is the auto headlamps. I don't really switch on/off the headlamps anymore. So convenient! And the thing that annoys me the most us the infotainment systems. So slow to start. But after it up and running, it's okay. Especially with the new update. The Spotify addition has been splendid.

Hi there. First of all, congratulations on getting your new car. Regarding the noise, i have experienced the creaking sound before but i am not sure where was it coming from. It was creaking for about 2 days and then after that it was gone. So far the sound didn't return. Everything seems fine for now. Hopefully the sound goes away and that you enjoy your new car. If it persists, you can always send it to the service centre to get it checked. 😊

Hi there! Yes we can use the eco mode for the whole driving period. If you turn on the eco mode it will stay in eco mode until you switch it off or when you drive over 100km/h. Once you hit 100km, the engine will auto turn off the eco mode and you will be driving in normal mode. So if you want to drive in eco mode the whole time, drive below 100km/h ☺️
The most annoying problem that I had with my Persona Exec MC2 is the bluetooth music 'ringing' noise upon turning on the headlamp. Especially when you're driving at night and you want to volume up your bluetooth music, it 'rings' louder and louder. At a point I experience headache. Definitely not an enjoyable experience. Went to the SC, they gave me that bullshit 'need to update software' shit and simply reset the whole infotainment. Remains unsolved until now.
Oh i see. So far i have not experienced that. Hopefully proton will be able to sort out that problem. That sounds pretty annoying not able to listen to music in peace.
Hopefully your car will come soon. I guess it's a hot selling b segment car right how. But yea if it doesn't come in the month or two you should definitely give the SA a call.
i bought it for 2 months and feels like i already use it for 6 years. the damage is here and there. so far i can list you 10 problem but the most annoyed me is the sound system was broken. later on the infotainment cant be turn on. yes it is under warranty but i have to wait for 3 months for proton to order the new one. if you dont want any problem just simply dont buy proton. produa is even better. very regretful to buy proton car.
I see! that's unfortunate! sorry to hear that your unit had some issues. For me so far no serious problems yet after almost 1 year, although the infotainment unit is starting to become slow. Hopefully, this persona will not have any major problems first 3 years. But yes i agree, in terms of reliability, i think Perodua cars are better.

Hi bro. Thank you for supporting my channel by watching my content. Now to answer your questions, do you mean the parking sensor button that's near to your eco button? If you press that button, that sensor only works for front bumper. The back bumper sensor only works when you go into reverse mode. But I suggest that you go to your infotainment unit, and check the settings. Go to the audio tab. Under the audio settings, there is a setting "safety allert volume" , maybe you accidentally turn it to low. Try setting it to high or mid. If still no sound, then you need to get it checked at the proton service centre. My reverse sensor is working fine. Everytime i go to reverse mode the sensor will start beeping. I hope this info helps and that you get to solve the sensor issues soon.
I have the same problem. The service centre said there's a loose wire and they rectified it. And then after a few months, it happens again. Going to go back the service centre soon

It is the auto headlamps sensor locate at front windscreen there? I think my windscreen tinted too darkness the sensor cant detect that 😧

@@six567 yes, with darker tinted it will always detect as dark and turn on light, so i utilize that function for my case

Hi there! Yes we can use the eco mode for the whole driving period. If you turn on the eco mode it will stay in eco mode until you switch it off or when you drive over 100km/h. Once you hit 100km, the engine will auto turn off the eco mode and you will be driving in normal mode. So if you want to drive in eco mode the whole time, drive below 100km/h ☺️
The most annoying problem that I had with my Persona Exec MC2 is the bluetooth music 'ringing' noise upon turning on the headlamp.
Especially when you're driving at night and you want to volume up your bluetooth music, it 'rings' louder and louder. At a point I experience headache. Definitely not an enjoyable experience.
Went to the SC, they gave me that bullshit 'need to update software' shit and simply reset the whole infotainment. Remains unsolved until now.
Oh i see. So far i have not experienced that. Hopefully proton will be able to sort out that problem. That sounds pretty annoying not able to listen to music in peace.
And here, ive booked mine end of feb, and until now no news.. Frustrating AF

i bought it for 2 months and feels like i already use it for 6 years. the damage is here and there. so far i can list you 10 problem but the most annoyed me is the sound system was broken. later on the infotainment cant be turn on. yes it is under warranty but i have to wait for 3 months for proton to order the new one. if you dont want any problem just simply dont buy proton. produa is even better. very regretful to buy proton car.
I see! that's unfortunate! sorry to hear that your unit had some issues. For me so far no serious problems yet after almost 1 year, although the infotainment unit is starting to become slow. Hopefully, this persona will not have any major problems first 3 years. But yes i agree, in terms of reliability, i think Perodua cars are better.

Hi bro. Thank you for supporting my channel by watching my content. Now to answer your questions, do you mean the parking sensor button that's near to your eco button? If you press that button, that sensor only works for front bumper. The back bumper sensor only works when you go into reverse mode. But I suggest that you go to your infotainment unit, and check the settings. Go to the audio tab. Under the audio settings, there is a setting "safety allert volume" , maybe you accidentally turn it to low. Try setting it to high or mid. If still no sound, then you need to get it checked at the proton service centre. My reverse sensor is working fine. Everytime i go to reverse mode the sensor will start beeping. I hope this info helps and that you get to solve the sensor issues soon.
I have the same problem. The service centre said there's a loose wire and they rectified it. And then after a few months, it happens again. Going to go back the service centre soon

better use coolant and avoid tap water, because there are mineral and can spoil your cooling system which cost u more in long run

@@verorreviewssomething8291 hey want to ask you, do we can monitor and add by our own other than green coolant such as toyota coolant/nissan coolant (both are red ones) ?... because sometimes SC technicians are so stuborn add some water to our radiator eventhough we remark do not add water :')
Hi bro. For this matter, i am sorry i can't really advice because i don't know much about coolants. I am not sure if you can add other coolant but i hope someone else can answer this question for you. For me, i will just stick to whatever is recommended.
