SALAAH
DEFINITION OF SALAAH
1. The linguistic definition is “du’a.”
Al ‘Qadia said this is the saying of most scholars of fiqh and Arabic language.Du’a means ‘supplication’. In Arabic language we usually refer to something by what is included in it.
The technical definition in the Sharee'ah is the ‘sayings and actions beginning with takbeer and ending with tasleem along with intention.
Salaah is a pillar of Islam. Prayer is the greatest after the Shahadah and this is established in the Qur'aan and the Sunnah. The Ijmaa says that the one denying this pillar goes out of Islam. There are many benefits to Salaah - religious, worldly, health-wise, social, political, systematic, regulating etc. This shows the wisdom of Allah when He made the Salaah obligatory- it upholds that which is in this world and the Hereafter. It is the foundation of this life and the cause of happiness in the next life.
VIRTUES OF SALAH
Salaat (Prayer) performed genuinely with humility and submission to Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala) has unlimited virtues and benefits. It is the noblest expression of faith and the surest way of thanking Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala) for His unlimited favors. It is the way to obtaining Allah's mercy, generosity, kindness, blessings and a sure way to paradise. Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala) says in the Qur'an: “Prosperous indeed are the believers who are humble in their prayers” (Qur'an 23:1-2).
It is a deliverance on the Day of Judgement for those who used to observe it well. The Prophet ﷺ says: “The first thing that the servant of Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala) will be called to account for on the Day of Judgement will be the prayer; and if it was good the person's deeds will have been good, but if it was bad, the person's deeds will have been bad” (Reported by Imam Bukhari).
Prayer purifies the soul, refines the character and inculcates in man the excellent virtues of truthfulness, honesty and modesty. It keeps one who performs it from falsehood and from all forbidden actions as is categorically confirmed by the following verse of the Qur'an: “ Verily, prayer refrains from indecency and evil” (Qur'an29:45).
Rasulullah ﷺ said "Allah has obligated five prayers. Whoever excellently performs their ablutions, prays them in their proper times, completes their bows, prostrations and khushu` [Khushu` in the prayer is where the person’s heart is attuned to the prayer.] has a promise from Allah that He will forgive him. And whoever does not do that has no promise from Allah. He may either forgive him or punish him." [Recorded by Malik, Ahmad, Abu Dawud, al-Nasa’I and others.]
SubhanAllah Allah (swt) is giving us a PROMISE that he will forgive us! What more can we ask for? How can I pray when I have so many sins, they should realize this prayer is a way for them to get their sins forgiven.

We Muslims pray just like Jesus did. In fact, Jesus is considered as a Prophet of God in Islam rather than being a God of a son of God. His name is 'Isa (A.S).Muslim literally means a person who submits themselves to God. God alone. God has no pictures, drawings, or anything. God wasn't a human. God is the Almighty power with infinite power.
Even the crescent and the star (☪️) isn't the symbol of Islam. Its just a misconception believed by most of the Muslims aswell.

God doesn't have pictures or drawings I agree, but Jesus prayed in many ways, throughout the gospel He showed the apostles on how to live their life, positions wasn't taught by Jesus because it's not mere action that matter but a true intention of worship to God is what matters

Origins was my favorite but this one seems so authentic, i'm so happy they included the Arabic language. It's a shame that Origins didn't have Egyptian, and Odyssey Greek... even though one could argue those languages have changed over time but at least Arabic i will assume its still more or less the same

I just finished the game, it has many Islamic details, one thing I found beautiful is the sound of the azan you can hear it in the streets, and also there is many historical Islamic figures represented in the game

the NPC doing sunnah prayer as i see, 2 rakaat which is often done either before or after fard (main prayer)
sunnah => recommended (better if you do it, fine if you don't),
fardhu / fardh => obligatory prayer
note: imma buy this game probably

That actually makes sense why there was only 2 rakaat. Because that doesn't look like Fajr at all, the sun's already out. Yeah Sunnah prayer makes much more sense.

The day in the game is very short, if there was every prayer you would hear athan every 2-3 minutes

The right bowing is to straight your knees while bowing, and before you move your head right and left(which is not obligatory, sunnah) you say the tahyat and abrahamic greetings then you say assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullah(which is obligatory) but moving head left and right is sunnah

However, there is a typo in the thumbnail, the Arabic word for Prayer (صلاة) is written (صلاح), which has a different meaning (The perfection of something. For example the name Salah eddin or Salahuddin means the perfection and the impeccability of the religion).

well its daylight, as moeslem i know that wrong, praying in daylight would be "Dhuhur" or "Ashar", and it should be 4 raka'at but in this game its show only 2 raka'at , except the man do "Jama' Qashr" but i dont think he do "Jama' Qoshr", well its not perfect off course, but i still respect and say this is amazingly good... thanks ubisoft...

@@gameofaxe The NPC is praying Sunni Way that was Shown not told by Hazrat Muhammad. The told way is for the Ehle Hadis people in old age they used to hide Statues under their arms when in sajood they would place them at front so for them before sajood and rakooh they were told to do Allah Hu Akbar but some took it as a way to prayer and crested their own cast which isn't bad ofcs just few different ways. Shia though they are just different stories lol

@@gameofaxe The I'tidal was wrong his hands wasn't supposed to be folded, I can't see his finger from this far but it looks like his finger didn't point in the last tasyahud, and he only does 2 rakaat when he's supposed to do 4 if it's in the afternoon (but that can be excused by saying he's only doing a sunnah prayer, but if after he finishes he immediately leaves then it's not right)

Eh that's the wrong "h" for the word in the thumbnail.
That's a ح which transliterates to ħ instead of ه for the normal h, and in the case of Salah as in the prayer it's written with ة. What's in the thumbnail means correctness instead of prayer.

no this is not asr time... it can be around 10:30 am in the morning... this guy (or a different guy) comes around this time and prays for whole day in 2 rakats
