Real question is, was Egypt back then was like this desert or was green with a vibrant city with white paint buildings. But that Moses reference literally shocked me, goosebumps.
It was green when the pyramids were build. Remember the pyramids were ancient to ancient Egypt. At the time of this game, it’s accurate. God cursed Egypt for enslaving his people and killing them in the Nile. That is why the Nile is cursed and the land became dry.
As a Muslim, according to the Quran, it was green. 43:51; And Pharaoh called out to his people, boasting, “O my people! Am I not sovereign over Egypt as well as ˹all˺ these streams flowing at my feet? Can you not see?
Also, science and desert-ish lands in saudi arabia, morocco, proves that it was green in the past. And I heard a Muslim high educated man saying that the line of north africa and saudi arabia will become "the new equator" of earth in the future. And for me it is a possibility based on some of the prophet Muhammad pbuh ahadeeths about the signs of the hour (earthly last day), and also based on what i am seeing in the recent years, how the climate is changing specially in the lands of the arabs, one hadeeth also mentions "even if you had to crawl on snow", and it shows that Al-Sham will be europe-like climate, perhaps, I live in Palestine and tbh it's likely that! Last year while I was going to work with my dad, we saw a weird Fog that at least for me it was rare and ig 1st time to witness this kind of Fog, and 3C where it was so cold and in an area of around 100m above the sea!! I remember when the game first came out I did my first assassination of medunamun and left siwa and I fast traveled back to turn in a quest and to finish a couple locations. When I was done I realized I forgot to sync a viewpoint so at the southern part of Siwa I set a marker for the location I left and rode my horse across a level 40ish area, dying several times to high level bandits and when I finally got to the area I went to after assassinating medunamun I had my first mirage and it was the one required for a trophy.

And [he was told], "Throw down your staff." But when he saw it writhing as if it were a snake, he turned in flight and did not return. [Allah said], "O Moses, fear not. Indeed, in My presence the messengers do not fear. - Qur'an, Verse (27:10)
Exodus 7:10-13
10
So Moses and Aaron went to Pharaoh and did just as the LORD commanded. Aaron threw his staff down in front of Pharaoh and his officials, and it became a snake.
11
Pharaoh then summoned wise men and sorcerers, and the Egyptian magicians also did the same things by their secret arts:
12
Each one threw down his staff and it became a snake. But Aaron's staff swallowed up their staffs.
13
Yet Pharaoh's heart became hard and he would not listen to them, just as the LORD had said.

No wonder AC uses too much Islam in the game because of the rich story and lore
Our prophets are others too, not just Islam
All of you use the same source neither islam or christianity can take credit of it
It's not Islamic story and lore. It's a Jewish story.
Both Christianity and Islam are Jewish religions that branched out.
@@miguelpadeiro762umm nope. In fact Jews and Christians fell out is Islam. Look up the definition of Islam, technically speaking ALL Prophets of God are Muslims and preached Islam (submission to One God). Musa's AS followers, Bani Israil were also Muslims until they started to mistreat the Prophets and rejected Jesus PBUH. Same with the followers of Jesus PBUH, his first disciples are considered Muslim in the truest sense, until they ascribed divinity to him, invented the Trinity and introduced polytheistic practices and also reject Muhammad ﷺ as a Prophet.
Muslims are the ones who believe in all of these mighty messengers of God.
@@AbdAllah_54564 It was written by Jews as Jewish stories, which later later adopted by Greeks and Arabs, who respectively laid up the foundaitons for Christianity and Islam

Moses had a apple of Eden (possibly the one Altair had) and a staff of Eden. It been referenced that many families and tribes passed pieces of Eden to the next generation as Jesus and his disciples had many pieces of Eden among them.

that's why they're hallucinations....
Considering that this is an easter egg in a game and we also encounter engypt gods in the Game, you don't need to look for much logic.
These are hallucinations
Moses was not the stick himself, he converted the stick in his hand into snake.
.... that's what happened in the hallucination. Just his stick remains, while he disappeared.
@@josephmoore9706
But the Bible says he didn't disappear except the stick, correct me if I am wrong.
@@jojogonjalves4137 yeah he didn't. I assume they did it here because it's just a hallucination. Or Maybe they didn't want to make an actual game model for Moses and just left it as a shadow figure in the distance.
Someone explain? Im somewhat familiar with the story of Moses but i dont understand this
I was the same until I saw the staff turning into a snake, that is a reference to Prophet Moses.
In the story of Musa he was challeged by the pharaoh in which he brought the worlds best magicians to battle against Moses. So when the time came they met up at a festival with everyone watching and the magicians through ropes which ended up moving about as if they were snakes. The Prophet Moses threw his staff which turned into a snake and swallowed up the magicians items then returned back to a staff. The magicians who thought that after the illusion that all their materials will return as normal but saw that only the staff was visible thus being a miracle and not an illusion. So they ended the worship of Pharaoh and bowed to the one true god. This caused Pharaoh to be angry and cut off their hands diagonally and crucify them. That's what the staff meant
I think the mosses reference is the stuff that trun into snake I think
Also the burning bush at the start is a reference to the burning bush that Moses saw that caught on fire but didn’t evaporate like it should’ve. I was taught that 15 years ago so I don’t remember why exactly was it but yeah that’s also a reference.
Read that fictional book called the Bible then? 🤷♂️ or try to (I heard it's a yawn fest)
They could’ve called this one Mirage
as jewish and israeli it made me really proud and excited to see this. in case no one knows what it is, read bible...
i don't wanna read your falsified book, full of human writings read quran instead of corrupting us it contains 100% the words of god unlike the bible which is just humans trying so hard to corrupt you like "according to marc" "according to matthew" "according to john" and never according to god so there is nothing divine just rubbish (btw when you read the bible there is only few words of our PROHET jesus) instead of corrupting us and train people to fire with you repent to Allah and stop believing god has mother.

It's against the entire story the game has set up now, but it's a nice detail. imagine it's canon
In Ac’s plot, moses would be using an Isu artifact as staff
No it's just a hallucination.
It's not Moses.
This game had rich mythology based on the ancient native egyptian religions, which were eradicated by the 6th century no thanks to the later religious cults that believed in Moses.
It is Moses, you saw the burning bush, and you also saw Moses holding the staff, and you also saw where the staff became a snake as it dropped on the ground
I hope you replie our friend here, cause he gave you a lot of proof that show us that Moses Is actually in the game
Bad take, Jonah
Yes, it's a hallucination, but it's also a reference to the story of Moses being called upon by God through a burning bush that stayed intact. He also threw down his staff and it turns to a snake
