- All I can say is that I hate the desert.
I didn't see this many Hallucinations when I played the game, so I had no idea there are this many. I spent a lot of time in the desert trying to find them all, but It was worth it.

First time it happened I thought it was a glitch lol
3:13 That's Moses lol
Yes and no. It's the head of the mummification temple in Memphis called Wabet, the one whose nose was cut off so he was hiding it with a scarf.
@manslaughter3180 Yes but it's supposed to reference Moses they just reused that dude's head
1:53 Yeah the ghost can be multiple different story characters. I saw Aya, Cleopatra, the old healer lady from Siwa and some of the Order of Ancients members
I see ilusion Apollodoros
It looks like the prince of perja to me
I saw khemu once
First time I saw one, it was Ptolemy
Loved running around in the desert in this game! Best little detail I've enjoyed in an AC game.
The snake staff is actually a reference to Moses.
The cartoon movie shows it as well (Prince of Egypt)
The scarab rain and the locust storm is also a reference to the seven plagues of Egypt.
The burning tree is actually know as the burning bush, this is another nod at Moses, in the bible Moses speaks to God through a burning bush (I can't exactly remember why) but God as the burning bush tell Moses to free his people from the Egyptian's.
actually mostly
by far one of the most beautiful game ever made
I think the bush never burns out, so thats how you can be safe its god
0:50
Tatooine
Duuuh duhhh duh
Duh duh duuuh duh
Duh duuuh duh duh duh
Duh duuuuuh
The flying cloth scared the hell out of me the first time I saw it, I thought some witch was trying to drag me somewhere (cause I follow it, lol).
3:51 the og mirage
the person that draws in the sand like the hallucinations with khemu has a jackal for a head like anubis, the egyptian god of the dead, maybe this is khemu or what bayek perceives as khemu speaking to him from the afterlife. also that burning tree might be a burning bush like the one god spoke to moses through in the torah/old testament.
As i was wandering i got to a tree with a bush nearby, as it started burning i heard whispering and then scarab rain happened. My first instinct was 'boss battle' and i was hella confused when they just disappeared.
This is why I prefer origins more than odyssey. But, the only mirage I get are the burning tree, meteor shower, khemu, flowers, and a fish. The raining scarab felt very cool.
Go to farthest point on the map to the right that little strip of sand on the other side of the water will help you its literally along that strip fast forward a couple times wander around in the heat it should happen
Many Biblical references, this is so cool
Bruh until I heard from another source about this I thought I was hallucinating irl cause I’m always playing this game at night
this ac was so fucking good
First time it happened for me was right after defeating Khaliset and considering where that particular battle took place, I always thought it had something to do with the Isu temple buried underneath the great pyramid.
When i was trapped in the sand during the scarab quests the walking figure appeared in front of me and stopped, just starring and then disappeared in thin air, most craziest shit Ive ever seen in an AC game
Idk but someone said it was a reference to Moses or ancient Egypt which may have been full of grass as supported by science and archaelogoy
There's a lot of Moses hallucinations in this game...
First one I got was the blurred vision making it look like there was a bunch of moons on the screen.
I'm just like: WHAT SORCERY IS THIS?
the floating scarf leades me to this women who is growing flowers and then to a lion
I love the subtle biblical references...the snake staff and the burning bush/tree
And the locust swarm etc. Pretty cool
Bayek with beard and long hair 🥰
That beard 👀
Nemo. 😂
I *really* miss chariots in future games; no matter what others say. 🥺
Along with some other things from here...
If they do Aztecs they might add chariots.
I remember during that plot point when we are buried in the sand I struggled to find a solution for so long, I saw like a hawaiian lady dancing around flowers? And back then I didn't know it was a hallucination and I tried to interact with her, thinking she might be somewhat connected to the solution. Haven't seen her anywhere else at any point in the game and she isn't here as well. Weird
With enough hallucinogens and dehydration, one could create their very own religion after a stroll through the desert. 😂
3:14 he is
Prophet Moses
First one I saw was a single fish falling from the sky
so many mirages, i played this game around 200 hours and never saw even half the mirages, and the first time i saw one i shat my pants
Loved it...
Great compilation.
The desert is willd and full of madness
-Egyptian Melisandre
Great work 👍👍
The guys with a staff is a prophet names Musa
Musa, AKA Moshe, AKA Moses
When it started raining fish in the sand.. I was so mesmerized.. 😮
I did saw two suns one, i ignored it thinking it must be part of ac lore only to realise few minutes later that whole franchise is just alternative universe where most of thimgs are same💀
0:42 It's an enemy stand user
Wow. I did not know bayek was dreaming. Now I understand why he the line after killing the first templar
The "unknown figure" at 4.27 could have very likely been Anubis Egyptian god of the dead with the resemblance as to both having a dog head. This would make sense and is actually quite wholesome as anubis is believed to be a protector and guide to the underworld showing that khemu's soul is safe in the afterlife
What makes this even more interesting is that seeing as how it was one of the gods and this IS ancient Egypt it could very have been real and not a hallucination but the dissapear before bayek can confront them leaving behind their message via a sand drawing
Dude, I got the ghostly figure when Bayek was stuck in the sand by the Scarab and it fit so well lmao (Unless it is actually in the cutscene)
it probably is
got that exact thing too
You missed two: The scenery distorting and (his son, I forgot) planting flowers
4:26 I think that's an Anubis warrior from the Curse of the pharaoh's DLC
A lot of religious reference to this game, thats why Origins is in my top 3 AC games
Thought the pointing ones were directing you to Desheret
Something i see nobody mentioning is how if you’re deep in a sandstorm and you look up, you can sometimes see giant snakes falling from the sky in the distance
I need to see that
@@3to4characters You have to deliberately get caught deep in a sandstorm, like, dead center of it
@@nullozmko9397 I'll try it.. if I ever get origins.
I saw Khemu looking at me and left a drawing of him, bayek and a snake. Kinda sad 😢
3:46 i didnt of this as a meteor shower. Rather a premonition or reference to passenger jets flying over the same many century later
Which cant be true because there are zero planes that can go remotely as fast as meteorites flashing by.
The difference in speed is incredibly large. Even satellites.
Most they shows places...
This one pisses me off... Every time the sound indicates that I'm close to one, I look around 360 and there is NOTHING to see!!! I only get the sound.
The definition of its not a bug its a feature
It is actually a feature tho.
♥
how long did this take? gah damn
🩰
I thought it was Kassandra for a moment in her origins outfit but i rembered odyssey came after but maybe the custome is a reference to that.
Jeje
i thought the man with staff was khanshu after seeing the moonlight
🦍♥
Honestly this game couldnt have been more dog shit but the mirages were always cool
Why? Best one to me.
ρяσмσѕм 😇
