    Hi friends! Here is an easy one row repeat that can be worked continuously until you reach your desired size. This is a really fun one and if you avoid color changes because of the tails, I have a solution for you! But of course, this would be ideal for a color changing yarn as well. I hope you enjoy the video. xx

    I love this pattern SO much- could/would you be able to do this stitch as a rectangle? As in, a blanket. Thank you for your quality tutorials. Yours are my favorite on YT.

    • @PlayHookywithMe
      @PlayHookywithMe  3 месяца назад +1

      Hi Karen . I will add to the list BUT if you’re wanting to try it now, I would recommend that you use the moss stitch rectangle as your guide. Now I do skip every other chain in that one which you wouldn’t need to do.
      However, I would do the corners the same way that you see in that video.
      I hope that she’s sense. But I’ll definitely add to the list to make a video- great idea 💕

  • @moniquep.341
    @moniquep.341 Год назад +1

    Thank you for the tutorial. I really like this stitch, so I will definately try. Do you think it would be hard to make a rectangle in stead of a square?
    I'll have to check if I can figure that out, if not I will make 6 large squares and join them 🤷🏼‍♀️

    • @PlayHookywithMe
      @PlayHookywithMe  Год назад +1

      I need to try figuring that out too. You might be able to do more stitches on 2 of the sides in the first round which might help it give more of a rectangle shape.
      Often it’s done by starting with a chain with 2 corners built on either side of the chain (check out my video on granny squares/rectangles to infinity) so there might be a way to do it like that.
      I’ll play with it but yes putting 2 squares together is a lovely idea.
      💕

    Will a russian not work with B Bernat blanket yarn? Also do you have a written pattern I can buy. Thank you so much

    • @PlayHookywithMe
      @PlayHookywithMe  2 месяца назад

      Hi Dawn ,
      No, a Russian join won’t work with that yarn because it doesn’t have plies that you can weave through. However , it does have little strings in the center, so you can remove the yarn about an inch on both ends you want to join and tie those strings together.
      Which pattern are you wanting?
      I’m in the process of writing patterns now but I’m not sure which one your asking about since you asked about Bernat blanket yarn 💕
