love the design but the gem placement was intended because if you look at the diamonds insignia, white is at the top(so forehead gem), blue and white are side by side (so matching chest gem placements) and pink is on the bottom (so stomach gem).

I already knew the intended purpose for the placement, but still thought it would be fun to mix up the placement since there are only two who are "mismatched" the redesign of the placement was done with no logic in mind, that why I let the silly google wheel do it
I noticed Pearl’s design too, and I came up with a little theory about it. It’s that Pearl’s outfit has all the colors because she has the default design for Pearls (they said so in the movie) and that design represents all of the diamonds. I think that she has the default outfit because when Pink got her new Pearl she was still upset about losing her old one and when asked for the design of this one, probably said something like “I don’t care.” And it automatically gave her the default. Don’t know if this makes sense, it’s just a little theory I came up with.
I think you missed the entire point of the gem placement- It shows the hierarchy of the Diamond Authority and how White is at the top and she's stuck in her own head. Blue and Yellow have theirs near the middle, showing how well rounded and heartful they both are and together they balance each other out. Pink's is at her stomach because she is the lowest in the Diamonds, and it shows where her life was meant to go; in the direction of motherhood and having a beby. The art is stunning but it just hurt to hear the reason you changed it 💀

It's not like I didn't care I thought it would be fun to put them in the same place, I really wished I went back and made that point more clearer. Again, thank you for your opinion lol
gem personality and gem placement are correlted, meaning if pink had a forehead gem placement she would be completely different and the show most likely would have gone down a different route. a forehead gem placement means a very intelligent and smart gem such as peridot and pearl. a naval gem placement means a very fun and easy going gem.
