The setting and lore of this show had incredible potential from the very start but the writers really dropped the ball. They focused on a million townie episodes and it was clear they didn't know how to handle the Diamond Authority or to show Homeworld as a proper empire so they just did whatever.
I absolutely love the small details of eyeball and the gems reaction to "pinks shattering"and hessonite losing the the light prism, and a nod to what the OG crystal gems did B4 the gem war, stuff we never really got to experience in the show but was told 2nd hand
i love how moonzuki re-made the scene of pink talking to blue and yellow and pink leaving Spinel instead of just re-using the footage from the show they actually re-made those scenes impressive I'm sure SOME people would have just re-used the footage from the show your a gem for keeping it original moonzuki infact your not just a gem your our diamond our paragon diamond(all the diamonds fused for anyone who is wondering where i got the name from)

The Diamond Authority and the Diamonds themselves had soooo MUCH potential. There was so much foreshadowing about them. I hate how they turned them into a generic "by the power of love and friendship" bs. Like bruh, they befriended White Diamond in a span of like what, 2 episodes? I expected that the arc was gonna be longer and that they even would have to go to war with her. White Diamond was most likely the most powerful gem, I didn't expect her to change and fold that easily.
As the other comment said I’m glad the community isn’t dead yet either. This show has been an important part of my life fr. Not long ago I heard that Rebecca Sugar is wanting to make another spin off of Steven but she needs her fans help to do it. We need to make it known that we want to show back. I’m going to be starting a X account soon to post more about it and get attention if anyone else is interested in something like that. Also I love the video and keep up the good work.

But maybe if enough of us band together and support the creators of the show and the community/fanbase we can block out the majority of the hate and get something good out of it.

Despite all the lore-filled episodes of Steven Universe, the “world” as a whole is FILLED to the brim with untapped potential. It’s a shame the network cut it short and couldn’t figure out the pacing to save their own lives.
This really puts together two things for me, 1, in a single pale rose pink diamond truely died it was the last time she ever used that form as when you reform that change is perminate, she used her lady moments as Pink diamond to thank her gems and show them love. It also hammers home to me the tragedy of Jasper's whole existence. A last ditch attempt that turned out to be the ultimate weapon Jasper was supposed to win that war. Jasper was fighting for her diamond the whole time whole fighting her diamond unknowingly. Not only was Jasper a failure to her purpose, Jasper's who existence was built on a lie. Fighting Steven is really a poetic continuation of her life she will never stop fighting her diamond because it's all she's known to be close to her. Jasper and Lapis were both born from lies destroying pressious life hurting while destroying it makes malchite Also Jasper duked it out with a DIAMOND FUSION multiple times. The only way to heal her was to break all of what she was and give her a new life to begin. Daym sympathy for Jasper O. O
Man i really want pink to explain her feelings to the diamonds. Like even after the events of change your mind i feel like the diamonds still never understood pink fully :(. Now that shes dead she wont ever explain it either.
Greatly done. I really liked the ending with the scenes of the evacuation intercut with the Diamond's stretching their hands to do the corruption beam. Also really liked the scene of Rose shattering Bismuth. Cool animation
I really loved this, and I love the almost flawless recreation of the backgrounds and the way that you collect all the information together and accurately put it together into one video is BEAUTIFUL
I don't think it's that perfect to pay before watching, but I won't lie when I say it took me a lot of time to finish it, but in the end I'm grateful that I made it.💖 tysm for ur beautiful comment!!

Stop being obtuse. Pink’s story isn’t as black and white as you’re trying to make it out to be. For starters, Pink did not hurt “everybody,” nor was it on purpose in her journey, as seen with her original Pearl. Y’all (the general fandom) give the Diamonds (Blue, Yellow, and White) so much grace because they were “forgiven” in the show, even though they’ve done a lot worse than Pink. For example, they actually shattered Gems for being disobedient or merely different (like the Off Colors and other different type Fusions like Garnet), manipulated their shattered remains into Clusters for failed colonies, etc. Also, how is it that Pink hurt the Diamonds when they were the ones literally throwing her into solitary confinement for being carefree? Regarding Spinel, perhaps Pink could have handled that situation better, but at the same time, she was trying to mature for the sake of the other Diamonds because they had finally given her what she wanted: a colony. She couldn’t do that with a Gem like Spinel following her around. It’s like when you stop playing with toys as you get older; do you feel bad when you “abandon” them with age? No. As for consequences, as far as Pink was concerned after the Gem War, Homeworld’s presence on Earth was non-existent for hundreds of years until Steven was of age, conveniently. She was not at fault for their eventual return. The stress on Steven was sad, but at the same time, she didn’t intentionally place all her “problems” onto him. Homeworld activity was at an all-time low for hundreds of years; she didn’t even have a choice of being with him at all because she HAD to give up her physical form. That’s like blaming your deceased parent for the stress of paying their bills after they’re gone. Like what? They didn't choose to die of natural causes.
So random but all the ambient music is SOOOO good. A lot of it reminds me of terraria but just in general it's so unbelievably nice to listen to by itself
