My favorite has to be cat beard the music the little sound effects he does and most importantly the pickled herring are used perfectly
Birgus latro is someone who is really built for an arena fights his super strike makes him look like a gladiator
I love the animation for some of the enemy's when you are about to hit them. They are so funny!
I like the ones where the enemies get hit a few times before the realize what's going on.
Hey All! I did not include story companions such as Bonnie, Old Scratch, Monkey King, or Contessa because their critical animations did not include a music theme which was the inspiration for this video! Let me know if I missed anyone important!

Just a thing if you didn't know, but there's a companion that Privies get named Argos that actually has special crit animations and music, not that its a big deal you missed him, because honestly no one uses him xD.
Peter Quint's Mega hit is my *FAVORITE.* So is Fan Flanders' Super Hit.
Birgus Latro/Caracticus are so slept on. Them and Ratbeard really make you feel like they're always villains at heart.
Personally I’ve always loved Egg Shen’s critical, but there is still a lot of other side characters with epic criticals and music going with it. And it’s actually nice people still do pirate101 vids, nice vid man 👍

Thanks for this! Would have liked to see Bonnie and the others but it does make sense since they don't have a slow down (Though neat backflip or mirror flip and shoot for Bonnie) XD

@@emberhunter8872 I've got quite a few, but I am hesitant to bankrupt myself further and go for more lol. I have all 4 haywire companions and all 6 beastmaster companions. Other than that, I have the bundle companion nausica and that is it. I would be willing to dish some money to get the magnificent 7 companions and include them too!

I love all the animations but I think the swashbuckling companions are my favorite because I like their music the most.
What I don't get is why they moved around and changed so many of the epics
For example, Barnabus's mega strike used to do two hits & was his epic (super back then, as it went super, mega, epic)
Sarah Steele's epic used to do five hits instead of one big one
Wing Chun & Zang Cha both have had theirs moved around too, plus a million others
based on the promotions, epic's the weakest, mega's the stronger one and super's the strongest.

Yeah I came to this video just to see Birgus’ super. I also learned that the critical order is epic mega super, and not epic super mega

Unrelated to the video, but im playing on my swashbucker and i'm having trouble deciding on either buying Wagyu Sanjuro or Keisuke Yagi because I only have 8292 crowns. Can someone tell me which of these companions are best for me?
I recommend wagyu. He has an amazing extra mega hit at max promotion. You can’t go wrong with keisuke though. They are both very good
