I just happened to be touring Alcatraz when they were filming the movie " The Rock " The main stars were not there that day . But is was cool seeing all the equipment set up .
While brother was on Enterprise aircraft carrier, some of my family got to go on family cruise. When Enterprise aircraft carrier was passing Alcatraz prison Island, pictured here, announcement over ships PA system told everyone to take cover, ship was under attack! It was Indians on Island shooting arrows up on to the deck!
I went there in 1992. There were no iPhones in the early 1990's. The climax of Clint Eastwood's The Enforcer(1976) was filmed there.
