Right? Japan only has a 2% foreign population and most of that is still comprised of other Asians. So, when non-Asians screw up there, it makes ALL non-Asian foreigners look bad. The one positive though is that these idiots usually stick to the populous areas where there's non-Japanese people around who can understand them and confront them. I really feel like the shit Logan Paul had done would never be able to be replicated on such a scale today as someone would also coldcock him if he tried. Shame anyone has to do that, but the alternative of letting them go unchecked is worse.

It probably goes without saying, but WAY too many people forget these days that whenever you travel to another country, you're automatically representing where you came from. As wrong as it is to judge an entire people by the actions of a few, you still have the unspoken responsibility to make a good impression wherever you go because that shit affects the rest of us and acting like a total menace makes all of us look bad. CPS was worried my kids would be preyed apon and apparently housing wasn't accountable but the poor mother living where she was placed by the state was some type of "we want to remove your child and sell them to rich people" EMERGENCY. I've lived in Hiroshima for a little over a year now, and haven't been paying attention to any of this. I was touring my visiting brother around Shibuya when we happened to run into this guy on the same street corner seen in the punching video. My brother was fuming, but I was glad I didn't know lol. There was also an old school Yakuza guy on the opposite side of the street arguing and getting shoved away by police as they were making a ring around the streamer. I couldn't tell if it was related though.
Side note, the atomic bombings are pretty remote in the memory of Japanese people, and Hiroshima and Nagasaki are well known for lots of things other than getting bombed, especially in Tokyo. It would be like walking around in California and a Japanese guy runs up to you saying "New York!" Chances are most of the people he harasses aren't so much offended as they just think he's mentally ill or something.

If he said Hiroshima or Nagasaki i would be with you.. but if you name them both there aren't that many obvious connections especially when you look like you're a Gaijin.
And as far as i remember he said something along the lines of "Hiroshima, Nagasaki! We will do it again, because you don't know how to behave" which has much less ambiguously imho..
And your comparison should at least be a Japanese guy running around in California saying "Pearl Habor"
And i am pretty sure if some Arabic looking guy was aggressively going around D.C. saying "New York! We will do it again because you don't know how to behave" he will get clubbed the same way since somebody will make the connection.
