This v-log was awesome to make and participate in. The guys and I drove south to Forksville Pennsylvania to visit for the first time ever. We were not disappointed one bit. We hope you guys enjoy this adventure!

Wow...I knew this looked familar...My dad and used to go EVERY year when I was a boy. This was in the 70s - 80s ya know. It was always a treat for me when dad would come take me out of school early to head for camp. We camped nearby at a camp ground we went to every summer...Higleys park near Dushore. What great memories. We would shoot all the targets, the pops ups...running dear and the trails. Only thing we didnt do was the wild boar hunt. Thanks for putting up this video.
You are welcome. The place has a rich tradition and is the oldest 3D shoot in the world. I'm glad that you enjoyed the video, and it was able to bring back some memories!

well out west here in BC we don't have many big festival type shoots but you want to do lots of up and down hills , we got them. From the Kootney's right out to Vancouver Island. We even get some Desert shoots. We even have the Tick Sticks & ( cactus ) Pricks , shoot in Kamloops BC. You want Hills we got them.

Sorry I don't know all of your names, but I think the one shooting the video is shooting a bow like mine I have Shakespeare Ocala ,but I think yours is a bear which they shred designs and fiber glass for those bows back in the day,mine was my dad's. Then I used it as a teenager now I am 60 we go to a bowhunters jamboree every labor day weekend ,been going my whole life great video keep it up

Actuelly as I think about it..Higleys park was pretty close to the event. We would pass thru Dushore on our way to camp.

Half inch wide Teflon plumbers tape three wraps around on the grooves break it off screw it into your tips will not come loose

HANS!!! The novelty shots are amazing. The 3D course we did was good. There is no camping onsite. That is the only issue. I looked around a bit and not many campgrounds around Forksville, but I did not find many hotels either. But it is a fun event. It's one of a kind! Godspeed Hans!

This is only 3 hours from my house. I'll have to go there one day. Do you know if there's anything like this in central New York state?
There's nothing like that. There is a smaller shoot in Alden New York that is highlighted in a video. You can watch that and see if that one appeals to you. It was held at the Hawkeye bowmen.

That is cool.. that place has a rich history. I am blown away with the history of the shoot.. so glad I went this year.

I just don't understand why us Canadians cant have a festival like this! I live just an hour from Ottawa and there is nothing here - NOTHING!!
