Are you planning a trip to Japan? ✨Learn what you need to book BEFORE going to Japan (+HOW to book) here: lifestylebyremi.com/what-to-book-in-advance-japan/
Aloha Remi, I really appreciate you for marketing this series. I have lived in Japan and go back twice a year to roam and eat. I too have been dragging a parent recently as she waited here whole life to travel and once retired, dad got sick and left her in caregiver role for the last decade. Now she can finally travel but was reluctant (Japanese guilt 😂). We are taking a trip to Fukuoka this year so excited about these video. The cutest thing was as we watch some of your other vids Moms yelled at the tv in joy every time you went somewhere we did and tuns out you were about two week before us at first and at the same time closer to Christmas. Anyway just wanted to drop you a Mahalo, as a content creator I know it can be a struggle to create. Much Respect. Send Aloha from Honolulu. 🤙🏾
Oh wow I love this so much! Thank you for taking the time to reach out and share this with me! Hearing about your mom's reactions really made my heart melt. That's really cool that you are traveling together and going to Fukuoka! I love the Kyushu region. I hope you both have an incredible time. Thank you for all the love and support!
Hi! What JR Pass did you use? I'm planning to get a JR Northern Kyushu Pass for my Kyushu trip, and I also want to ride the yufuin no mori train, thank you!
so i have a four day break between my sessions in my summer study abroad, I might go here then. how far is the place from fukuoka? do you think I should book a hotel there or can I go back in the same day? Loved the vid!
you can totally do a day trip from fukuoka to yufuin. this is what we did! however, if you like onsens--yufuin is known for its hot springs so in that case, I'd recommend spending a night :) i hope this helps!
Hi Remi your vlogs are really great … information and beauty.. after seeing this I cannot seem to decide whether to go to Yukuin or go to Yanagawa hmmmmm … any thoughts ? Would appreciate it very much and thankful in advance
hi! sorry for the delayed reply. both areas are beautiful. yufuin has more to do in the area but it can be a bit more crowded. i'm not sure how helpful that is lol but i don't think you can go wrong either way! i hope you have so much fun on your trip!
Hi Remi Can you provide me with the website to reserve seats for the train to Yufuin I will visit Fukuoka next week and I would like to visit Yufuin. And Thank you, I really enjoyed watching your channel🤍
hi! did u have to book anything in advance (ex. train tickets, tickets to the floral village, etc.) or could everything be bought on the day itself? :D thank u sm!
Hi Remi! Thanks for the video, reminds me very much how I loved it there. We visited twice using a group tour and I would want to go back to spend more time. Would you know if there's a cab from the Yufuin train station who can take us to the Floral Village area and if there are cabs from the village back to train station? Will need one for sure since we can't walk that fast and can't walk for long hours. Thank you!
Yufuin is amazing. I definitely want to go back and maybe check out an onsen next time! :) I did see a few cabs and rickshaws at the station! I hope you make it out to Yufuin again and have a great time!
Haha this place looks amazing and our kids will love it (despite them screaming and making loads of noise the whole time we struggled to watch this video cos it's not Minecraft 🤣👍 ) Your videos are really awesome!! I hope this comment helps propel you to RUclips stardom (or at least keep making cool j-vlogs 😆👍🇯🇵🇦🇺🇺🇲)
@remishimazu Your video is very useful. I am planning a trip to Japan with my daughter. We will arrive in Fukuoka and planning to train to Osaka as well. In this case, can I just buy JR pass and use the same pass on Limited Express Yufuin No Mori train?
yes! you can purchase tickets with your JR pass if you have one. If you don't, you can still pay through credit card, cash, or with your IC card. I always use this JR pass calculator to see if a JR pass is worth it for my trips: www.japan-guide.com/railpass/ I hope this helped! Have the best time with your daughter in Japan :)
@@remishimazu Thanks so much for your reply. I'm holding a 7 days JR Pass as I will be travelling to Osaka/Kyoto/Tokyo from Fukuoka. Does that mean that even with this JR Pass, I would still need to purchase another ticket for Limited Express Yufuin No Mori train?
@@remishimazu already bought 2 reserved tickets online via Shinkansen website and they will deliver to hotel 2 weeks prior to our check-in...very efficient. I plan to return to Hakata by bus is there a late afternoon bus? Thanks for your help again.
I would give yourself more time if you plan to sit down and eat in the area. But you can get through the floral village pretty quick! So, two hours may be enough if you just plan on the floral village and quickly browsing through the shops on the main road leading to the village.
We stayed 3 nights and went to wonderful onsens at least 2X 3X a day . I saw the best Chagall museum I ever saw . Very small but so much better than Paris!!!

you can buy tickets at the station without a JR pass! Heads up, I would try to reserve seats as soon as you can because the train is really popular.

You can use the JR wide pass as well as the JR Kyushu pass! I hope this is helpful. Have so much fun on your trip! :)
