- I had the opportunity to film not 1, but 2 Bugatti Veyrons during a great supercar event. The blue/grey Bugatti Veyron is fitted with a Mansory Exhaust, the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport is stock. The Bugatti Grand Sport is the topless version of Bugatti's 1001HP 16.4 Veyron masterpiece.

If you want to do 0-60 or drags in the Bugatti , shouldn't you keep the wing down ?By keeping the wing up you increase drag reducing drag times/speeds. The only reason i could think of to keep the wing up is if you are doing 200-370km/h when drag is needed to keep the car down but this is a "400m or so" drag ,so the wing must stay down, Am I wrong ? 0_0

Undercover Wookiee Not at low speeds but they do create heaps of drag at high speeds which is the byproduct of down force. If the car (without the wing) didn't want to take off on its own at high speed, it will have a higher top speed without a wing. How much more depends on the pitch of the wing.

The Veyron is a amazing supercar, but it's kinda sad that people who can afford it can barely drive them.. I mean, c'mon, the guys can do worse than people on Audis and GT-R that cost a fraction of it's price and has less than half of it's performance..
People have to understand that the car alone can't do much, you can have the best car in the world, if you're a bad driver the car won't make any difference.

For everyone talking about the white Bugatti you could tell that something was up with his launch control you could see him rolling like his launch control failed which from RUclips makes it look like the Bugatti has a bad launch control system

joshimura1995 The drivers are the problem. Because even though it weighs over 1.8 tonnes, the Veyron will still do 0-60 in 2.8 seconds (or 2.5, in the case of the Veyron SuperSport). Those terrible starts were entirely the drivers' fault. They wouldn't even use launch control. What the..........

Might it be that the Veyron owners are just babying their cars more? from what I've heard (via TopGear, so I'm not claiming to be an expert lol) launch control can be pretty rough on the clutch, and I can imagine that replacement parts for a Veyron might be a bit steep.

Another thing a highly modded GTR doesnt have is reliability. The Bugatti rapes super cars all day long.
Reliability? I know of a gentleman that blew 1 of 4 radiators. He wasn't racing it like this. He just hit it hard every chance he could on the road. I do that daily on my commute to work in my rsx. No problems yet.

I know some smart Alec would come through with that response. The Veyron is a great car. An engineering masterpiece but reliable it's not. The argument here is that the only way a GT-R would keep up with a Veyron is if it were heavily modded. And at that point it would lose its reliability. Which I do agree with. But even the stock Veyron in all it's glory could and has blown up. My Rsx, though not stock, still retains it's reliability. I floor it almost everyday. No problems. It's 11 years old. I understand that when you're in the 1000's of hp you're dealing with temperatures and stresses most cars would and could not handle and even if they did would lose all practicality and would be strictly 1/4 mile cars. I like both cars.

Realized that at a certain point you achieve diminishing return (i.e., it takes more money to achieve smaller amounts of improvement).
At a certain point, you must admit that it becomes more about bragging rights and exclusivity. Super cars just don't impress me as they used to...I must be getting old.

If that Veyron is made with the combination of Aluminum alloys, Titanium, Platinum, Tungsten Carbide, ceramic, carbon fiber, tempered glass.. No plastic and traditional steel then i would say that $2,000,000 car is not overpriced.

Its really cool that the owner installed aftermarket exhaust. But, I really want to see one with upgraded turbos. Maybe twin 88's but Im dreaming because no one is crazy enough to mod a 2+ mil car. first at all the gtr is an 2.8 liter V6 Bi turbo the Bugatti is a 8.0 Liter and got 16W Cilinders... keep in mind that the bugatti got 2.8x the size of the GTR engine and 3x more cilinders as the gtr...
