Excellent talk, excellent camera work (do not underestimate the importance of having someone good behind the camera!), very good sound production. This is what RUclips should be like. Thank you very much for the video! I enjoyed every minute of it.
Jon is a great public speaker with a lot of interesting things to say about his career and the game industry in general. Thanks for the upload was a good watch (or listen in my case).
Just as Jon says........I started in the UK games industry in 99. I went through multiple cancellations. What I worked on that was released was licensed or sequels. After years of doing that, including some amazing hugely successful titles, I left, went off to do other things. Only now am I in a position, financially and mentally, to actual *make* games...... (I actually almost worked with Jon on one title, he was in talks apparently. Luckily for him he didn't sign up to it, it was a disaster.....)
19:26 it didn't get a zzap sizzler?!?!.. no of course not it score 96% overall. presentation 98% .. interesting insight into ocean and how they paid though..
His insight into the implications of "free to play" games is golden. Great stuff.
Indeed! 1:57:40
What an engaging bloke he is. Could listen to him talking about his passion for ages.

I got a little distracted by the irony of him having 'ON HARE' projected ON him toward the end but a great talk.
