I'm enjoying the series!
One thing that can make your life easier in the game: You can use the Q hotkey to clear the mouse cursor when it's holding something and also to pick up the entity it is hovering over. See the ingame tips "clear cursor" and "entity pipette".
And I think the video title is missing the number 6.

At this point, not utilizing the fundamentals is the biggest factor. The issues are about to manifest themselves.

Use TAB to switch weapons.
Turn on pollution filter on map.
Go kill nests that are hit by pollution.
No more attacks.
And quit using sushi belts.
