This whole story is just so sad. We all need the Holy Spirit to show us the ‘spiritual mirror’ which reveals our flaws so we can run to the cross in repentance because it’s so easy when people like you a lot and think you’re so clever to think you’re something when in reality you’re nothing if not by the grace of God so ALL glory must be directed to God. The moment we realise that we stop thinking so much of ourselves, start focusing on the finished work of Christ on that cross and how much it cost to redeem us and submitting to God this resisting the devil so he flees from us.
I pray Margie will have peace and feel the love of Jesus even in these very difficult times.

I really appreciate the way how you pulled this together. Being sober minded and showing compassion. I just want to add one thing to this. Not to discredit Margie, but from my experiences and what I observed, family members can be extremely biased towards their close ones bc. some people are just expert hiding from their close ones and showing only the good side, especially in Asian cultures. That is one of ways to manipulate and take control in a household as the head of the household.

Thank you for your so honest remarks, with great respect and even love for the people who are hurt.
I was shocked to hear about the allegations mentioned.
I now and then go to youtube and listen to different christian leaders and I try to learn. I have a great teacher and my brother is also a fine pastor ,so I have learned a lot already.
I also know R. Zacharias from youtube, and I was very impressed.
I think we have responsibility to listen carefully, ask questions and we should not treat these christian leaders as if they are popstars or as if they are perfect.
While listening I always missed the message that we are disciples from Jesus. That Jesus is the way, the truth and the life, that Jesus is our example.
That Jesus came to restore us, that He brought the Good News that the Kingdom of God is near, for those who are looking.
He brought back what we lost in Adam. A life as God had planned it to be in the beginning.
The christian leaders are also disciples from Jesus.
They should ask their audience to pray for them, to be good teachers and that they can understand His Word better and better, because the Holy Spirit is our greatest Teacher day and night.
This is what we should look for in christian leaders!

This is the biggest fiasco against a Christian minister I've seen in all my 70+ years growing up in the church.
You Christians ought to be ashamed for believing such lies -- that a dedicated servant of God who spent his life spreading the Gospel at great cost physically -- who raised excellent children and was devoted to his wife but especially to the ministry of the Word of God could do such things. That is SO illogical -- but logical to you just because a smear campaign is launched? All hearsay - nothing proven,?
      That's not logical!!
Don't you think the people closest to him would know the truth?
Do you think there is no enemy seeking to discredit and destroy anyone proclaiming the truth of the Word of God - let alone someone who God has used widely?
God has an enemy who, as the Bible says, for now is being allowed to " night and day accuse the brethren." - always attacking God's work - until at last he will be thrown out of Heaven. Rev. 12:10

I don’t understand why Ravi didn’t have a “public” email that was given to those who asked for his email address. That’s fairly standard practice. I work for a big organization, and we are free to email the CEO, but his secretary filters and replies unless she thinks he needs to see it. This protects him. No employees or members of the public have his private email, and we aren’t offended by not having personal-level access to him. Ravi would only need to notify his secretary to watch for an email from someone if he knew it was coming and he wanted to respond personally after the email was screened for inappropriate content and then forwarded to him by his secretary.

Nor can I accept that Nathan’s blog is an objective look at his fathers behavior. Nathan won’t even discuss Thompson affair or other significant items in the report. He simply tries to clear his dads name regarding the 21 allegations of sexual abuse.
If you decide to believe him and Margie that’s your choice but you can’t say you believe the family since it was a family member who agreed with the report right?

There could have been a morality clause which would kick in and force any contractual relationship to be null and void, meaning the house reverted back to RZIM. Everyone is quick to point out RZIM’s “failure”with Margie‘s house, but what about the people that supported that ministry and paid for the house. Was there a legally binding agreement. There are two sides to every story. The bottom line is that Ravi did damage while he was alive and in his death. Did he consider the damage he was doing for his family after his death? The gift that keeps giving. In every ministry there is a morality clause. It’s just part of it. We need to learn more.

Third, those sinful traits from Ravi will filter down to e-v-e-r-y person associated with him. Ian - Oh, I don't know. Maybe emails of love sent to women who were NOT his wife? That might be a clue. Where there is smoke, there IS fire! My Bible teacher ex-husband hid his mistresses letters and their naked photos under the carpet in the attic thinking I'd never find them - but, believe it or not, the Lord led me to them by giving me warning dreams. When I disclosed to this "Christian" man that I'd discovered his stash, he blew up at me, blaming ME for not respecting his privacy and for not submitting to him, as per the scripture, by usurping his authority and finding that which he did not wish me to find. He actually went to the churches asking for prayer for his "unsubmissive wife" - of course he conveniently neglected to tell them the whole story. And, of course, he heavily denied his adultery at first, lying in an Oscar worthy performance, then finally broke down and admitted to it, then decided that his womanizing was all my fault because I was stopping him from fulfilling God's reward to him - being that he was only following in the footsteps of King David and Solomon which was proof of his own perfect walk with the Lord. Mistresses were obviously how God rewarded faithful Bible teachers (It's amazing the gymnastics some people will entertain in their twisted logic so that they don't have to come clean before God). Then I heard that damnable excuse again via the testimonies of one of the women whom Ravi seduced. The perfect lie. What did Jesus say? Many preachers will come to Him and claim to have done this or that in His name and performed many marvelous works, and Christ will say, "Depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness / iniquity / sin." My only hope and prayer is that the cancer, given to Ravi by the ultimate grace of God, froze Ravi in a place from which he couldn't run or hide and there, forced again by the Grace of God, to face his own deceptive, fraudulent behavior and sins against his wife, family, and all those who believed what he said, but more importantly, his sins against Christ, gave him time to repent. My hope and prayer is that he did finally repent and so his soul was saved. We can't take the name of the Lord our God in vain - which means, if you are claiming to be a Christian, you darn well better behave like one.

Remember the show Breaking Bad? Walt kept his meth making factory from his wife but she eventually found out.
I know that's a show and maybe it's true Ravi was a master at hiding his behavior if he's guilty.
Something like Ravi did is not easy to hide from a spouse. Everyone has their weaknesses and moments where they say something or act in a suspicious way when they are guilty of something.
Also why did RZIM not come out during his time when he was alive? If they knew he was guilty then they could have come out sooner. They waited till after his death to now say he was guilty? Something is missing.

This is a financial and legal impossibility. If she wanted the home, she had the means to purchase and maintain it - easily. She is quite wealthy. The million-dollar, massive “parsonage” is under the name of the CFO of RZIM. Because there are countless victims, RZIM cannot continue to totally maintain a luxurious house for Margie. It’s unfortunate, but this was decided by her husband, over decades, by his abusive conduct. Moreover, given the massively wealthy benefactors and friends they have, I’m certain she has been provided another home, free of cost, to her. I am on the fence with whether or not Ravi is guilty... From what his kids say, they've never been able to see the 'evidence' in the investigation. All we have is the report from the independent investigation, but not the actual evidence. The fact the kids and Margie are starting to come out and defend Ravi is encouraging, for me at least.

Is he God? Please believers Abraham received the promise from directly from God but he still went to Hegar's tent. It is flesh for all man. But still our God called Abraham " father of faith " please if that happened because he is human and he is not God. If we have this understanding ...his wife will have peace with God and man.. Zac is still " man of God" Amen !

I appreciate the way that you spoke about this whole story with love and a deeper understanding. Our cancel culture mindsets run very deep but God sees all-nothing is hid from Him and yet His love enters into every one of our often very messy human situations and the cruelty that has resulted, with His power of truth. By mercy and truth which are the first steps can true reconciliation and healing start to begin. We have to go there first before the healing comes. Tks!

It was likely not RZIM's choice whether or not Margie gets to keep her house. They are likely going super bankrupt and do not have the ability to pay property taxes for it anymore.

There are not two sides to every story, there is only one truth, and perhaps that means that there was plenty of guilt to go around.

There are victims. Ravi was very very good at deceiving everyone and did so for decades. The evidence kept piling up. He happened to die just as things were heating up. That doesn't exempt him from the terror and pain he caused to be swept under the rug. He was a bad man who did some great things. But he wasn't innocent

I get a kick out of these commenters who make some snide comment about correctly pronouncing Margies name and if he doesn’t it is disrespectful. This is a VIDEO not a conversation. He is by now well aware of how to correctly pronounce her name. Some of you miss the point of the video. It’s not about pronouncing a name it’s about her email.

None of this changes what I learned from Ravi. I listened to everyone of his teachings and some of them 2 or 3 times just because of the way he taught. Only one person made it through this life on Earth without fault and that person was hung on a cross for yours and my sins. RZIM is making a huge mistake in what they are doing. There was never any fault with his teachings so “Why put a stop to them?”…. Thankfully this world is coming to an end…

Lets weigh these accusations that waited until he was not here to defend himself against a LIFETIME of devotion to the Lord and OTHERS. The fact that RZIM and all who either worked with Ravi or were brought up by him so quickly declare him guilty and fall into line with the worlds "cancel culture". I do not see this guy as sensitive and neutral. He seems to phrase things in a way to assume the chance of guilt more than innocence. His "this is what I would do" seems to create suspicion and judges Ravi after the fact. I dont place him on a pedestal but a lifetime of diligent service to God and others should carry great weight against evidence that doesn't prove guilt...it may point towards it and the one thing I agree with hi saying is "we wont know the truth". WE ALL FALL SHORT and the ones judging Ravi should read the bible that speaks about those who use certain criteria to judge that it will be used in the same measure to judge them. The world WANTS to believe Christians are hypocrites...they do not want Christians to be genuine so it doesnt need proof of guilt to condemn simply enough circumstantial evidence that COULD point towards guilt. The ones I truly am disgusted with is those who Ravi raised up to positions of; leadership in RZIM and now they pull away...distancing themselves and RZIM named after him seeking to cancel out the work of God that he did. Whether guilty or not his books, videos, articles and his very life were in GODS HANDS and I do not feel that any of them are serving any purposes other than Satan's in denying potential believers who may need to hear/see the truth that Ravi was used to share with the world. Ive heard many things that make me doubt the neutrality of this investigation and as the bible says the powers behind such things are not of this world but from the spiritual realm and as the truth project calls it, "the cosmic battle" the power fighting against God and those who love and serve Him derive their power from Satan and his minions and we must be discerning to stand against them “In conclusion, be strong in the Lord [be empowered through your union with Him]; draw your strength from Him [that strength which His boundless might provide]. Put on God’s whole armor [the armor of a heavy-armed soldier which God supplies], that you may be able successfully to stand up against [all] the strategies and the deceits of the devil. For we are not wrestling with flesh and blood [contending only with physical opponents], but against the despotisms, against the powers, against [the master spirits who are] the world rulers of this present darkness, against the spirit forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) sphere.” (Ephesians 6:10-12, AMP)

48 years of ministry to fall in this manner, is sad indeed
However, these are serious allegations, why didn't the victims escalate their plight to the police and media?
Why is the current CEO of the foundation penalizing the wife, by removing her from the home, that was paid for by the ministry set up by her husband?
Like whatever the ministry is worth, which is surely million's, the wife gets nothing this way
Its impossible for a dead man to defend these accusations
Whatever evidence was collected should be made public
    Ultimately GOD will judge Ravi
And if he is guilty, he already knew whats in store
There are two sides here, but one side will never be known

Margie Zacharias shredded the evidence. Think about that. She had all the names and contact info of the massage therapists that could be handed over to Guideposts or the lawyers working for RZIM. We will never know if there are more victims from RZ's behaviors. They will never get justice now. Margie Zacharias refused to hand over other evidence to Martin and Miller. If Margie had proof that she was to live in that house, which is owned by an LLC, she would have a lawyer on it. Margie lived in a million $$ house for free for years. She is worth millions after RZ death. She can afford a home that she will leave to her heirs. The house was owned by an LLC and would never be left to her children. RZ was getting pictures of women almost up to his death. The really sad truth is RZ wanted to spend more time with other women than Margie Zacharias. Many people have said that RZ said his marriage was like a business relationship. He didn't love his wife. That is the sad part about Margie. She gave up her youth and life for a man that didn't love her. RZ wanted to spend time with other women instead of Margie. That emotional abuse is heartbreaking. That is a bitter pill for any woman to swallow. Her letter is beyond sad to hear. My hope is she gets professional help to deal with it. The kids too.
