The reason why Alucard bows to Integra is because it's either her dad, or her ancestors that beat him in a legit one on one fight, but either the dad or the ancestor told Alucard that he must serve the Hellsing family, which is Integra's. Although they had the perfect chance to kill him, they said serve my family for generations and generations to come.
Pretty accurate but i’m pretty sure the reason he doesn’t even try to rebel against her is cause he has mad respect for Van hellsing alucard even dresses like him

In the abridged version Alucard changed to the younger female to mess with Walter. In his fight with Van Winkle, he references everything going to happen. ‘I was a chick in the 40s, i hate everyone equally, and no one can understand my sexual preference’. Then as Walter and Alucard fight (was just a show to demean walter) he transforms. The Paradoxical cat is Schrodingers cat, neither alive or dead, questioning its own reality/existence. Walter failed in his mission and the Major thought he won by poisoning Alucard. Then Integra and Seras (police girl) killed the fat man and destroyed the opposition.

So just a confirm, This review is based on the team 4 stars Hellsing Ultimate Abridged right? Just want to be certain because I heard more than a couple of references To it but the commentary got me kind of confused.

To explain how the cat boy, he is essentially schrodinger's cat, and by intentionally being absorbed by alucard and multiplied every soul he absorbed by "infinity" resulting in his different forms developing all the way up into the four million versions of himself that he then kills to claim the spot as the sole and only alucard to escape his paradox.
(tldr: He solves a paradox with murder, murder, and more murder.
The backstory makes sense, the reason Alucard was angry was because in the story he says to kill a monster a human has to do it, which it was Father Alexander Anderson who was a strong human who went against Alucard throughout the story without fear.
So to see the man you respect as a enemy, become a monster just like you, just to try to kill you. I would agree with Alucard, and became sad/disappointed about it.
The backstory was essential to explaining why Alucard was super upset about Anderson becoming a monster. The placement was important because it wouldn't have made any sense literally anywhere else.
The new cannon for the table:
Kid Buu found his cofin and said "this looks like a great table." And then even more terrors to life decided to join him and all that blood woke him up.

The Alucard turning into girl was his way of fucking with Walter. Walter made himself younger to have a better chance at killing Alucard. Alucard turned back into girl because when they first met, Alucard was a legit girl at that time. So it was a bit of mind fuckery. Plus, Walter really wanted to clap girl Alucard cheeks because of how into the action they were when it came to killing.

Yeah, I feel like people hate on it just for living by the rule of cool, but the show never forgot what it was, so I see no reason to get upset with it. They knew none of this made sense and they just had fun with it, plus they made vampires badass again. How can you be mad at that?

Alucard was captured by Integra's father(or someone in the Hellsing family), two. he drank integras blood so he's technically bound to her in that way too, and three because he simply loves and respects her as a master, and he respected her father too and her being his daughter helped with that too.
He was captured by Abraham Van Hellsing but I don't know if he is her grandfather or great grandfather her father was Arthur Hellsing

Integra is also a pretty much capable woman that bleeds authority n badassery . I mean if she was a wimp through out, I don't think Aluxard would have tolerated her much less respected her the way he did hence why integra knows she has to literally assert her dominance so she doesn't loose control of him (which was why she gave him permission to kill those soldiers in the hotel despite her hesitant on wasting innocent lives but she didn't want to come off as soft towards Alucard.)
He was defeated by Abraham Van Hellsing.

The reason why alucard was disappointed in Anderson using the nail is because Alucard truly believed that Anderson was going to be the second human to beat a monster, the first was integra's great great grandfather Van Helsing

If I remember correctly, the issue with the catboy and Alucard is this: When Alucard consumes a person, he absorbs their soul. When this happens, that person's soul becomes indistinguishable from his own. The cat boy has a modified soul in a way that his own soul will remain his own no matter what happens. So, when he killed himself and Alucard absorbed the cat boy, it created a paradox, because remember when Alucard consumes a person, that soul becomes indistinguishable from his own, but the cat boy's soul will remain his own soul no matter the case. The conflict is the paradox, and since something had to give, Alucard vanished and had to kill the other souls to find the cat boy's soul, to which he basically gained control of, and thus became a living paradox. Both existing and NOT existing at the same time. Think of it this way: Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver, Kain and Raziel fight for the first time, Kain tries to kill Raziel with the Soul Reaver, which is a soul absorbing weapon. However, when Kain strikes Raziel with the blade, it shatters, and becomes the wraith blade for Raziel. The Soul Reaver absorbs souls due to the fact that there is a soul absorbing entity in it. That entity is actually Raziel himself from another timeline. So, when Raziel and Kain fight, and Kain tries to use the Soul Reaver to absorb Raziel, Raziel is also inside the blade, and the blade cannot absorb its own soul, so a paradox occurs, and since something has to give, the blade shatters, and both Raziels become one to deal with it, thus making Raziel also a living paradox.

It's not a retcon that he wasn't at the table. He just didn't feel like showing up until now.
The reason I came to to why Alucard stays loyal to Integra I think has two reasons. One reason that I have heard is that long ago a member of her family was actually able to beat Alucard in battle. Now that is all I know and I don't know if that also means that that one person was able to handle level zero but that is one of them. The other reason could very well be that Alucard was just bored. Why I think this is because I do believe the guy who voices Alucard in the bud basically say that Alucard is just so damn bored and being subservient to Integra finally makes the game interesting. Like I don't know how old Alucard is, but the voice actor said that Integra has shown more spirit and more balls then just about anyone he has ever met. So he willing restricts his powers and limits himself and will only let loose if Integra allows him to, because it pleases him, because it finally makes the game interesting

Always thought Alucard became a servant to Hellsing as a way to die or live on for a Will stronger than his, and everything else was Unworthy til he Deemed otherwise. Turned into a young version of Integra from when she first gave him her blood because her blood was special to him and the one he held in reserve out of respect for his Master.
Alucard from Hellsing deserves that spot
The 'catboy' is a paradox and if Alucard absorbs him, he'll become omnipotent. Literally God. But he ends up gaining control of it & uh... runs everyone's shit again.
1.Its established earlier in the series that having blood offered is more potent then it being taken, as it makes the souls in question fuse together
Schrödinger ,being a living paradox that can stay alive and appear everywhere and nowhere so long as he can recognise his own existence, offered his blood to Alucard and as a result Alucard got his powers as a baseline.
The trouble however is that because Alucard had over 3 million souls inside of him, he couldn't recognise himself. Literally forcing him to just *stop existing*
That is until he expelled every other soul except his own from his body. Which took very nearly 30 years to do.
2. Walter actually came *really close* to killing Alucard. Only failing due to sheer luck and Alucard making him run out of time.
Majors plan was to trick Alucard into drinking every body and then using the cat boy to basically divide by zero

Don't forget. Not only did this not work he is literally unkillable now no matter what happens there's no anime character except for 3 obvious ones that can fuck wit him now

So, in the Hellsing Lore is that if you got turned a virgin, you will be a vampire.. But if you got turned not virgin anymore, you turn into a ghoul, which is a controllable zombie-like mindless vampire.. But if you're killed by a vampire, your soul is owned by the vampire who killed you. For Alucard, vampire or not, he can kill you, and own your "soul". And he killed millions upon millions of souls. He technically can die, but as long as he ran out of souls.
Not gonna lie, the abridged version is the first series I watched. So Hellsing Ultimate abridged is my canon.
If I remember correctly for some reason in the Hellsing universe or at least in the original animation before Hellsing Ultimate, only virgins can become vampires. If you get bit by a vampire but have already...ahem...ya know...then you get turned into a mindless ghoul and a servant to the very vampire that bit you. That's why Seras was turned but all her police mates became zombies and only obeyed the vampire priest.

Important note on the Police Girl situation is that the only way for Alucard to turn her into a full-blooded true Vamp and not a ghouls was if she was a virgin which she was so she turned. Hellsing full true vamps can only turn people of their opposite gender and the opposite must be a virgin.

I love Hellsing Ultimate, one of my favorite animes also the manga mostly does it better on explaining the ending but it still makes sense to me at the end of the day

I believe she's the girl from the original Dracula. They made the Vampires by using her skeleton as she drink his blood. The events of the novel did indeed take place within the world of Hellsing.But it was also likely based on the films as well. He was disguised as her when they fought the Nazis.

The reason Walter was subservient was cause all hunters were bound to a creed of only killing "that which dwells in the night" and integras dad bound him to that creed after Walter's first fight with alucard
To me the ending made sense.
Anyone who knew the mythology of Dracula already knew the backstory, and it was messed tf up. Also I'm pretty sure the seals on his gloves and coffin keep him working for the Hellsing Orginization, I believe Van Hellsing had beaten him and forced him into servitude as atonement.
Plus he can change his form at will he's not bound to just one form he can even be calm the appearance of those that he has consumed
