I've owned 3 and one of the best bikes ever. In my life I've now owned 229 motorcycles, have 9 at present. Consider the Suzuki V-Strom one of the best all around bikes ever. I've owned most of the bikes out there, Moto Guzzi, BMW, every type of Japanese bike, Ducatis, and all the older British bikes. Got rid of my BMW R 1200Gs, enjoyed the little V-Strom better.
Thats an impressive 200+ bikes, mate. So you certainly have a great knowledge of m/c's.I've had a few,but now have the '17 strom650xt. It's the most powerful bike I've ever had.Back in the 70's had Suzuki ts400,honda cb360.But,yeah thanks for your praise of the strom. They're a tough bike too.I've dropped it a few times & it was run over when parked but apart from broken clutch lever, dents & scratches was able to be ridden after wiping down with the ol' oily rag.
I bought GSX S1000GT to replace my '19 V Strom 650XT. I traded in the Strom not because I got tired of it, but because I want to have the experience of owning a liter bike. 1000GT is more than I expected because it is my first liter bike and it has all the latest technology. However, after months on the new bike, I'm still missing the old strom. Such a nice bike. I'm thinking of getting the Strom as my forever bike next year
Suzuki makes good v-twins. I’ve had an original SV 650, a first-year V Strom 1000, a V Strom 650 and my current V Strom 1050. Never an issue with any of them. My current V Strom has almost 39,000 miles and my wife and I are about to go out on it to pick up our car from the repair shop. I’m afraid Suzuki is preparing to put their v-twins out to pasture as they’re introducing new parallel twins in the 800 range. Really a shame. Someone commented that while most manufacturers are trying to make their parallel twins feel and sound like a v-twin, no one is trying to make their v-twins feel and sound like a parallel twin. Kind of says it all really.
Thanks incredible 😊 well done 😊 I am not entirely surprised at the reliability as they are incredible bikes but very impressed you did it 😊 thanks TA 😊
Well, it's all your fault, Mr. TAYM. Because of you and a few others I went and done it. I bought an '07 DL650 a couple of weeks ago with 12,200 miles on the clock and didn't even test ride it until I got it home. It has crash bars, hand guards, bash plate, pannier racks, top case mount, givi top case and panniers, seat concepts seat, upgraded springs front and back as well as fresh tires for $4100 U.S. And, it's my favorite color. I'm very pleased. I'll keep a look out for giraffes on the back roads here in the OZARK mountains of Southern Missouri. Cheers, Wayne
Marvellous 😁 that’s you sorted for the next 100,000 miles or so 😂😂 incredible value for an unbreakable bike😁 Ozark 🤔 loved the tv programme, absolutely brilliant 😁 sounds like you’ve got a great playground for the Vstrom 😁 thanks E 😁
I bought an 09 DL650 with 22k on it about 3 months ago. I've owned more bikes than I can remember (52yrs old) and this one is by far my favorite of them all. Cruises great, rides great, gravel road approved and enough power to get around in traffic all day long. 👍
I have a 2014 650. Have just over 65,000 miles on it. Wouldn’t trade for anything but another one. Absolutely love mine. Does everything. Have done 6 day camping, highway trips on it, multiple 1,000 mile days on it. Never anything but reliability.
1000 mile days on a DL650 means 18 - 20hrs in the saddle when you factor in Food, Gas, and bathroom breaks.. I couldn't hack it.. 420 miles is the most I've covered in one day and it was a round trip.
Have a quick story on dropping a bike. I was on the R1150RT going to New Jersey from Virginia and had not put my feet on the ground for almost 100 miles, highway and backroads, and came to a store to get off and stretch the legs. Pulled into the spot, as I was tired 😴 and exhausted. Yep, forgot about my feet touching down and there it went. Right in front of a woman and a man. Talk about needing help to get a bike of that weight up off the ground. No damage other then my man card needed to be handed over.
I've got a 2022 one. I've put on heated grips, centre stand, lowered footpegs, wind deflector, and top box. It got dropped for the first time yesterday, basically stationary, in my driveway. Surprisingly almost no damage - small area of black plastic on tank slightly scuffed, bar-end weight slight mark, same with brake lever and edge of mirror. Used the technique I've seen on YT to pick it up (putting your back into it) Worked at the second attempt (sore back now) Surprisingly even though I'd just filled it up, no fuel leakage
I. Couldn’t agree more. I have a 2019 as my only bike - used for high days and holidays not commuting. Great handling and power. I’m 6’3’ and it fit me well with lowered foot controls and high seat is super comfy. Givi screen means I never ride with my visor down even at 80 mph. Absolutely love it and will keep mine for a decade at least.
Marvellous, exactly, perfect bike by the sounds😊 people do keep them a long time and do good mileage on them 😊 thank you 😊 am I right in guessing you have an extremely naughty car 🤔😊😂😂
Love the V strom! I have had 32 motorbikes of all brands, shapes and sizes over 45 years of riding and (sadly) recently went back to just one bike, and of course it's a Suzuki.
I bought a 2007 with 13,000 miles on it 10 years ago. I agree with your assessment of the Strom. I paid $3000 for it and could get 3500 for it today. Great all around motorcycle.
80,000 km of small roads only, good pace. The 650 V-Strom is an excellent, comfortable and efficient motorcycle. Surely the best deal on the used market (because very reliable and interesting price). I definitely recommend this bike, for beginners as for more experienced riders. To this day moreover I have never been caught in default by another motorcycle on the road, whatever its power... 👍
Mine's a 2012 model in Fox Orange . Its a 650 and I've had it for 7 years . A superb do it all bike which is a ( marvellous ) machine ......Brilliant 😃
A brilliant video; gonna have to blag a test ride of the 650 soon. Luv your positivity, energy and enthusiasm, never heard you bad mouth anything and that’s cool. Don’t change a thing and ride safe. Neil
You summed up Suzuki perfectly. They tend to make a great bike and then stick with it. The SV650 comes to mind. No doubt an adventure bike would work in the UK climate and I do like a mid-size bike. Not a classically classic bike but a modern classic in it's own right nonetheless. Thanks for showing it!
Always been a fan of the Wee Strom. Had a gen one 14 years ago, since then been buying more expensive latest & greatest, but i always remembered just how good the 650 Stroms are. So last year i bought a new one and this gen 3 is the best Wee yet. I'm getting disillusioned with how complicated many bikes are getting now with too much electronics, so i'm really enjoying the less is more aspect of the Wee Strom. Just renowned reliability, comfort, great mpg and easily enough power for me these days.
Still own a 2007 vstrom DL 650 travelled around OZ 2up few times and have minimal guards taken her into Outback without any problems all need to do Oil the chain or else Never miss a beat.
I have the same color scheme, 7000ks on the clock. Just love this bike and decided it's going to stay on the tar, it just looks too good to get dirty. I have my DR650 to tackle the gravel roads. I cut the stock screen down with a V shape, much much better riding in the clean airflow now. I also made lowering brackets for the footpegs and added HID lights. What a smooth running machine, that V-twin is superb.
Just bought identical model 2022 with 2k for £5995. Cat that got the cream. Most comfortable bike I have had and more than enough go for the roads in uk. 70 mpg caning it
I want what he’s smoking. Mines a DL 650,2010. 17,000 klms. Bought June 2023. Just added a Pirelli Angel GT rear tyre. Living in oz,we have long open roads. After warming the tyre up,160 k’s per hour plus, the bike just wanted more. It’s a touring bike.
Excellent summation. Had a 3rd gen '17, ended up with a '22 XT Adventure. There's something about these bikes that I am truly enamored with. Dependable, comfortable. handles superb in the twisties, cam gear whine of the beautiful V twin. Have a Z900RS and when both are next to one another, sometimes I prefer the looks of the DL. People disparage the DL's appearance, not I. Love the nose cowling and overall style. A while back, had a GS 1200. Now that bike was fugly. Don't miss the problems either.
That's right. They say the stroms look fugly. But I think they look great. Not the sleek ducati gloss but a bike that's tough & capable enough for highways & dirt.
Sure it is, best all arounder, best in the class, probably one of the best bikes ever done. Got me one brand new, after a dozen bikes i have riden. True masterpiece of art, science and japanese tech. 😎
A nice all rounder and I was very tempted with one but just a smidge to tall for me and I'm not a fan of lowering bikes so I ended up buying the CB500X instead and it is a great bike I just wish it had a little bit more power.
This bike was the most mentioned bike in the comments section of my “ageing motorcyclists” video by far. It seems to have the magic formula, alas I never owned one.😢
Yes it just does everything really well, nothing more, nothing less, which to my mind is pretty perfect 😊 Unlike my rally pro which has just decided to stop allowing me to use the quick shifter 😡 😂 will have to take it in 🤔 Thanks Terence 😊
Great bike Mr TAYM, I've had a couple of Vstrom 1000s and a SV650S and they were all brilliant bikes. I've never forgot to put my foot down but i did forget to put the side stand down whilst at my local petrol station, ending up in a heap on the floor, very embarrassing. My local Suzuki dealer is doing pre-reg SV650s for £5995 OTR at the moment, absolute bargain. Ride safe and take care.
I’ve been thinking a lot lately about these size bikes. Does anyone need a 1200cc? You can’t use all the power in the real world, so what’s the point? My mates neighbours, in Canada, have one. He crosses Canada and rides down to Mexico, thousands of miles, regularly. Nice looking bike.
They are exceptional general motorcycles that do just about everything. Something’s they do better than others and somethings they just do ok but for all round ability I think they are outstanding 😊
I agree😁 it’s the hottest fought market place but I think the Vstrom comes top😁 which isn’t bad considering they’ve made it for almost 20 years😁 marvellous 😁 thanks BJ 😁
Lovely review. Although I was originally a Honda boy, and although having never owned one, I always liked the SV650 range, but not a fan of the V-Strom. Thought it was an ugly duckling, but then again, I think that of all “Adventure” bikes 😂. No doubting it’s pedigree and longevity though, with many owners I have spoken to, raving about how good they are on long distance touring, baring in mind it’s relatively small engine. I do like the wheels, spoked but tubeless, and since I was a massive fan of the old Yamaha XT500, I love the anodised gold finish. Cheers
Marvellous, a good naughty bike with character that handles well and goes well all for less than the price of an interceptor, just missing the Indian Magic. I would love a SV thought. 😊 thanks HS
I have a couple of old friends in the trade ...they both told me that the v strom ..is the best all rounder you can buy interestingly..they both said it was an easy answer to the question which bike would you have ? ....I saw an American who needed a bike in a hurry bought one with nearly 50000 miles on it ...he was over the moon with it sold his Harley and bought a new v strom !
Nice review TAYM, After 35 years of not riding and decided to buy a R.E 350 classic. I'm similar size to you and feel I just need a larger bike. The 650 is big enough for my needs . I was recently looking at a Triumph 650 Tiger Sport but I must admit that Suzuki looks a nice designed bike. One thing I did notice , the Suzuki seems to offer
Sorry messed up my typing.. the Suzuki offers good protection keeping the crud from the back wheel hitting your back etc compared to the Triumph. Regards to the police , I might be cheeky enough to overtake a police dog van but definitely not a traffic cop. Thanks Carl.
@@carltonwittland1300 Hi Carlton, I bought a new V-Strom 650 last year after testing the little Tiger. Although the Triumph-dealer was very friendly and offered me the Tiger for the same price incl. accessories like the V-Strom. The gearbox of the Tiger is no comparison to the Suzuki. This bike almost rides by itself. You can do a 300mls ride without any problem. I'am absolutely fascinated, although it is a little bit old fashioned.
As you have probably gathered, I chopped my white tiger 900 rallye pro for a new v-strom 1050xt last year and have no regrets. Test the 1050xt but don't compare it with anything, I'd love to hear your opinion....
I like simple bikes 😀 More bikes need to have gold wheel rims, they look class and way better than the black wheels that come on just about every new bike these days. I am not keen on the headlight or mirrors that look like they have come from a truck, but other than that a great looking bike. I met a chap a couple of weeks ago down in Kirkcaldy and he had the 1050 version and was a decent looking bike when you see then in the flesh. Nice bike ride👍
Brilliant bike , along with Tiger 800 best all round bike ever, The Tiger gives you a bit more of everything. SV 650 currently on offer new at £6299 at some dealers ..Makes the RE interceptor look over priced in my opinion!
The sv650 is an absolute hoot, love it just as much as the Vstrom 😊 not been able to get on one for a while but Orwell have said when the roads dry up and one is available 😊 thank you 😊
Those Royal Enfield look good, but as a Brazilian RUclipsr explains the maintenance of his Interceptor is double the cost of that of his V-strom. If you want something a bit more classic looking you can get the SV with round headlight and the same brilliant eternal V engine ;)
Mr. TAYM, thanks for helping me make it through a stormy Wednesday here in Texas, USA. Ah yes, stuck behind the policeman. I always seem to have the urge to pass them doing a wheelie, must be an unscratched itch from my youth. As far as the Vstrom, I do recognize it's good qualities; however, as is often the case with adventure bikes, I can't seem to make it past the beak.
I have a 2013 DL650. Great bike, but a bit top-heavy. So much so that at my advancing age (69), with the tank bag and metal panniers full of stuff (as you do), it's getting awkward for me to handle. Unfortunately, I'll be looking for something with a lower center of gravity around my 70th birthday. I think I'll check out the Honda NC750X. Sure, it's a bit heavier, but the CoG is much lower if I believe what I read. It'll be sad to see the 'Strom go.
I’ve owned a lot of bikes but never a Suzuki. Not that I haven’t wanted to though. (Even if it’s sporting gold wheels. 😉) I’d love to own a DR 650 before they go away and I’ve always respected the VStrom 650 and the mighty Hayabusa. Honorable mention to the TL1000R or TLR1000, I can’t remember the designation, when they would go by the sound was Splendiferously Marvelous!
@@TAYM Just bumpy roads here in deepest Scotlandshire. In the summer I put my helmet under the seat and my jacket in the topbox (then walk around the woods to meet doggos). Oh and when it rains, the fairing keeps you dry, it's marvellous.
Clutch light as a feather? I would argue it's normal. My left hand starts to hurt, cramp a bit in city traffic where I have to use the clutch often. Although, I think the issue is with the lever being too far from the grip, not the amount of strength needed to pull it.
Never rode one.. Not ever. Few of my mates had them but I don't like to ride other people's bikes. I had 3 Transalps in those days. But the V-strom is higher in specs.
As you said, I have the 1050XT in Marlboro Red and White, It's my 2nd V-Strom, My 1st being 2020 650XT, I liked the 650 for solo riding and it made a Superb daily commuter, but the 1050 is a couple of leagues up, the extra 35bhp and 40nm of torque make a huge difference. You're more than welcome to ride mine for a non-comparison! 🤣🤣🤣
Always liked that bike but seems a bit overpriced for such a long running model. Had a TL1000S in 1998, Suzuki's V twin is a great engine. The reason the police car slowed down was he entered a 30 mph zone. Good you didn't overtake them.
Love the wheels TAYM get rid of that awful can and put a nice one on and she's there no good for the vertically challenged but none of them are .😉So Suzuki V Strom or Triumph Tiger hmmm what do you think?.😊Interesting and proper throttle cables too ,Suzuki's are a fabulous brand I have had a few and when I got my most recent car went for a Suzuki because of the experiences of the bikes .Having said that my current main bike is a Yamaha but I would have a Suzuki as well of course . I am thinking I will take a look at the 650 Strom not sure it would fit me though .👌👌👍
Very nice bike m8. The dealer with benelli TRK 502 has the identical vstrom for sale as well. $5000k more than the Benelli. Not sure if i can see the extra 5k difference, though. Might be because I'm a tight ass 😆😅🤣😂 but I'd have to sell the classic to get the vstrom. Not happening 🫣😠Great test ride. Cheers m8
We seem to be spoilt for choice. Lots bikes. I am looking for bike around 650 cc to get from A to B about 150 km, some touring 2 up and also touring with option to explore. Maybe this is it. Then a friend goes have a look at the Triumph Tiger...
😂😂😂😂 the tiger 660 is marvellous 😊 but I bet after if you test a Vstrom first, after trying the tiger, you will go back to it😊 it is a tough choice between them😊 thanks HG
@@TAYM thanks for your reply. I was thinking the v strom. I am loving my RE 350 classic. It has got me enjoying 2 wheels after a long break. I will ride the Super Meteor 650 when it gets here in April hopefully but not sure about it. Have not riden v strom or tiger. I do need to get onto that and have a new bike sorted before next summer in November down here. .
Thanks for nothing TAYM coz now I'm looking at V Strom reviews coz of your recommendation 🤣. What an engine though, I can hear an SV650 calling me👍 cheers
hi. nice video. I am also 6f 2 in..and am interested in V strom 650, so I am most interested in ergos...how did you fit on it? Did you feel cramped at all? Knees? Bottom? Vibrations? thanx
Fitted lovely 😊 as I might have mentioned, I did over 45k miles over 3 years on one and it didn’t miss a beat. All weathers, rain, snow, wind and sun. Thanks U😁
@@TAYM hi taym just got back home they cannot deliver the new bike till Friday so I said leave I’ll bring the scram over today which I’ve done and Friday riding the interceptor over and picking the new bike up saves £80 delivery I know rip off £80 that’s Drayton Croft motorcycles for you. I don’t why I keep going back to them Al I got for the bikes was £7200. Both cost me £11500 £4300 I’ve lost but I’ll put that behind me and I’ll be enjoying the new bike with a huge grin factor 😂😂😂🤣🤣👍👍
Saw your video, after looking around a lot and picking up my 2023 tomorrow (mag wheels unfortunately but easier to clean lol) My first bike was a Suzuki GP100U in 1987, then loads of Yammies and BMWs, coming back to Suzuki 37 years later (still have a Yamaha LC in the garage for sunny days lol)
That’s the beauty of the Vstrom, it’s what ever dog you would want it to be😊 Larry was an Australian boxer and he was happy because he never lost and in fact won £1000 😊 oh and that was in the 1800’s 😊 marvellous 😊 thanks Dung 😊
@@TAYM . Thanks for the explanation of Larry . But I think the VStrom would definitely be a Labrador. I can't imagine it as a chihuahua or a rottweiler.
Would this make a marvellous 😁 first big bike ? Had a go on a big bike for first time a sv650 (I have a little gsxs) wow the 650cc felt great to ride my 125cc feels like balancing on a knife edge but I do feel that riding that helped me improve so 650cc felt great, booked mod1 July 🤞p.s great video
Wow weird or wot just purchased a 12yr old model in very good fettle sold my new tracer 7 gt..... 2011 vstrom has no tech wotsoever👍🙂🙂....missed my vstrom 1050xt but was tad heavy so went to 650....
@@stevenwatling3160 I found the Tracer just a bit too mixed up 😊 lots of individual good points that just didn’t seem to mix well resulting in a confused bike🤔 the Suzuki knows exactly what it is and what it needs to do 😊 if you know what I mean 😊
Indeed the Ténéré is a superb machine. More fun and fun to drive. And I also prefer it for the look. On the other hand, the V-Strom is much more comfortable. You can ride all day with the Suzuki without any worries. Over several days. You will suffer with the T7 under the same conditions. And the Suzuki will be more 'precise' on the road to put on the angle (but heavier too). The choice will depend a lot on its use (the Ténéré being of course much more easy in the paths).

Absolutely 😊 fantastic do it all bike that does it all well 😊 thanks JS 😊
Still own a 2007 vstrom DL 650 travelled around OZ 2up few times and have minimal guards taken her into Outback without any problems all need to do Oil the chain or else Never miss a beat.
That’s similar to my experience of the Vstrom 😁 marvellous bike😁 thanks RDG 😁
I have the same color scheme, 7000ks on the clock. Just love this bike and decided it's going to stay on the tar, it just looks too good to get dirty. I have my DR650 to tackle the gravel roads. I cut the stock screen down with a V shape, much much better riding in the clean airflow now. I also made lowering brackets for the footpegs and added HID lights. What a smooth running machine, that V-twin is superb.
Two exceptional Suzukis 😊 Marvellous 😊 Thank you
Nice one TAYM, the Vstrom 650 is the only ADV bike I've ever considered buying, they seem to go forever and that engine is a peach....
Absolutely H, absolutely 😊 thanks 😊
Just bought identical model 2022 with 2k for £5995. Cat that got the cream. Most comfortable bike I have had and more than enough go for the roads in uk. 70 mpg caning it
They are incredible bikes for sure 😁 top runner for my next winter bike😊 thanks V 😊
Probably the BEST middleweight all-rounder……so reliable and relatively cheap ownership.
wOOw what a brilliant machine.

Fantastic review. It is refreshingly upbeat and positive. Great personality
Thanks Charles 😁
Seriously debating getting one of those, great video, enjoyable watch on a soggy summer evening 👍
My own opinion is that this bike is about the best all rounder you can get for the money😁
😂😂😂😂 thanks VW 😁
Excellent summation. Had a 3rd gen '17, ended up with a '22 XT Adventure. There's something about these bikes that I am truly enamored with. Dependable, comfortable. handles superb in the twisties, cam gear whine of the beautiful V twin. Have a Z900RS and when both are next to one another, sometimes I prefer the looks of the DL. People disparage the DL's appearance, not I. Love the nose cowling and overall style. A while back, had a GS 1200. Now that bike was fugly. Don't miss the problems either.
Brilliant, they are an excellent motorcycle that just keeps going 😊 thanks FB 😊
That's right. They say the stroms look fugly. But I think they look great. Not the sleek ducati gloss but a bike that's tough & capable enough for highways & dirt.
@@coconuciferanuts339 Totally agree!
"Marvellous" count up to five in the first 1:45! Like the DL650's engine, I could listen to this all day.
Thanks David 😁 I wish I could get a count on every video 😁
Sure it is, best all arounder, best in the class, probably one of the best bikes ever done. Got me one brand new, after a dozen bikes i have riden. True masterpiece of art, science and japanese tech. 😎
Absolutely 😁 thanks 😁
In my opinion it's just the perfect bike.
Absolutely 😁 thanks Jo😁
A nice all rounder and I was very tempted with one but just a smidge to tall for me and I'm not a fan of lowering bikes so I ended up buying the CB500X instead and it is a great bike I just wish it had a little bit more power.
Thanks Mike 😊 yes the Vstrom has that extra bit that makes faster and longer journeys easy 😊
Wow that is cheap! Incredible 😊 and very tempting in this year of the naughty boy bike 😂😂😂 thanks TG 😊
If money wasn't an object, which mid-bike would you get. I think this Susuki is a winner!
Cheers
Thanks Ian 😊 yes a very difficult bike to criticise apart from the looks and that’s a personal preference 😊
New subscriber here 🤙 I love how much you love your v strom. I have the same feeling for my Honda PCX, and I hope I feel the same about my new MT09.
Thanks TT 😁
I had 2 SV650’s in 2018 I bought a red one then saw a black one with a red frame so I had to change it 😂thanks for the video
Thanks WR 😊 wise men your old friends, they are an incredible machine😊
either you're a good salesman or I'm easily led - I could buy one of these as well 🤣
😂😂😂 I am a terrible salesman 😂😂 could you imagine 😂😂 thanks Ice 😊 hope you are feeling better
😂😂 I often do that 😂😂 yes it’s a tough choice but I think the Suzuki pips it, maybe 🤔 thanks CW 😊
@@lotharhafner9578 much appreciated for the information re Triumphs gearbox.👍
As you have probably gathered, I chopped my white tiger 900 rallye pro for a new v-strom 1050xt last year and have no regrets. Test the 1050xt but don't compare it with anything, I'd love to hear your opinion....
Thanks Stew, Richie has offered me to ride his 1050XT 😊 that will be marvellous 😊
Thanks BV 😊 some say wardrobe door mirrors 😊😂😂
I know what you mean 😊 on both points 😊😂😂 thanks DT 😊
I have a 2013 DL650. Great bike, but a bit top-heavy. So much so that at my advancing age (69), with the tank bag and metal panniers full of stuff (as you do), it's getting awkward for me to handle. Unfortunately, I'll be looking for something with a lower center of gravity around my 70th birthday. I think I'll check out the Honda NC750X. Sure, it's a bit heavier, but the CoG is much lower if I believe what I read. It'll be sad to see the 'Strom go.
Thanks XPS 😁 yes, really linked the NC too. 😁
I’ve owned a lot of bikes but never a Suzuki. Not that I haven’t wanted to though. (Even if it’s sporting gold wheels. 😉)
I’d love to own a DR 650 before they go away and I’ve always respected the VStrom 650 and the mighty Hayabusa. Honorable mention to the TL1000R or TLR1000, I can’t remember the designation, when they would go by the sound was Splendiferously Marvelous!
Absolutely 😊😂😂😂 you sound own at least one before you go the the great highway in the sky 😊😂😂😂 thanks PW
@@TAYM I couldn’t agree more. 😊
Completely agree, I had the exact same bike. If you think that's a good utilitarian vehicle try what I'm riding now, an X-ADV. Splendiferous.
They certainly look good fun but pretty expensive. I will have to see if I can get on one. 😊 have you been of Road on it at all? 😊 thanks NR
@@TAYM Just bumpy roads here in deepest Scotlandshire. In the summer I put my helmet under the seat and my jacket in the topbox (then walk around the woods to meet doggos). Oh and when it rains, the fairing keeps you dry, it's marvellous.
@@nigelren3719 😂😂😂😂 marvellous 😊
Clutch light as a feather? I would argue it's normal. My left hand starts to hurt, cramp a bit in city traffic where I have to use the clutch often. Although, I think the issue is with the lever being too far from the grip, not the amount of strength needed to pull it.
I guess it’s all relative 🤔 thanks D😁
Never rode one.. Not ever. Few of my mates had them but I don't like to ride other people's bikes. I had 3 Transalps in those days. But the V-strom is higher in specs.
You should try one 😊 they are a bike that needs to be ridden to be appreciated I think 😊
Marvellous 😊 that’s sounds like a good idea 😊
Yes I would be interested on your thoughts on both bikes as long as it us a non comparison 🤣

Always liked that bike but seems a bit overpriced for such a long running model. Had a TL1000S in 1998, Suzuki's V twin is a great engine. The reason the police car slowed down was he entered a 30 mph zone. Good you didn't overtake them.
TL you say 🤔 very naughty indeed😊 I survived my time on one 😊 what a time and what a sound 😁 thanks S 😊
Yes, best all-round motorcycle ever...
Absolutely 😁
Thanks Crumb 😊 the Triumph 660 tiger is marvellous too but think the Vstrom pips it and dare I say, better built 🤔 maybe 😊
Cheers m8
I need to get on a trk502, good reports on them over here. Wouldn’t mind one myself based on the looks 😊
Hello Ian how are you. Have a nice weekend 😊
If it were a dog , what breed would it be ? 🐕
But who is Larry and why is he happy ? 🤔

The price tag is a little bit higher than YAMAHA Tenere 700 in Canda. Hard to choose.
Yes, never ridden a tenere but heard lots of good things. They are little bit like the Vstrom in that they are a silent hero😊 thanks EY 😊
What oil do put in the engine I have one so
Depends where you live really but think the recommended is 10/40 😁 thanks M 😁
