The bizarre thing was that Trump was not an interventionist and the whole China thing just came out of nowhere. I have no idea why Milley thought President Trump would just suddenly want to launch a nuclear attack on China with two weeks left in his first term. It made no sense other than Milley was just groveling before his handlers in Beijing.
