I have this bag and I like it, but it gets a little tight with my iPad mini in its aftermarket portfolio. The portfolio covers the pencil so I have to position it just right to zip it up. I’m debating the 7L. I have the 7L crossbody, but it feels a little too rigid and opens from the top.

It can’t fit laptops only iPads, check the measurements online for both
