It's not a negative stainIt is positive staining method in capsule staining (Anthony's capsule staining)
The only copper sulfate I've been able to find is a dry powder called copper II (cupric) sulfate. Is this what I need for the capsule stain procedure and if so how do I mix it for the liquid form in the video?
El Jardinero Yes, dissolve 20 g per 100 mL (20 % solution) in water. Do it slowly because it heats.
copper II (cupric) sulphate = copper sulphate
