oddly enough, this has happened to me before. I was fighting in a dream and woke myself up by throwing a haymaker punch into the air above my bed. I was in a college dorm at the time and my roommate looked at me like I was actually insane.
That made me smile. Briefly. My face quickly returned to its natural scowl.

I use this tactic all the time. You can also keep getting someone's name wrong by just a bit, to keep them in a place of subservience. Peg becomes Pam or Pat, Scott becomes Steve or Stu. 👍 🇺🇸

Work tried to send me on a "training weekend", we were expected to share hotel rooms. I told them I sleepwalk and suffer from night terrors, I can't guarantee the safety of anyone in the hotel. I haven't been asked on any more "training weekends", my work colleagues hardly talk to me anymore. I've never been as happy at work.

Give us "Young Ron Swanson - The Early Years". Imagine Ron turning 14yrs old and receiving a book handed down through all the Swanson males, "Be a Swanson Man" in which it describes and gives lessons on the challenges he must overcome to become a "Swanson Man". Chapters in the book, "How to make a Cabinet from Teak", "Satisfying a Women", "Minding Your Business", "Cooking Steak" etc etc.
That book would have 3 words in it. “Be a man.”
