I like 'Attack' for action sequence, 'Runway 34' for storyline and VFX and 'Freddy' for storyline and main character 's personality. I didn't get bored by watching these three movies...
Chup's budget was 10cr and its estimated net collection was 20cr. So basically it can't be considered flop. However I agree it deserved much more attention as well as collection.

The thing is that people nowadays think that spending their money for a movie every weekend is a foolish thing as the movie will release on OTT after a month. That's why they save their money only for high-budget, star-studded movies and don't want to go for these masterpieces.

I watched "an action hero" on 1st day 1 show, and it was totally worth it . The action, the humor, the twist was mind blowing. It's very sad to see flim like "an action hero" couldn't make it. And people are blaming bollywood

Action Hero is a slick and smart action thriller, it deserved so much praise👏👏 and Bhediya is a really GOOD horror-comedy unlike the saturation of which we have seen in recent years; and the joke is those shitty horror-comedies made its budget back!!

Watched An Action Hero about a week ago and must say one of the best films of this year. Dialogues were hilarious (especially of Jaideep) and action scenes were just superbly executed (especially the pistol 360 shot in the ending). Ayushman finally in a new avatar felt refreshing. Some dialogues were controversial though but this did not deserve to be a flop ☹️☹️☹️

Movies these days are divided into 2 broad categories: Theatre & OTT. Makers have to realize where it will work. Another equally big reason is we don't focus on writing; pushing the story, bad dialogues & lost plots usually turns you off. I think for the past decade writing has not evolved (mostly because Bollywood is spending less here).
I still can't believe that's ATTACK is flopped in the box office....I watched it in theatre and it's one of the best theatre experience of this year's for me.....The Actions are amazing never seen in a bollywood movie before,BGM is top notch.... screenplay is tight ....the best quality is that' they didn't streched the story.....i wish our audience is matured enough to support this kind of movie in theatre but sadly they didn't 😞😞

I watched both badhaai do and laal Singh chaddha. I enjoyed both of the films and honestly I think films should be judged only for their content and not because of any political agenda or something personal related to the actors .
Action hero was too good. Especially the dialogs. They nailed the haryanavi conversations. It was awesome. As much as I have watched films, I never saw the sass of haryana portrayed so well. Like gangs of wasseypur portrayed bihar. Overall, the writing was so satirical on the real world instaces. If properly discovered on ott, it can become a cult classic with time as its so representative and defining for this past decade in terms of media and politics.
Bhediya became flop because a week ago, Drishyam 2 was released & became a major hit...most of the middle class audience either already used up their budget for movie on Drishyam or were left with choice to choose between Drishyam & Bhediya...and we all know what most preferred
In my opinion, Runway 34 and An Action Hero are the two criminally underrated yet best films from Hindi cinema that deserved to be hits at the box office!! Bhediya and Doctor G deserved to be hits as well, sadly audience rejected them. But Doctor G is a hit on Netflix! Loved Runway 34 and An Action Hero, An Action Hero is a film that is way ahead of it's times!

Sir I am a cinephile too, sir why didn't you added vikram vedha 2022 in this list as i seen that in theater and i seriously i loved the movie and its concept. I also watched vikram vedha 2017 which is 90% similar but 10% change in climax suspense that who is behind vedha to get him arrested is quite appreciable. I think just use inpiration word instead of remake will make huge box office difference 😂💯

You forgot Rakshabandhan it's one of the best Akshay Kumar's film I watched this film with my family and we literally cried I didn't expect from the film because of reviews and collection and regret at the same time not to watch it at the theatre.
Attack was a Masterpiece Movie , it will be remembered later just like Bhavesh Joshi. Attack had a Great script , Good Acting , Great Action Overall good CGI AND JOHN looked Fabulous. Don't know why people didn't like it. Instead of Watchi Movies like RADHE and Race 3 people should watch these movies just for Once.
Guys can we just stop calling every other movie a masterpiece. I have watched attack and I am shocked too it flop though that romantic angle was feeling forced but it was too little of the movie so can be ignored, other then that no other complaints. Creative visual style a really great cinematic and direction John have his best and action was too good and jokes were kinda funny like okish but hey it’s a action drama movie so funny part can be ignored too but definitely not a masterpiece

LSC seemed pretty forced when compared to FG. An example, comparing, the Elvis Presley scene with the SRK scene, in FG Elvis P was staying at Forest's place so they spent plenty of time together while in LSC the SRK scene was just him randomly going to young Laal and learning his signature step. Hope you get what I mean.

In my opinion 1. this boycott trend is hitting bollywood hard, people are going too far for it don't know why, what's the motive. 2. People don't wanna see experimental good bollywood movies, whether they might like some light hearted comedy kinda movies. 3. It's a trend, must admit it, that people are showing their support for experimental or just sometimes mass south movies due to words of mouth, and also they're good with the religious and cultural point outs at times to trigger. It's like people are good with that, but they'll not support bollywood, and Twitter pages are doing their paid work showing and spreading hatred. Everyone might not like what I just said, but it's a patter in the recent time, where the loss is for the maker and sometimes for the people too, in case like people are spending their money on bhool bhoolaiya 2 and missing out on attack kinda movies and later will say bollywood is shit.
I watched An Action Hero in theaters where there were only 3 ppl including me and my friend. Tbh it was badass. I am lucky enough to experience it in theaters. Jaideep and Ayushmaan killed it in their role also a special mention to that Arnab Goswami's doppelganger 😂😂
Lal singh chadda is a really good movie but I think it was a little bit lengthy and had a lazy ending some scenes could have been cut out like in ending laal running across India and a few more major historical events. I think if it would not have been compared to forrest gump the film might have done a bit better

Don't think Jersey will be featured here but seriously it was one of the best movies i saw this year in theatre ( i hadn't watched the original ) it deserved to be seen by more people . I know a large number of people saw it already on RUclips but the hardwork and acting brilliance deserved more appreciation than what it didn't got. I would say the train scene was done better by Shahid honestly. Apart from it Laal Singh Chadda also deserved much better numbers it got well appreciated after its release on Netflix thankfully which was destroyed by other RUclipsrs. Also the most undeserving movie to get hit was KGF 2.

Another Reason - Bollywood doesn't promote movies having new content, Fresh Concept, Realistic Movie like before (untill 2013 max movies were promoted good or bad, Ex. Shanghai, English Vinglish, Gangs of Wasseypur, Kahaani, Tum Mile, Delhi Belly,etc)...that's why Audience is not Aware, South Industry of all languages promote each movie of their heavily, even marathi, Bengali, Gujarati, do the,same Bollywood does same for creative songs, they don't promote these songs, but instead promote.....songs and movies made with shortcut That's why people think Bollywood has no content, awareness is important. Even they didn't promote Attack, Vadh, An Action Hero, Tara V/S bilal, Sardar Udham, Runway 34, Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui, Hurdang, Toolsidas Junior, Jayeshbhai Jordar, Nazar Andaaz,etc. Maybe either due to having no faith in good movies getting success or they hate genuine artists
Even I have seen, Audience from other industries are much more sensible and mature, they do know a good film should be supported, though worst nonsense movie get success there, but they don don't let a good movie fail....and Hindi Audience is very naive, All are into the dubbing Company made mindset which was started by Goldmines and Sony Max long back in 2012 or so, and it increased by 2017. Truth is Hindi Audience mentality suck as much as Bollywood in promoting good films.

I loved LSC. Amir is among the most versatile and hardworking actors in Indian Cinema and also has given the Highest amt of All Time Blockbusters i.e. 5. Its a great film
Laal Singh chadda is good but I was not satisfied with the approach with which Aamir played The character of Laal. Also saving the terrorist was a streach otherwise screenplay, cinematography, and adaptation was brilliant
My honest opinion about Laal Sigh chadda (8 months late 😝) is that they should've casted different actor and actress and its because of their age. They are 55+ and 40+ but they portrayed the role of college students (19-20 years) and you can clearly feel it that from no angle they look like it.

Blame audience wow.. Real mature.. If bollywood stops coping and think after pandemic ppl will see runway 34 or lal singh chadda which was boring.. Badiya is hollywood concert and there are so many movies of man converting to wolf.. Some small budget movies are good but not made for theater but OTT like Jund.. Shamshera, Prithivi raj etc were reallyally boring movies.. Bollywood is also says what you r saying and patting there back instead of giving writer good money to write good scripts.. Race, housefull etc series are so bad and after pandemic I don't see any scope of such movies becoming hit.. Ppl stopped watching crap movies as they got exposure to good content during pandemic

Movies these days are divided into 2 broad categories: Theatre & OTT. Makers have to realize where it will work. Another equally big reason is we don't focus on writing; pushing the story, bad dialogues & lost plots usually turns you off. I think for the past decade writing has not evolved (mostly because Bollywood is spending less here).

I still can't believe that's ATTACK is flopped in the box office....I watched it in theatre and it's one of the best theatre experience of this year's for me.....The Actions are amazing never seen in a bollywood movie before,BGM is top notch.... screenplay is tight ....the best quality is that' they didn't streched the story.....i wish our audience is matured enough to support this kind of movie in theatre but sadly they didn't 😞😞
Filmmakers was also confident about that but they released it after 1 week of RRR. I think bcoz of RRR craze it flopped.

Action hero was too good. Especially the dialogs. They nailed the haryanavi conversations. It was awesome. As much as I have watched films, I never saw the sass of haryana portrayed so well. Like gangs of wasseypur portrayed bihar. Overall, the writing was so satirical on the real world instaces. If properly discovered on ott, it can become a cult classic with time as its so representative and defining for this past decade in terms of media and politics.
Bhediya became flop because a week ago, Drishyam 2 was released & became a major hit...most of the middle class audience either already used up their budget for movie on Drishyam or were left with choice to choose between Drishyam & Bhediya...and we all know what most preferred

I also watched vikram vedha 2017 which is 90% similar but 10% change in climax suspense that who is behind vedha to get him arrested is quite appreciable.

I have watched attack and I am shocked too it flop though that romantic angle was feeling forced but it was too little of the movie so can be ignored, other then that no other complaints. LSC seemed pretty forced when compared to FG. An example, comparing, the Elvis Presley scene with the SRK scene, in FG Elvis P was staying at Forest's place so they spent plenty of time together while in LSC the SRK scene was just him randomly going to young Laal and learning his signature step. Hope you get what I mean.
Doctor G was a wholesome entertainer. Whoever watched it completely enjoyed it, audiences laughed their lungs out!

1. this boycott trend is hitting bollywood hard, people are going too far for it don't know why, what's the motive.
2. People don't wanna see experimental good bollywood movies, whether they might like some light hearted comedy kinda movies.
3. It's a trend, must admit it, that people are showing their support for experimental or just sometimes mass south movies due to words of mouth, and also they're good with the religious and cultural point outs at times to trigger. It's like people are good with that, but they'll not support bollywood, and Twitter pages are doing their paid work showing and spreading hatred.
Everyone might not like what I just said, but it's a patter in the recent time, where the loss is for the maker and sometimes for the people too, in case like people are spending their money on bhool bhoolaiya 2 and missing out on attack kinda movies and later will say bollywood is shit.

Lal singh chadda is a really good movie but I think it was a little bit lengthy and had a lazy ending some scenes could have been cut out like in ending laal running across India and a few more major historical events. I think if it would not have been compared to forrest gump the film might have done a bit better

Honestly, I'm sad for Lal Singh Chaddha, it doesn't deserve to be a flop but sadly it's became a disaster, Atleast could have recovered its budget..
Don't think Jersey will be featured here but seriously it was one of the best movies i saw this year in theatre ( i hadn't watched the original ) it deserved to be seen by more people . I know a large number of people saw it already on RUclips but the hardwork and acting brilliance deserved more appreciation than what it didn't got. I would say the train scene was done better by Shahid honestly.
Apart from it Laal Singh Chadda also deserved much better numbers it got well appreciated after its release on Netflix thankfully which was destroyed by other RUclipsrs.
Also the most undeserving movie to get hit was KGF 2.

My honest opinion about Laal Sigh chadda (8 months late 😝) is that they should've casted different actor and actress and its because of their age. They are 55+ and 40+ but they portrayed the role of college students (19-20 years) and you can clearly feel it that from no angle they look like it.
