Very well produced video. So, I have been using the 260 since the beginning. Using the Sweed before that. I have shot more big game with it than one can fathom. Most of my game is whitetail deer but as an Alaskan Big Game Guide, I carry a Tikka CTR in a 260. The 10 round mag is very important. I usually have to shoot at game wounded and running. This is primarily for dall sheep and caribou but I have backed up my hunters on 5 or 6 grizzly bears and some moose with it. Not many people have hit grizzlies with a 6.5 . The truth is that the game can't tell the difference. I've floored them with it as would any hit from a high powered rifle. I started out using Bergers switched to eld-x then to barnes and now to the 142 nosler ab -lr. The eld-x frag apart as the bergers. The barnes doesn't have a big frontal dia and not destructive enough. The nosler is just right. Good luck with your channel.
Thanks Starkey. It’s great to hear from someone who has been using the .260 for so long. That sounds like an incredible job to have. I am glad you are having good luck with Nosler, I use Nosler projectiles as well and quite like them. 👍
@@benandbenny p.s.. I carry a sauer 100 in a 9.3 on the Alaskan Pen and Kodiak for the big brown bear. Holds 6 rounds. Barns x. Before that I carried a 35 whelen. Poor man's 375 h&h.
I believe the 9.3x62 is a truly underrated cartridge. Haha, poor mans 375 H&H. That’s exactly what I say in the video 😂 Those are some massive fish you have on your channel 👍
It’s amazing how many cartridges failed after launch because of poor marketing or incompatible rifle options. The 284 Winchester shared a similar fate. I’m convinced if Winchester has a successful launch it’s an accident.

Thank you. The 9.3x62 will be going up next Wednesday night.
