I think edgeworth's choice is the best. The ability to fly would make you a lab rat for scientists and the Midas' touch and never feeling full again are kind of greedy. Fran's wish for knowing which places hurt most is useless since this can be answered anyways. The ability to read minds however is subtle and cannot be detected. You immediately know one's opinions on you or his next plans which is more useful. Also how the heck do you still only have 16 subs???

(Note that he does not have any superpowers so in reality he is just the team's motivational speaker.) Maya: Psychic abilities, can read minds. (But seriously, why even bother when we have Professor X?) And of course, the wildcard, Phoenix's client who has been accused of murder, The Joker. Real name, unknown, this notorious serial killer has committed a string of robberies and homicides, which ironically seem like a hobby to him. When interrogated, he claimed he did so to "keep his sanity intact" which if you ask me is a load of bull. Give him the chair.
This is really really good! I havent seen someone hit so close and accurate for these characters in a long time, I think the only out of character actions is Ini not saying "like" every other word, and its an improvement in that regards. Good stuff, man.

Well, most of those super powers were quiet bad. Here would be much better versions that would let them achieve the same thing but better. Maya: inf stomach ---> body full manipulation With it she could just rise her metabolism so she could eat as much as she wants, while also gain big physical boost, change her looks how ever she wants, heal herself, unage herself and much more. Phoenix: Midas touch ---->mater manipulation He could make gold, he could make silver, he could fight climate change, he could manifest object to make stuff for himself. Von Karma: pain weakness detection---->illusion magic She could just make people be in pain, with illusions and not worry about killing them, like she could create illusionary whip. She could also show of as she would look like she would enjoy that. Godot: temporary revival/revival ------ well it is good over all good one, ofc he could have time travel so he could just save her, life manipulation so he could revive her but also extend their lives as long as he needs and heal others etc. etc. as for fly.... wing magic, telekinesis, space manipulation. Flying is one of the worst superpowers as there are so many ways to have it with other powers. Butz: super strength----> body manipulation You can become strong/ you can become handsome/ you can heal yourself and much more or if all he cares about is girls then there is hormon manipulation, that could make person feal fake love towards him and be used as a weapon Ini: infinite language knowledge------- it is over all good, but you can still have some thing better, like perfect memory that would let you learn everything by seeing it once, so she would learn all her listeners language slowly but she could also become extremally smart/wise. Cyborg mind, she could download all languages but also other knowledge and have grate control over herself, so she would not be thought as dumb. Gumshoe: food ingredient and cooking component manifestation?------- just have matter creation/manipulation, non living creation (as in it can create anything that is not alive) Trucy: Invisiblity.....------illusion magic You can use it for magic tricks, you can make yourself invisible and do much more... Judge: immortality---- ok power, you could achieve immortality through other means, but he just wants to live over seeing his family so it is perfectly ok for that. Body manipulation/life manipulation could achieve that but it is just extra.
I would have to agree with Trucy. Having the power of being able to turn invisible would be fun. (Assuming my clothes also become invisible because otherwise what's the point.) I could sneak onto flights or something and go wherever I wanted. I could also perform harmless pranks on people, and get out of some situations pretty easily

I know this is not supposed to be canonical, but it was still weird seeing little Pearl and teenage Trucy in the same courtroom, considering that Pearl is a year older than Trucy. Still, this was very well written. Every character felt like their canonical self. It was definitely enjoyable to watch. Only one thing that felt out of place was Pearl's insistence towards Phoenix to call Maya "Mystic Maya". After all, she said in Justice for All that it's okay for Phoenix to leave the word "Mystic" out of her name since he's Maya's "special someone".
I saw this on a whim right now and this is hella entertaining! I love the dialogue between the characters and everything just seems chill and some harmless fun. These types of character moments are my favorite 🤩❤
Now that I think of it...I'd have chosen teleportation or the ability to stop time. Via teleportation,I can go anywhere I please in the blink of an eye without anyone getting any idea... And for time stopping, well if time's on your side,, it's a big success 👍

Let’s see. Power to Never Feel Full: This is not the power to be able to never stop eating. At some point Maya’s stomach will become full, as well as her entire digestive track, with her body packed with sugars and ATP and fat cells all fattened up. Yet she will not feel full and wish to eat more despite not being able to. She may lose her desire to eat if she throws up her food and her body begins to associate burgers with poison that causes her to throw up, yet she’ll feel hungry all the time. In a year she’ll be quite miserable. Midas Touch: Literal curse, though added clarifications would make it much easier. Trying to pawn the gold would be harder though as coming into large quantities of gold is extremely suspicious and generally requires going through back channels to avoid authorities investigating you. Franziska’s: Whipping only works if Franziska believes the poor individual when they tell the truth. Definitely better powers to get what she says she wants, but whipping for pleasure it kind of makes sense. It’ll probably just be genitalia 99% of the time and serious wounds the other 1%. So may not be all that useful. Being taller makes sense. Taller people tend to be seen as more authoritative and that would be very helpful in the field of law. At least to a point. 7 ft and you’ll come across more as a giant than a figure of authority. Godot: First is very sweet. Second is a bit more questionable. He didn’t specify how quickly he can fly, or how high. Even at supersonic speeds it’ll take a few hours to reach Columbia, which hardly is able to go whenever he wants. Plus air friction and extreme temperatures and lack of oxygen are all possible things that could kill him if he tries to fly much faster than a person can bike or flies much higher than the top of buildings (and he’d want to be much higher if he wants to go supersonic without getting the military involved to shoot him down to prevent property damage). Teleportation seems far more useful to him for that purpose. Edgeworth: Fairly sensible and actually useful, particularly for his job. It would have negative impacts on his relationships because everyone tries to keep secrets and few people like being friends with a mind reader, but as prosecution it’s very helpful. Tracy: Given these games, I can only imagine that the power of invisibility would come back to bite her as everyone who found out about it would try to pin the blame of whatever murder happened on Tracy with the excuse that they didn’t see Tracy, but they heard footsteps and that Tracy must have invisible. Larry: Yep he’s Larry. Judge: Big problem with immortality is that if those you love or are friends with don’t also have immortality, you’re just going to spend your existence watching everyone you know grow old and die. That will not be fun.

The best power would be telekinesis to the atomic level. Not only can you move things with your mind, but you can also heal wounds, make people hallucinate, weld things without issue, heat things up, cool things down, stop time (this one is tricky. You just need to deactivate all electrical signals to everyones brain then freeze them all in place, essentially stopping time. You would also have to stop planetary and clock motion,) instantly kill people, fly, resuscitate people, and even just atomize the entire world for no reason and then reform it yourself.
the best ability is to create anything and it's not even up for debate. want a new power alongside it? create one. want a machine that creates real gemstones? you got it. Wanna get that art piece you see in your head down exactly? boom, there it is.
Godot isn’t the only one who’s thought about this. I’d like _Electrokinesis._ Having powers over electromagnetism is extremely good. Depending on how precise (and powerful) I could be, I might never have to charge electronics again, or even be on an electric grid at all. I wouldn’t need any gas either, I could just _float_ a car around. I wouldn’t even need a license for it either because there are no laws regarding using electricity to float a car over traffic, which is another problem I’d no longer have. Actually, who needs cars at all? I use the money I saved from not having an electric bill to custom order a metal skateboard or surfboard, and now I can sell my car for even _more_ money. I could act as a generator in times of crisis, I could advance science by helping with experiments that require more power than we can currently (heh) provide in the required timeframe. There are also many, many previously very difficult (or even impossible) crimes I could easily commit, but I won’t be going into that. The new job opportunities and lower cost of living should get me enough money to not have to resort to less than legal activities. Feel free to add more uses for this (that don’t involve crime)!
If I can have any power, it could be the Agility/Vitality enhancement from Dishonored The extra health, reduced fall damage and increased movement speed would be super useful when I do some parkour

I would chose to be able to teleport. I could wait last minute to go somewhere, visit my family at any given time, friends, shop. No need for a plane or a car. It would be so usefull for everyday life

OBJECTION! Am going to say that the best superpower (not that op like omnipotence) is CONTROLLING TIME, yes, I know what they will say, and the time-space paradoxes? Well I never said you could ONLY turn back time! I'm also talking about stopping and going to the future, in any case, you could make only subtle changes and be very careful with your actions so as not to destroy the world, you could travel back in time to 2010 and invest all your money in bitcoin and then sell it and be a billionaire, too. You could avoid catastrophes that destroy humanity by traveling to the future and more importantly, you could make technological advances in the past that make humanity advance much faster, avoid pollution and make interplanetary travel! And it is the same as super speed, invisibility or reading minds to a certain extent since you can travel to the past and go to the place you had to go to get there before, if they find you travel to the past and avoid it (for the same reason it is impossible that they use you as a guinea pig) and you can travel to the past or future whenever it is to secretly listen to what a person says when no one sees him or better, what he is going to do or say in the future with which you could win all the trials! There is no better superpower!
if i could choose a superpower, it would be the ability to control time, like, you know be able to slow it, speed it up, reverse it, stop it and all that, i could stop being late to places, i could get a lot of free time, i could speed up or skip entirely boring lectures, i could do all my chores in a blink of an eye with no complaining and while taking breaks whenever i would want. Now that i think about it, time really is something powerful.

But I could store virtually anything: snacks, drinks, tools, first aid kits, money, documents, files, books, movies, games and chargers, clothes, toiletries, collectibles, headphones, keys, your friend's wallet, your friend, your friend's dog, important keepsakes and mementos, emergency supplies, pictures and drawings, gifts, etc.
Two words, probability manipulation.It has zero down sides.You can practically become a god between human kind.You legit have the power to do anything because you can bend luck to your will.
the ultimate super power would be to know absolutely everything. cuz then nothing is beyond your grasp. anything that is possible, youd know exactly how to do it. youd know exactly what is going to happen, exactly what to do to get the best outcome that you know is the best outcome. nothing is beyond you.
I'd say shape-shifting, it's like the swiss army knife of super power. Want to fly ? Shape-shift into a bird. Want to breathe underwater ? Shape-shift into a fish. Want to be invincible ? Shape-shift into a cokroach.
i would pick complete full control of time whilst still being able to move through it and others are unable to see, move or interact with anything whilst time is frozen. the downside though is only being able to control time for a couple minutes and being unable to control what is frozen/sped up or slowed meaning everything and everyone is affected
I would pick super speed, and I mean speed of light kind of speed, because it is a mixture or 3 abilities in one kind of. Invisibility if you move fast enough, flight is mostly meant for travelling, and super strength is another edition too as speed also adds to force/magnitude.
Reasoning is solid for most of these, but the actual powers…eh. 1:09 that is just a curse and would cause harm near immediately. 1:40 No. That is…horrible. 3:10 Okay, this has some application. If nothing else, for self defense as you can find a persons weak spot, but we know that she has no intention of simply defending herself with that power. 3:44 reasonable. 4:41 HMM and we’re back into some more questionable territory. Bring them back in what sense? Restore the body and soul as well, or simply reanimate the body, because if it’s not specific enough, well… 5:22 Hey, no more depressing stuff let’s go before it catches up again. Flight is genuinely fine as a superpower, the only issue would be anything flying through the air and oxygen. Both of those can be fixed easy enough at least so it’s pretty solid. 6:26 Not the worst, but not the best. Super strength as we know it is literally just being absurdly strong, and in some cases could be a detriment to your day to day. If you had asked me this question when I was a kid I would have said teleportation, and if I wanted to keep it to a serious/practical superpower it would still be so with the caveat that I can take people along with me when I teleport, nowadays though I think it would be cool to be able to enter fictional story worlds to experience them first hand but with the inability to die for real within of course and with the stipulation that time more or less paused in the real world when within a story world and vice versa. The main reason I came up with this superpower was because there are a lot of stories and video games where you only ever get to see and/or get told about a small part of its world and being of an often-wandering mind I find myself become curious of the greater unseen parts of these worlds that we never get to see.
Best super power is (selective) mimicry you would be able to sound like anyone,look like anyone, and have the powers of any fictional character you wanted without having to take the drawbacks
If I had to choose one I'd have to go with shapeshifting. I've always hated my body and that would allow me to adjust it to be any way I could possibly want. It could also double as a power of flight or breathing underwater or acid breath or basically anything that's physically possible for any living creature. In theory, as long as my brain was still intact, I'd be able instantly heal from any injuries as well. Also, there would be a loooot of forgery and assasinations... Like practically every billionarie and politician in the world would be on my hitlist because I could hide in plain sight, get anywhere as an animal, even shrink down to a rat and run away before I can be caught. With enough creativity I'd be basically invincible and able to do basically anything lol.

He could make gold, he could make silver, he could fight climate change, he could manifest object to make stuff for himself.

She could just make people be in pain, with illusions and not worry about killing them, like she could create illusionary whip. She could also show of as she would look like she would enjoy that.
Godot: temporary revival/revival ------ well it is good over all good one, ofc he could have time travel so he could just save her, life manipulation so he could revive her but also extend their lives as long as he needs and heal others etc. etc.
as for fly.... wing magic, telekinesis, space manipulation. Flying is one of the worst superpowers as there are so many ways to have it with other powers.
Butz: super strength----> body manipulation
You can become strong/ you can become handsome/ you can heal yourself and much more
or if all he cares about is girls then there is hormon manipulation, that could make person feal fake love towards him and be used as a weapon
Ini: infinite language knowledge------- it is over all good, but you can still have some thing better, like perfect memory that would let you learn everything by seeing it once, so she would learn all her listeners language slowly but she could also become extremally smart/wise.
Cyborg mind, she could download all languages but also other knowledge and have grate control over herself, so she would not be thought as dumb.
Gumshoe: food ingredient and cooking component manifestation?------- just have matter creation/manipulation, non living creation (as in it can create anything that is not alive)
Trucy: Invisiblity.....------illusion magic
You can use it for magic tricks, you can make yourself invisible and do much more...
Judge: immortality---- ok power, you could achieve immortality through other means, but he just wants to live over seeing his family so it is perfectly ok for that.
Body manipulation/life manipulation could achieve that but it is just extra.

I would have to agree with Trucy. Having the power of being able to turn invisible would be fun. (Assuming my clothes also become invisible because otherwise what's the point.) I could sneak onto flights or something and go wherever I wanted. I could also perform harmless pranks on people, and get out of some situations pretty easily

I know this is not supposed to be canonical, but it was still weird seeing little Pearl and teenage Trucy in the same courtroom, considering that Pearl is a year older than Trucy.
Still, this was very well written. Every character felt like their canonical self. It was definitely enjoyable to watch. Only one thing that felt out of place was Pearl's insistence towards Phoenix to call Maya "Mystic Maya". After all, she said in Justice for All that it's okay for Phoenix to leave the word "Mystic" out of her name since he's Maya's "special someone".

Power to Never Feel Full: This is not the power to be able to never stop eating. At some point Maya’s stomach will become full, as well as her entire digestive track, with her body packed with sugars and ATP and fat cells all fattened up. Yet she will not feel full and wish to eat more despite not being able to. She may lose her desire to eat if she throws up her food and her body begins to associate burgers with poison that causes her to throw up, yet she’ll feel hungry all the time. In a year she’ll be quite miserable.
Midas Touch: Literal curse, though added clarifications would make it much easier. Trying to pawn the gold would be harder though as coming into large quantities of gold is extremely suspicious and generally requires going through back channels to avoid authorities investigating you.
Franziska’s: Whipping only works if Franziska believes the poor individual when they tell the truth. Definitely better powers to get what she says she wants, but whipping for pleasure it kind of makes sense. It’ll probably just be genitalia 99% of the time and serious wounds the other 1%. So may not be all that useful. Being taller makes sense. Taller people tend to be seen as more authoritative and that would be very helpful in the field of law. At least to a point. 7 ft and you’ll come across more as a giant than a figure of authority.
Godot: First is very sweet. Second is a bit more questionable. He didn’t specify how quickly he can fly, or how high. Even at supersonic speeds it’ll take a few hours to reach Columbia, which hardly is able to go whenever he wants. Plus air friction and extreme temperatures and lack of oxygen are all possible things that could kill him if he tries to fly much faster than a person can bike or flies much higher than the top of buildings (and he’d want to be much higher if he wants to go supersonic without getting the military involved to shoot him down to prevent property damage). Teleportation seems far more useful to him for that purpose.
Edgeworth: Fairly sensible and actually useful, particularly for his job. It would have negative impacts on his relationships because everyone tries to keep secrets and few people like being friends with a mind reader, but as prosecution it’s very helpful.
Tracy: Given these games, I can only imagine that the power of invisibility would come back to bite her as everyone who found out about it would try to pin the blame of whatever murder happened on Tracy with the excuse that they didn’t see Tracy, but they heard footsteps and that Tracy must have invisible.
Larry: Yep he’s Larry.
Judge: Big problem with immortality is that if those you love or are friends with don’t also have immortality, you’re just going to spend your existence watching everyone you know grow old and die. That will not be fun.

The best power would be telekinesis to the atomic level. Not only can you move things with your mind, but you can also heal wounds, make people hallucinate, weld things without issue, heat things up, cool things down, stop time (this one is tricky. You just need to deactivate all electrical signals to everyones brain then freeze them all in place, essentially stopping time. You would also have to stop planetary and clock motion,) instantly kill people, fly, resuscitate people, and even just atomize the entire world for no reason and then reform it yourself.

the best ability is to create anything and it's not even up for debate. want a new power alongside it? create one. want a machine that creates real gemstones? you got it. Wanna get that art piece you see in your head down exactly? boom, there it is.
Godot isn’t the only one who’s thought about this. I’d like _Electrokinesis._ Having powers over electromagnetism is extremely good. Depending on how precise (and powerful) I could be, I might never have to charge electronics again, or even be on an electric grid at all. I wouldn’t need any gas either, I could just _float_ a car around. I wouldn’t even need a license for it either because there are no laws regarding using electricity to float a car over traffic, which is another problem I’d no longer have. Actually, who needs cars at all? I use the money I saved from not having an electric bill to custom order a metal skateboard or surfboard, and now I can sell my car for even _more_ money. I could act as a generator in times of crisis, I could advance science by helping with experiments that require more power than we can currently (heh) provide in the required timeframe.
There are also many, many previously very difficult (or even impossible) crimes I could easily commit, but I won’t be going into that. The new job opportunities and lower cost of living should get me enough money to not have to resort to less than legal activities. Feel free to add more uses for this (that don’t involve crime)!

Well I never said you could ONLY turn back time! I'm also talking about stopping and going to the future, in any case, you could make only subtle changes and be very careful with your actions so as not to destroy the world, you could travel back in time to 2010 and invest all your money in bitcoin and then sell it and be a billionaire, too. You could avoid catastrophes that destroy humanity by traveling to the future and more importantly, you could make technological advances in the past that make humanity advance much faster, avoid pollution and make interplanetary travel! And it is the same as super speed, invisibility or reading minds to a certain extent since you can travel to the past and go to the place you had to go to get there before, if they find you travel to the past and avoid it (for the same reason it is impossible that they use you as a guinea pig) and you can travel to the past or future whenever it is to secretly listen to what a person says when no one sees him or better, what he is going to do or say in the future with which you could win all the trials! There is no better superpower!

if i could choose a superpower, it would be the ability to control time, like, you know be able to slow it, speed it up, reverse it, stop it and all that, i could stop being late to places, i could get a lot of free time, i could speed up or skip entirely boring lectures, i could do all my chores in a blink of an eye with no complaining and while taking breaks whenever i would want. Now that i think about it, time really is something powerful.

Anything I want to have at the ready I can just summon from a pocket dimension. Granted, I have to have already put something in the pocket dimension to remove it, so the main limitation is my own preparedness. But I could store virtually anything: snacks, drinks, tools, first aid kits, money, documents, files, books, movies, games and chargers, clothes, toiletries, collectibles, headphones, keys, your friend's wallet, your friend, your friend's dog, important keepsakes and mementos, emergency supplies, pictures and drawings, gifts, etc.

i would pick complete full control of time whilst still being able to move through it and others are unable to see, move or interact with anything whilst time is frozen. the downside though is only being able to control time for a couple minutes and being unable to control what is frozen/sped up or slowed meaning everything and everyone is affected

If you had asked me this question when I was a kid I would have said teleportation, and if I wanted to keep it to a serious/practical superpower it would still be so with the caveat that I can take people along with me when I teleport, nowadays though I think it would be cool to be able to enter fictional story worlds to experience them first hand but with the inability to die for real within of course and with the stipulation that time more or less paused in the real world when within a story world and vice versa. The main reason I came up with this superpower was because there are a lot of stories and video games where you only ever get to see and/or get told about a small part of its world and being of an often-wandering mind I find myself become curious of the greater unseen parts of these worlds that we never get to see.

If I had to choose one I'd have to go with shapeshifting. I've always hated my body and that would allow me to adjust it to be any way I could possibly want.

In theory, as long as my brain was still intact, I'd be able instantly heal from any injuries as well.
Also, there would be a loooot of forgery and assasinations...
