You don't know that. How many younger men have reached out to me ? Obviously I won't date them, but clearly they're interested. And the older I get it seems younger guys approach me, I can't explain why. Ambition, probably. Some older people are tired.

Big sis, the reason 'society' traditional encourages men to not date older women is because of two things; one is the man is supposed to be the provider and that takes time to achieve the career required to do so. Second and most important, women have a biological limitation when it comes to child bearing that men simply dont have. Most men can concieve with a fertile woman well into their 60's with no major problems. However, there has literally only been a handful of women in history that have ever given birth naturally and safely in their 60's. If you take these things into account, its obvious why men should aim to date a woman who is in his age or below.

@@Flo35522 The truth is men just get more time to get read for kids. Thats not to say its recommended for men to have kids in their 50s/60s but at the very least its posible. For men, having kids in their early to late 20's is ideal because you dont want to be to old when your kids are adults etc. For most women however, having kids in our mid 40's is almost impossible, at 45 the chance you carry a child to term is close to 10%, meaning 9/10 women will fail. Similair to early 40's late 30's its close to 20% of women fail to concieve or carry to term. The opposite is true for men, less than a handful of men will be affected by being 45 in their ability to concieve. I have two daughters and my recommendation to them will be depending on their personality, to have kids early on in their late 20's even if their career is not figured out yet. Make sure its a man commited to you and children, with a decent income and with passion/drive and you can figure out the rest as you go.
