I dont think its catfish to act different over text vs in person. I dont act the same with ANYONE i know whether its my friends and family. I speak differently in person than in text. I am much shorter and to the point when texting. Sometimes less that a sentence.
I think he’s more specifically saying “leading someone into believing your are someone other than who you are” saying you are into things you aren’t, having a different temperament than initially portrayed, maybe your situation is unstable, no job, lived with ex ect ect…Ann things that could be left out, but considered deal breakers to many.
