You asked if she was a model… I think the haircut came from when her first album came out, a masterpiece called the lion and the cobra. She always had short hair but not shaved, her manager said to her “you should grow you hair because you are pretty” she came into the studio the next day with it shaved off, just to let him know she’s in charge of the way she sounds, what she sings and how she looks. An amazing artist and yes, you should do Troy!
I've been replaying and replaying this song, with tear filled eyes. I'm so sorry and sad that she is gone. A brave but troubled soul. So bold. So very beautiful. 😢❤
Same here. She was RIGHT THE WHOLE FUCKING TIME. (And God bless Kris Kristofferson, and fuck the ossified, sclerotic Dylan "fans" who booed her 3 decades ago. They learned NOTHING.)
I Like the album "I dont't want what I haven't got". I played that album a lot in the 90s. From a quality recorded TDK SA cassette on a quality cassette deck. Great memories. This song was my favorite from that album.
A great commentary and insight on this great song. You really nailed it. This one always had a big impact on me too but like you, it was a long time before the meaning of it really became apparent.
Great reaction🔥 and tribute to the beautifully fierce Sinead O'Connor (R.I.P. 🕊️) I suggest one of my favorite songs of Sinead's to listen to, "Jump In The River" (1988). The closest thing to Indie/Punk Rock Sinead gets to in her discography
I am a new subscriber and recently discovered your videos. You give the best reactions to music that I've seen in a long time. I saw the videos you reacted to Sinead O'Connor. If you haven't seen the video "JEALOUS", THE OFFICAL VIDEO. it's a must. The transitions and the depictions tell a powerful story of love and brokenness, something that she was very familiar with. And her vocals will draw you in. I hope you consider. I am happy to be a part of this new home.
(Japanese do it better...!!!) [They laugh 'cause they know they're untouchable Not because what I said was wrong Whatever it may bring... You asked for the truth and I told you...!!!🧠👁💫😉💖💜💪🤝👏👍🎶] {I really loved this song from the very first time. Thank you and Blessings from Buenos Aires...}
Thank you for these wonderful reactions! If I could request, could I request her version of silent night or you cause as much sorrow Silent night is even more haunting now she's passed :(
@@ePelle741 I grew up with the album. Was wonderful being a kid in the 2000s. I was listening to silent night just the night before she died and it was sad but comforting. I listened again the night after i found out she died and felt my heart melt. SO tragic sounding now
Thank you gor another tribute/reaction...i duggest John, I Love You ....not as well known ....very beautiful...also You Made Me The Thief of Your Heart (from great movie In the Name Of athe Father)
It's never really on the radio. It's a fine song, but your favorite of her recordings? What, is "Nothing Compares To You" too popular and obvious for you? I'd take that "Stretched On Your Grave", "Troy", "Jackie", "Til I Whisper You Something", "Last Day of Our Acquaintance" over "TENC". The Lamb's Book of Life"?
We pray that you find peace among the stars.

Almost 4 decades ahead of her time
Fearless, fragile, beautiful ball of truth. Love you Sinead O'Conner. Thanks for all you gave me.

No, no model. Just a natural, classically beautiful person. Then again, most female singers are if you haven't noticed. Great song.
A beautiful voice and a beautiful face. Beautiful soul too
Seen sinead live playing for charity amazing humble human being rip sinead 💚🙏
They cannot say she didn't warn them about what was to come on snl. But again they felt they were untouchable.
God rest your soul sinead 🙏🇮🇪
I’ve been thinking about this song and it fits the state of the world. Hardly anyone can see the truth right when they’re looking at it anymore.
She was so damn wonderful. True talent.
This song spoke so much to her valor
If you do another, do Troy. That is by far her best song. Completely over looked and under appreciated.
I second this 👍
I third this...I love the Live at Pinkpop version pure and raw...such a great song!!
Yes please do troy ❤
There is a great live version of this song sung by sinead on the festival Pukkelpop. Pls watch it, its 1000 times better then the recorded version.
A great commentary and insight on this great song. You really nailed it. This one always had a big impact on me too but like you, it was a long time before the meaning of it really became apparent.

Silent night is even more haunting now she's passed :(
I love her version of Silent night too❤️
I never knew her version of Silent Night existed until her passing and when I heard it, I was sobbing. To me it was so haunting and beautiful!

Great song from a hugely talented artsit. RIP. As far the hair, she did grow it out several times. But having long hair is not required to be a model.
I love take me to church but there are so many❤

"Last Day of Our Acquaintance" is such a heartbreaking song. "I will speak, but you won't listen..."
Epic
The Emperors new clothes - Trump! RIP angel Sinead x
Most people that listen to music don't pay enough attention to lyrics and meaning.
Also jackie
He smiles and has no eyes, normal eh?
*You will be exposed to what?*
Well done! May she rest in peace. 🙏
An angel.
