If he would have had a long career in Bollywood he would have been one of the top actors but all the girls he had saved would have today been living a life of pain and indignity. I was watching the other day an episode of CurlyTales with Vivek Oberoi. What an enviable life the man leads! He undertakes all these social service projects in India and, through the company _BnW Developments_ of which he is a Managing Partner, also undertakes luxury real estate projects in Dubai.
I mean no hate to Salman Khan as an actor, but many of his self-proclaimed 'fans' still cope and seethe in the comments section on Instagram under Vivek Oberoi's posts. They call him all sorts of names. But Vivek is living his life king-size. He does not need the entertainment industry anymore; he is a businessman scaling the heights of success. In fact, he has not needed it for very long.

Vivek seems like a simple human. He takes his stand... without measuring his own vulnerability. I think we all need to applaud how he stood up for aishwarya . Salman was a very popular actor back then but more than that he had all kinds of fame related... money related power and supposedly mafia connections. He still stood up against that bully and did whats right. Very often... the good people in society have to wait for decades until justice is served. Im glad regardless of how society is... hes grown as a wiser human being and has a better family.
Aishwarya too found someone who can defend her from salman. It was just not within viveks power to protect her . We appreciate that he did the right thing.

I actually admired him for standing upto Salman and calling him out.. Because even though like everyone I grew up being a Salman fan but during this era his behavior had deteriorated beyond repair.. If the industry had taken notice and not taken sides of the oppressor, maybe Salman would have become a better man and pulled up his socks.. Unfortunately being enabled to strip Viveks stardom which was on the rise and many girl's I knew liked him and I felt he was very convincing on screen... And had great emotions and delivery..
But he got supporting roles in which he did well like Omkaraa. And Kurban... Wish he had done Om shanti Om.. He would have been so good as a villain.. But look forward to great films.. And it's sad and so misleading to the public when Salman gets to make Vivek seem like an example for others suffering the same fate as him if they dare cross him.. Keeping up this facade made Salman survive and become more arrogant and egotistical whereas Vivek is humble and more in touch with reality.. Perhaps it's good that his bubble burst before corrupting him.. Anyone who is heedless or beyond making amends is a fool to think that they won't be held accountable in the afterlife by the Almighty.. If Salman did this to Vivek for calling him out for his drunken misbehavoir then Salman by this point should have made up with Vivek publicly and even. If it was just for appearances taken some responsibility for being so cruel and petty to ruin this man's career. He still doesn't acknowledge him why? Because he's not srk.. So he doesn't need to make amends.. Even if Vivek was a nobody and got wronged a true man with a heart of gold would make sure to make things right in this life while he had a chance.. Any one who is God fearing ought to seek forgiveness first from those they harm and then from Allah.
i think the salman khan situation is an exaggeration. far more ppl have done far more damage to salman khan, in. history yet their careers were thriving.
shahrukh khan famously fought salman.
aamir khan didn’t get along with salman.
akshay kumar was accused of having affair with katrina when she was dating salman.
ranbeer kapoor was alleged to have stolen katrina from salman,
arjun was alleged to have taken mallyka arora, but all of these peoples careers are still thriving.

Salman himself abused and belittled Suresh Oberoi for being a nobody and having no prominence in his eyes.. So how come his son was the new emerging lover boy who is taking away hit films aa well as the most beautiful lady in Bollywood who he felt he still could reconcile with had she not gone into a relationship with Vivek. According to more recent rumors Vivek was planted in Ash's life through Salman's machinations to keep an eye on her... But ashwarya weaponised him to save her own career and rid herself from the obsessive and aggressive salman.
How dare they? Salman may deny it but he did try his level best to finish their careers by outright sabotage and exclusion or creating enough trouble for her to work in the movies she signed to be avoided and readily introduced new girls and lookalkes as younger more affordable replacements for these iconic and loved actresses. It's a pattern that just repeated itself and failing every time embracingly for Salman who feels very entitled to be respected and feared and if anyone dares to overtly or covertly show disrespect. He will do whatever he can to show them his power and unforgiving nature so that they rue the day but I think he is resizing now his errors and all those guys who rubbed him the wrong way like John, Akshay, Ranbir etc were either were either emerging as dependable stars who could carry films and become sex symbols. Or in srks case was the biggest superstar himself and along with aamir had been delivering bigger and bigger hits, making efforts to revolutionise hindi cinema orchestrating it's rapidly modernised and polished visuals and storytelling.. Salman had remained stagnant and was diminishing in his star power due to formula films where he delivered the occasional hit or feel good cinemas but the credit was largely given to actresses or other factors in the film.. By 2003 his sexy image and wholesome appeal had been severely damaged by news of his aggression and troubled lifestyle off screen, court cases alcohol toxicity and insecurity from losing his hair, gaining weight when his popularity largely rested on his sex symbol image not that of critically acclaimed work. Losing the top lady of his life pushed him over the edge and that breakup still looms over his head like a dark cloud.. Whereas for others like Hrithik and Susan is not even rmemebred..
I believe that the best of people can be severely rattled by the fear of losing it all and being remembered as the Khan who self sabotaged a chance at a happily married life and this resulted in him changing into this arrogant, feared and short tempered man who no longer made those who once loved him for his innocent childlike attitude now feeling uncomfortable dealing with the weight of the fast sinking ship that could have been his career had it not been salvaged by funding his own style and figuring out the formula and the audiences that he can appeal to..
