Here in Massachusetts it's 85 degrees at the moment, but it will be 48 tomorrow night! Yikes. I'm ready for fall. What excites me most is red or burgundy with leopard. It's Old Hollywood glam, but still tasteful and ladylike if done just right!!
I feel like the trends have finally caught up with my prefernces. I already have lots of moss, olive & forest green in my closet. I already own wide leg jeans, flare jeans & bootcut jeans. I have leopard print shoes & accessories. I own a lot of red: wine, burgundy, aubergine, cranberry, brick red. Love it all especially for Fall. Warmer weather is usually more difficult to find colors I like :) Also liking that tops have stopped being so darn long. I'm 5'4" & don't need a tee shirt to be a mini dress 😮
Things were going so well till we got to butter. Love all the other colours. I am in danger of someone calling an ambulance for me though if I wear butter! Glad there are so many other awesome options for the fall.
I go to Spain a few times a year and remember about 4-5 yrs ago everything was red in stores. I have tons of pictures of it everywhere. Especially shoes. Funny. Even with social media the US is behind the times.
The US is usually 1 to 1.5 years behind Europe, so this doesn't seem like behind, but more on a different track altogether. We weren't 4 or 5 years behind even in the 1800s.
Outside of black, navy is my new favourite colour. I love wearing it in classic items and often pair it with caramel. I wear it with white in summer for a nautical feel and all navy - monotone pairings in fall/winter. My favourite way to dress is monotone with 1 accent colour. I get lots of compliments and how my style is so classic / timeless .
SO happy to see the classic colors burgundy, dark greens, dark blues back in style. For me that means they'll be available for purchase, so I can add a few things to wear for the next few years. And WHO KNEW that red would be so beautiful on you? Sorry, I did not know. It's really great, makes you look energetic and fresh.
Here in Central Florida, changing my colors is the first and really only thing I can do in September and October. I'm here for everything in this palette! Ok, maybe not the leopard, but never say never...😆
Burgundy and olive are my favorite colors and with green eyes, it’s just the best! Also I had to be told this too but quince is pronounced differently. It rhymes with Vince. Who knew 🤷♀️
I love that every season comes with it’s fashion colors and styles, it makes dressing up so fun ! Thank you for including pictures/examples of ways to wear the color it’s super helpful for someone like me who doesn’t know how to pair things too much lol 😊❤
Love all these colors. I always try to wear something other than black and it's a real challenge. I know it's just because I've always thought of black as a fall/winter color and it's "safe" to wear in later seasons, buuut ... this is my year! Ima break out into more of these. Thanks for the ideas!
Looking on my dark moss green foyer with green/grey slate floor, then onto our burgundy-walled study that has a beautiful camel tuxedo couch. Painted in 1993 - previous owner admitted she used a Ralph Lauren color pallet, just like your choices here; will refresh the walls - but won’t change the colors, cuz I just love them.
Hoo boy. With a true winter colouring, the last things I would consider are khakis, olive greens etc. Doesn’t matter if they are in fashion if they make you look tired, washed out and old.
@@meganlim8416On the other hand, that could throw off the color scheme of her whole wardrobe. There have been plenty of years when I opted out of new clothes because I didn't like the styles or colors.
After losing 65 pounds and going from a size 14 to a size 2, I have had to buy all new items for my new wardrobe. I just purchased some beautiful items from Lily silk as well as banana Republic. I have loaded up on the browns, burgundy and navy as well as my neutral tones. I couldn’t be more excited about the fall colors that are coming out because I didn’t have too many of these in my previous wardrobe as I wore a lot of pink and white and royal blue. This was a great video and it confirmed that my color choices are spot on for this season and for all seasons, going forward. I truly believe that navy, brown, Red, burgundy and neutral tones are timeless colors every fall.
Another excellent video Anna!🤗 I love that brown is such a big colour story this year, as some years ago my husband bought me a gorgeous tan brown real leather parker jacket (Woodland leathers). I've got a couple of pairs of ankle boots in a similar colour (monsoon sale, got a gorgeous tan suede square toe pair) so I can sandwich my jeans / navy trousers etc and look well put together. But you have given me a good idea, I've just bought some burgundy ankle boots (kitten heel pointy ones oddly from Clarks, who knew!) so I could pair the burgundy boots with brown / navy / beige trousers cream top and my brown leather jacket 😉So thank you for that one🤩....just need a burgundy scarf / handbag now😆 love watching your channel! Caroline xx
I just added a bunch of shades of greens to my wardrobe for the fall. And red as well. I was going to be so sad if those colors were not on trend for 2024. 😂 I am excited to shop for some burgundy items now. Thank you for sharing. At my age I need all the help I can get on fashion!! I spent over 21 years in the Army and my sense of fashion was very limited. Haha 😂
I saw something similar and I literally miss bought an olive green (almost khaki) trench coat yesterday from Goodwill for $13!! It even has a lining in it to make it super warm that can be removed. Glad this color is back in season
haven't bought anything burgundy in years, but for this fall i went for mary janes and a bag in that color. What surprised me the most was the yellow/brown and grey/yellow combos. I got tons of browns and some yellows, but never wore them together. Loved, loved the video for inspiration ❤️
It's so funny watching these videos. I shop at our local Goodwill as they tend to carry higher end/vintage clothing & I picked up several burgandy pieces last winter & over this summer. One is a faux leather long sleeve shirt by Anthropology and a burgandy corduroy wide-leg jumper with brass hardware. I NEVER WEAR BURGANDY CLOTHES(only burgandy lipstick) but I had to have these two classic looking pieces at $7.99 each. So, that's my small investment in the upcoming fall trend...lol I can't stress enough how much fun it is to thrift shop not to mention the hundreds of dollars you will save if you like to follow trends.
I like burgundy but I saw cherry red in a video and it was a better color for me. It is similar to burgundy but softer, not as dark. I agree with all the fall colors your mention here I would like to try them all. It was a fun video.
Finally some colours that suit my pale skin. I hate that fashion colours are even a thing because you then can’t find anything in stores that suit you when your colours are ‘out’ of fashion 😒
I'm brown, so can't relate. (Brown goes with pretty much everything, especially earth tones.) But trends are only as fashionable as they look good on the individual. If you dress for your personal color pallette year-round, you'll always look nice, regardless of what colors and shades are supposedly "in" for a season.
Love your channel Anna. I have an upcoming equine clinic and I want to look extra chic on my horse. I bought a burgundy shirt trimmed in navy with tiny white piping. I will pair it with my navy breeches, and a cognac equestrian belt. I love the color combo. xo, Cowgirl Deb
Love all the colors, but green. I also love warmer grey . It goes great with burgundy. Now burgundy I got a few pieces from old Celine jacket, mini clasp bag and turtleneck with dropped shoulders. Still thinking of getting burgundy mules 🤔 love navy have a few coveted pieces too😜 can’t wait to cool down🤪 have a blessed day 🙏❤️
I can't wait for cooler temps and the holidays this year. And I love browns and grays, so hopefully I'll be able to stock up on well-made brown and gray pieces while they're popular this year.
I love green, it’s my signature color! Especially Olive. I think Olive works as a great neutral. I like leopard. It’s another great neutral. I’ve just added warm brown. I love brown! I have a burgundy pair of flats and I never wear them they will probably go next purge. I love navy. I’m trying to get away from black because I’m getting older and it’s a bit harsh. So, I have went to browns, olives, and navy for neutrals.
Great content (as always) and inspiring outfit ideas for fall. As always, thank you for your content. Also, loving your hair lately! One thing that might be helpful (or it might not ;)) is that I have heard Quince pronounced like the fruit (rhymes with hence). Hope that helps! Thank you for providing us with up to date ideas!
I love greens. Any green. No leopard for me. Never been a fan of animal prints. About burgundy- I love brown, I love wine red, but burgundy, nah, it’s just somewhere in between and I don’t like it. 😅. I never liked yellow, but it got a different meaning in the past year and I love wearing yellow accents 💛🎗
I cannnot wait to wear my new olive color jeans. Still very hot here but wearing clothes in fall colors in lightweight fabrics will work. Also wore a new army green polo top with white ankle pants. Looked great. Putting sandals away and choosing lighter color loafers and driving loafers. Great video as always.
Your videos are always so fun. Just curious, I saw some other RUclipsr said that ballet flats/Mary Jane flats are not on trend in the fall of 2024 anymore. Is that true? Hope not because I love them.
Green is considered a neutral. Leopard is a patterned neutral (black, brown, white). Silver & hematite/gray -neutral. Think of mixed paint. Browns (red based or yellow based) = neutral. Hi Anna! I want to incorporate burgundy into my wardrobe with a new bag and pair of boots. Can you give me some clothing ideas that would pair with them? I usually wear "old money" style, simple and classic pieces. :)
I actually like the jacket at 4:01. I don’t see it in the list of clothing probably because it’s not part of the theme, but if you could share where that is from, that would be great …. thank you very much!
I haven’t seen teal, peacock or sapphire blue this fall. I guess I am not referring to all three shades , just a rich deep blue that isn’t navy. It always seems to appear with burgundy in the fall. Is it just not hot this fall?
Hey Anna, what brand and style blue jean pants with a lighter horizontal stripe (when you were talking about denim with browns) were those jeans. Thank you in advance.
Because we both live in Florida we don't see the Fall Leaf show that every iten represented. Except Navy But think about it, the dark green and the fading from green to yellow or from red to yellow, all ending in shades of brown ARE nature's fall/autumn colors. I was lucky and gre ip with a little vacation cottage in the mountains. I wished then and now that everyone could!

I only wish I could find more items in navy blue, especially footwear. It took me 30 years to find a pair of navy boots in genuine leather! Here is the US, black dominates so much, but I don’t really like wearing black. Most brands offer items only in black and one trendy bright color, I don’t want either. I also really hated the “Dark Navy” color that brands pushed last year. It never goes with anything because it’s neither black, nor navy. It just looks like cheap, faded black. I want more classic, basic, colors like the browns, dark greens and burgundy we’re seeing this autumn. A lot of brands are also making weird tertiary/quaternary colors, like gray/blue or brown/purple, two I saw recently. They just won’t go with anything in my wardrobe. What’s wrong with just gray, light blue, brown or purple? Combining two tertiary colors makes them so difficult to style. I’ve been shopping more and more from non-American brands to get the basic colors, like the navy blue, burgundy, and khaki green, that I want, and the natural fiber fabrics I need. Even though we Americans have to pay a lot more because of import tariffs, at least I find what I really want to wear, so it’s worth it.

Those colors are classic! Always on trend ( whatever that is) as well as classic leopard print. I have pieces for years!
Yep, and I always own some navy, it's a great neutral.
Definitely classic colors that always look amazing!

You lucky people. Navy doesn’t like me much. I can do cobalt blue tho
I think that too. I do not like black at all. I love navy, charcoal grey, and brown as replacements for black.
Agreed! ❤️❤️❤️
I LOVE Burgundy and Navy!!!
I love that burgundy and red made a comeback because I can finally add new pieces to my closet. Now I need jewel tones to come back.

All my favorite colors are trending this year! All the outfits are gorgeous can't wait till the cooler weather gets here!
I love burgundy. The butter yellow is a beautiful neutral.

So many! I was surprised too lol
